  1. With Cardiac Core Paragon your endurance consumption gets manageable and your resistances get decently round up, however, I think you skipped a lot of important powers: Soul Drain: Best BU in game, just take it. Cloak of Fear and Oppressive Gloom: DA is a set where everything helps, I made the mistake of skipping OG in my DA/DA Scrapper thinking I did not need it and he became overnight a fine vengeance bait, even better than any blaster. I honestly do not understand Medicine Pool, Dark Regeneration is awesome heal even if not slotted for healing and your slotting will very well grant you an additional 5% rchg but with the low accuracy you are skipping one of the bet heales in game, also, one of your best damage dealing attacks that also helps with a heal is not slotted for damage or accuracy. Anyone who has fighted Ghost Widow in STF knows very well. Also, the synergy is so that when you have them rounded up for your Dark Regeneration and get your HP back you are in a perfect position to use your Soul Drain and annihilate everything around you. Also, for a meager 12% defense, I can't see the point of having a +3% def IO, you won't be better with 12% def instead 9%. I usually never get Hasten on Dark sets because of concept so not sure I could dive into the build and keep Hasten perma but note that Hasten does not stack so 109 scks rchg are as good as 119.9 secs rchg so you can use the extra slots somewhere else or review a few sets taken just for the +rchg. As for vertical travel power, just get Super Jump. I honestly think that you have used many +rchg sets in detriment of other more useful utilities, +rchg won't keep you alive, the active mitigation combined with resistances, defense and mez will. I gave you my criticism trying to be constructive however, I have to admit that I cannot suggest any build since I would always aim for S/L softcap and would not get hasten so, if you feel perma-hasten is that important on a Dark / Dark, go ahead, I just tried giving you some ideas to think about.
  2. SR is a gamble but the primary can change it a lot, it benefits a lot from primaries with any form of dmg mitigation and, if I recall correctly, there was some aoe knockdown with DB. On the other hand, DB benefits greatly from the +rchg in SR (or elec ).
  3. For farming you will be far better with a Spines/WP, either Brute or Scrapper than with a SS/WP. Claws and Savage Melee can also work for you, although Claws will probably work better paired with /elec, in fact, in the old forums there was a massive thread talking about Claws/Elec Brutes regarding farming and other stuff. WP is a solid set that needs little to shine but for farming, you need more AoE damage so Spines, Mace or Axe should do the trick for you for a solid, inexpensive build apt for farming.
  4. Body Mastery is usually the chocie I take on weapon holding chars so I avoid redraw (I think that was fixed). Still, I would recommend you go instead (or as well) DB/SR and enjoy becoming a buzzsaw in an endless killi...erm, arresting, fest.
  5. I tried a few new combos that so far I am loving: DM/Bio, Siphon Life does wonders for survivability on Offensive Adaptation and that extra dmg makes me silly giggle when I use Soul Drain. Savage/Nin, so far is awesome. Was soon as I take him to lvl 35 will add one of the blasts to the single attack chain, doubting with Soul Mastery and two ST attacks (dark blast and insta-snipe) that also debuff foes ToHit, Darkness Mastery for a ST attack and a cone attack that also debuff foes ToHit or Blaze Mastery with a ST attack and more AoE goodness (Fire Blast and Fire Ball) that also debuff foes HP with a feast of orange numbers. Loving these two, next one in my list to try is Ice/DA
  6. I had a lvl 50 elec/shield brute back in the day and to be honest with you, elec melee always felt a tad lackluster on a brute, lots more than other sets which shine later on or when the fury bar starts moving up seriously (such as claws or dm) so I'd go scrapper. As to elec/dark, afraid I can't be of assistance, from afar I'd say the combo lacks synergy but to be totally honest with you, the reason I never tried is because I have a hard time picturing a right concept for the combo. In any case, for what is worth, I'd go scrapper with elec melee.
