This is effectively already in the game with the starred content, lab, etc. Those tend to be done in premade's with aggressive team comp requirements.

No requirements for premade builds necessary and we don't turn anyone away when we run either advanced difficulty content or the Labyrinth (which I am not sure why you lumped together with the former?) on Indomitable - this was discussed on the first page of this thread by the developer who made that content.

It'll be awhile. I know this is probably supposed to be an inf sink, but having consolidated all my prismatics to one character, it's not really an issue. But the opportunity cost, it's like 2B inf, give or take. That amount shouldn't bother me, but if it didn't bother me, then I probably would have a lot less than I do now.

Want to feel even worse? Just go on to Beta and you can have every prestige costume for free! 😁

That's some work to reward ratio you've got going there.

Not so much. The game has been back for six years and any new player can ask for help - the Homecoming Team made it a priority to focus on QoL improvements to make it easy for new players to learn the game and ask for help.

How are you keeping them flowing?  I can start off with a bunch but the availability steadily drops over time.  That is not to say there aren't options to help.  Amplifiers are a thing.  Clarion is a thing.  Learning how much you can just stand there and let them pound until the mez wears off is a thing.  But many late game mobs can burn through inspires especially mez protection inspires rather rapidly compared to how fast they can be  replenished.   Inspires alone don't do it unless notoriety is low, spawn size is low and patience is a close friend.

Great question. At Level 1, players can email themselves up to 200 emails with attachments, including Inspirations.

Edit: Additionally, outside of instanced content, players can open the Auction House window using /ah and purchase any number of Inspirations.

I never explained to anyone how to get it. I gave hints, but never told anyone the solution. Regardless, I understand it was too convoluted.

That's my bad - I'm not referring to you the developer of the badge that this thread is about. My attempt to convey that if a badge were to be as difficult as to need the marker of it explain how to get it (beyond the badge text hint), it was too convoluted.

  6. If a badge requires the developer to explain how to get it, meaning the badge text does not suffice, and players are clearly grasping at straws, I think it starts to get in to the convoluted territory.

It was worth a shot and I'm glad it was attempted. I hope I don't have to do that again for another badge (looking at you Tarnished Star!)

You couldn't pay me to run Labyrinth of Fog.

It's really a wonderful experience when it's led by an experienced group like the one we do on Mondays on Indomitable or with the current Font High Score record holders over on Excelsior. Best rewards in the game for a little over an hour of a player's time.

Having a gold title makes it so that I am not visibly flagged as a roleplayer any more. This is very inconvenient. At least on Everlasting, plenty of players used pink names to show when they are in character and looking for RP.

Now there's no way to show that, for those of us fortunate enough to have earned a special title.

I feel this. Thank you for the feedback.

It's not content for everybody (no single piece of content will ever be), but for many players it's important content to them and I'm frequently asked when the next Advanced Mode or Task Force is coming.

What might be lost to others, but is significant on Indomitable, is when a team earns the Vanguard MDC or (soon!) earns Excalibonk, it FEELS GOOD. It's hard to get a dedicated team together, but that's easily fixed with pre-scheduling/sign ups. When something is difficult and it's overcome through teamwork, the experience becomes binding and players are that much more motivated to play with each other.

I was on Brainstorm. I kind of liked the look of the "undefined" mode that also has a mini-undefined mode thrown in. For 1500 prismatics, that's a nice extra to toss in.

But what I'm missing is the option to make the undefined green look into a red look, or a purple look. Or some other color.

I wouldn't expect HC to finagle a way to let us color the costume toggle ourselves, but I think purple or red would be fine choices to expand on this pricy option.

I would make this a suggestion, but I'm obtuse. Before I do that - is this option just something I missed? I got it on brainstorm, and didn't see anything, even went to the tailor, but the tailor told me to turn the toggle off, so guessing it's just not an option there.

Go to the tailor, look under prestige powers. Change to the different colors under the mini and regular undefined powers.
