  1. Most similar powers do not allow set IOs to be placed so that you can't put yourself in a position where you have stealth you cannot turn off to be able to complete escort missions.
  2. A small but potentially critical distinction here is that quills from the spines set is apparently coded as an attack power, not a dot and can indeed crit. I just tested it on my spines/bio scrappah I rolled to try out scrap farming. Will test Irradiated ground momentarily. EDIT: Irradiated ground can crit as well.
  3. As someone who also enjoys the zen of a nice farming run I appreciate this thread. I would be very interested in seeing a post (or another thread) on scrapper farming builds. I've tinkered just a little and I think that they have the potential to be very good. The scrapper ATO sets are more offensively oriented than brutes and I think that could help improve clear speed. I've got a TW/Bio that farms quite competently of course and built a dedicated farmer spines/bio but I haven't incarnated it completely yet so I'm not sure how it will perform in comparison to its more brutey counterparts. Might have to give a claws/fire broot a spin though.
  4. No I play the traditional way with one hand on KB and one on mouse. It's been my experience that the MM play experience is forgiving enough that I can spare one hand or the other to issue a quick command on the numpad. The ideal alternative is to have a gaming mouse with extra buttons and assign some of those frequently used numpad keys (all, FOLLOW!) to your mouse.

  12. How to do things manually Should you feel the need to do things manually, it is fairly easy to do so. Step 1: Create a folder. I used C:\Binds because it's very basic and I wanted to be able to share these with my kids without needing to modify for pathing if I put it on an alternate drive that they may not have. Step 2: Create the All.txt File. This is a file that you will need for any and every power set. This allows you to issue commands to all 3 tiers of your pets at the same time. Step 3: Create four more text files. You will need one base file for your power set (Bots, Mercs, Demons etc) and then one file for each tier of pet. These are what allow you to issue commands to specific tiers of pet. The All.txt is listed below and attached, the text needed for each power set is in the posts following this one. If you need to save your binds to a different location simply change all instances of C:\Binds\POWER.txt to the path that you have created for your bind folder. numpad4 petcom_all aggressive numpad5 petcom_all defensive numpad6 petcom_all passive numpad7 petcom_all attack numpad8 petcom_all follow numpad9 petcom_all goto lctrl+decimal petcom_all dismiss All.txt
  13. Back in the day, Sandolphan's numpad binds opened the amazing world of Masterminds for me. The ease of use and control offered by these binds is what made the AT playable for me and led to a lot of good times. There is a brief article explaining how they work found here on the wiki. The article provides the basis of how the whole things works but only provides example bind files for Mercenaries which tends to be the least played set for the AT. Since I love Masterminds, in the month that I've been back I've rolled everything except Mercs and Ninjas (Both of which I played extensively on live!) and hand written the bind files for them. Since the work is already done, I figured I would do what I can to give back to this amazing community and post them here for everyone to use. I have attached a .rar with bind files for all sets. The .rar can also be found for download on my Google Drive here. I will also include the text from the files in the following posts for people who prefer to do it that way. I've made a couple changes from what is listed in the wiki article to make things run smoother (in my opinion). I've used the bindloadsilent command so that you will not get a bind loaded message spammed into your system chat every time you use a bind and I've also used the powexec_location me command for summoning the minions so that they will automatically be summoned adjacent to you with a single button press instead of having to click a ground target to summon them. The Basics, how to use these binds Instructions for doing things the easy way. Step 1: Create a folder in your C drive called Binds. All my bind files are written with that path in mind. If you need to use a different path you will need to edit the text files to refer to the path you have chosen. Step 2: Unzip/Unpack the MMBinds.Rar file into that folder. Step 3: Log into your mastermind and type /bindloadfile "C:\Binds\POWERSETNAME.Txt" , obviously replace POWERSETNAME with your power set of choice such as Mercs, Demons, Bots etc. The quotes are important as it will not load anything with a space (Summon Demons) if you do not use them Step 4: Go. Hunt. Kill Skuls MMBinds.rar

    MM ATO's

Gang War, Hell on Earth and Soul Extraction. Also in your T2 or T3 the rech can be nice if you're in a really rough mission or just have a string of bad luck and they die back to back. Also, I think the set is solid on numbers regardless of having rech. If you were to actually 6 slot it you would get (pre ed) 82% Acc, 142% Dam, 82% End redux and 99% rech. Hitting ED levels on Acc, Dam and -End is solid. I would agree with others however and I tend to use 4 piece command 2 piece mark or other combinations.
  24. Which pool gives you access to that? That would be Leviathan mastery
  25. Thanks for the build, I'll certainly look it over and poke at it. I'm playing the Rad/Bio in the other window right now and I have to say... the animation times don't thrill me thus far but it certainly hits like a truck.