  7. Glad you like it :). Since you get granted a free respec every 10 lvls, you can change your choices easily, basically I am saying this because you don't really need medicine (healing flames is way better than aid self) and without Tough, lack of active mitigation from Fire (and not so much either from Claws) will be of great assistance. Flight as a travel power is a choice as good as others, you can slot Hover same way you would slot Combat Jumping, still, combat jumping offers more than Hover in terms of movement agility, endurance reduction and immobilization protection. Hover on the other hand, depsite the much higher end consumption and slow movement, works really well when caltrops or when speed boosted in uncomfortable maps plus also transforms knockback in just a backflip on same spot so it is a KB portection of sorts. Of course, your choices are up to you, what works for me does not necessarily work for players with different gameplay style.
  8. Plus Combat Jumping also protects against immobilization. I think it is a basic power.

  10. To be honest, with all the respecs we're being granted for free, I think the best you can do is try powers and combinations and choose whatever works best for your gameplay which is probably one of the most awesome features in CoH, how same powerset combo can be adapted to many different gameplays and still be efficient. For soloing the SJ cone is very lackluster but last night, during a Manticore TF, I found out that with a good tank that herds mobs properly, it gets lots more effective and lots more fun to play. Mind you, all Brute attacks seem lackluster at the beginning until Fury bar starts moving up (sorry, not sure if you are new to the game, if not, this is just advice in good faith, not trying to lecture or be patronizing).
  11. It happens to all offensive foe toggles such as darkest night, radiation infection or enervating field
  12. That happened to me a couple times before migration but after migration, it happens pretty much every time i zone into a mission or sg base

I never take Hasten on DA chars for concept reasons so Gloom will need to be incorporated in your ST chain and maybe slotted differently to fit in said chain.
  14. As mentioned, WP benefits a lot from Fighting Pool and you mentioned you were going for Leaping so if you take Comabt Jumping and Super Jump, Spring Attack will help you in the AoE front as well as Cross Punch from Fighting Pool. Fire Ball from Blaze Mastery, Energy Torrent from Body Mastery, Tenebrous Tentacles and Night Fall from Darkness Mastery, Ball Lightning from Mu Mastery and Caltrops/Exploding Shuriken from Weapon Mastery will help you also on the AoE front, your choice. Besides the mentioned power pools, I usually chooce Hover as a mule for a lotg 7.5% rchg plus it is helpful on certain situations, such as caltrops or when speed boosted on maps complicated to navigate and of course, Speed for Hasten. From there, you can select Leadership for added def, dmg, and/or accuracy, Concelament for more lotg and/or ghost certain missions or even you could try Presence Pool for added mitigation with Pacify and Invoke Panic. Even Medicine Pool if you want some self heal although I personally find medicine the less useful, but that's me though. For me, the best thing about WP is that benefits from a lot of pools / epics so I'd choose depending on what you want, def, rchg, dmg, aoe...
  15. This is how I probably would do it, decent HP once accoladed, decent resistances, especially after Cardiac Core Paragon in Alpha slot which I am afraid it is a must otherwise the endurance is going to be unmanageable without micro-managing toggles. Decent recharge without Hasten (I usually never take it on DA chars for concept reasons), but you should be able to double stack Follow Up after strike or swipe and softcapped to S/L def which makes your scrapper almost unkillable. Not too much dmg mitigatin besides Oppressive Gloom and Cloak of Fear but the added AoE goodness of Fire Ball should be noticeable in killing speed. I removed Shockwave because it is not a good idea to KB your enemies away from your Dark Regeneration radius, bear in mind it is a heal that the more foes hits, the higher is the HP you receive from it. Had to use ring of Fire as a mule for extra S/L def to get to softcap. Could have allocated a few in Weave and activate it instead but this way keeps your end consumption much lower and the 3.75% +rchg is always handy. I would keep the Kismet to help the reduced acc of Cloak of Fear but maybe you prefer removing it and use the slot for extra res in Murky Cloud but I don't think it would be as noticeable as the extra ToHit you get from the Kismet. If you are dead set on Claws, that's what I would do, it will be damn expensive though. Mi advice would be to use a primary with better mitigation such as axe, mace, ice or dark melee. 16. None of the above, go Dark Melee/SR and then all other primaries will feel subpar combined with SR.
  17. To be honest with you, I'd either frankenslot Tactics with Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control end/ToHit, Adjusted targetting end/tohit and Adjusted Targetting ToHit Buff for the dmg bonus (or Gaussian's ToHit Buff for extra speed, up to you) although my goal would be to allocate 3 Cytoskeleton Exposure Hamidon Origin Ehnancements. I always use Kismet on my Combat Jumping because the Kismet is on as long as CJ is on, so it's the easiest choice to put it. Same would happen with any defensive toggle such as Maneuvers, Weave, Phalanx Fighting, Grant Cover or Gymnastics from Tactical Arrow. It would also work with Hover but having Hover always on during a fight is something I wouldn't do myself because it's way too slow. If you slot it on a pasive def power that is always on, such as Agile, Doge, Lucky, Tough Hide (I don't think there are others) then it would be always on no matter what, like the Numina or Miracle procs. I know most of the above examples are melee powers, for Blasters in general I'd say Combat Jumping is the best option, then Hover and then probably Maneuvers (unless Tactical Arrow where Gymnastics would be my first choice).
  18. Glue Arrow is awesome, it helps me keep all baddies together in time for Rain of Arrows and the Flash Arrow debuffs. I haven't explored about procs since, if I amnot mistaken, procs were changed by Synapse (always him *sigh*) and tied to the power recharge so, the higher recharge time, the higher chance for a proc to happen. If I am mistaken, I would ahppily review that build and probably many others.
  19. I personally think that villain content from lvl 40 onwards kinda sucks, seems that devs thought "let's throw them a bunch of AV's, they'll love it" and the 40-50 content redside seems half arsed. Got a couple of villains since the story arcs up to lvl 40 are awesome and once I get to lvl 40 -41 with epic arcs done, will probably take them heroside unless I have managed not to outlvl any bank robbery mish, in which case will wait until I have all badges for Accolade.
  20. Oh man, this looks like a damn Carnival of Light instead of a proper forum thread. One almost expects the moderator to arrive and start bashing our Skuls and then say "Crey me a river" when we complain we're being treated as war Prisoners. I honestly wish I were on a nice beach in Malta instead of getting Infected from reading all these puns.
  21. I would probably go for something like this, almost perma-hasten (0.8 secs downtime), 3.21 seconds rchg on Follow Up so you can stack it, 9 secs downtime on Shadow Meld and almost at scrapper's cap resistance on S/L damage. Main downside for me on this build is that only has 1737 HP fully accoladed and I like my builds to go over 1800 HP on scrappers. I have chosen Dark Blast instead of Focus so the build incorporates negative energy dmg as well as lethal and fire dmg. If you prefer Focus, just ditch either SJ or Consume and use the Dark Blast Slots on Focus with same set. Another big downside of this build is taht it will cost a damn fortune. 22. Pretty much :)
  23. Hmmm, let's see: 1.- Knife throwing for Blasters 2.- Ball and chain for scrappers, brutes and tanks 3.- Stone melee ported to scrappers 4.- Clowns Mastermind 5.- Crocodiles Mastermind 6.- Something with sharks with laser beams 7.- Getting rid of villain patron arcs to unlock the epic pools 8.- The powersets that appear on Pine's Hero Designer (Wind control and all the pool powers). 9.- Did I mention getting rid of villain patron arcs?
  24. Hmmm, I'm not Tsoore I understand what's going on so I'm going to a corner to Crey.
  25. Totally this, I rolled my old chars but found out they were just sitting there at lvl 2 and I didn't feel like playing them so I decided that some of them would be re-rolled with new powersets or even as different AT's and some others, well, those are gone for good, they were fun to play but I already played them a lot so I prefer to explore new things. Also, there's the fact that most of my old and beloved chars were melee and for some reason, I am now enjoying ranged chars more than melee chars.
