  1. Here's a real question for anyone whose posted in this sub thread - how many posters have shared an idea or suggestion and actually agreed with other posters who point out the flaws or criticisms of that? What a crazy world to think one's ideas are without flaw. Anyone can search my threads and see how many ideas I've suggested that were stinkers, how many were implemented, and how many went straight to the next page without discussion. I had a terrible idea for making Echo zones PvP enabled like four years ago and at the time it was a terrible idea and in hindsight it is still a terrible idea.
  2. I think the expectation that developers or members of the Homecoming Team respond to (your individual) threads is unrealistic. If you look at the thousands of threads that have been made over the past six years in that sub forum and count how many have had individual responses from them, you'd see that developers and the Homecoming Team either will respond in the way this suggestion requests, respond in a way to suggest interest or completely reject the idea, or there won't be any response whatsoever and the suggestion makes it in to the game immediately without any testing or feedback soliciting (looking at you role tag color change!). So I guess in a way, your suggestion is sort of in place already for that sub forum and nothing is stopping anyone from DM'ing a developer or Homecoming Team member with an idea. You can even join the Closed (not actually closed) Beta discord and discuss in real time ideas with the developers.
  3. Yeah I can agree - the closet thing would've been from HOs prior to the introduction of the Invention System.
  4. Big sacks of HP are just no fun. I'm looking at you, Mole Machines!!!
  5. No requirements for premade builds necessary and we don't turn anyone away when we run either advanced difficulty content or the Labyrinth (which I am not sure why you lumped together with the former?) on Indomitable - this was discussed on the first page of this thread by the developer who made that content.
  6. Nope.
  7. It's my money and I want it now!
  8. Want to feel even worse? Just go on to Beta and you can have every prestige costume for free! 😁
  9. Not so much. The game has been back for six years and any new player can ask for help - the Homecoming Team made it a priority to focus on QoL improvements to make it easy for new players to learn the game and ask for help.
  10. Great question. At Level 1, players can email themselves up to 200 emails with attachments, including Inspirations. Edit: Additionally, outside of instanced content, players can open the Auction House window using /ah and purchase any number of Inspirations.
  11. Inspirations are there to use. If a player chooses to ignore them, that's on them.
  12. That's my bad - I'm not referring to you the developer of the badge that this thread is about. My attempt to convey that if a badge were to be as difficult as to need the marker of it explain how to get it (beyond the badge text hint), it was too convoluted.
  13. If a badge requires the developer to explain how to get it, meaning the badge text does not suffice, and players are clearly grasping at straws, I think it starts to get in to the convoluted territory. It was worth a shot and I'm glad it was attempted. I hope I don't have to do that again for another badge (looking at you Tarnished Star!)
  14. The access to mez protection from Inspirations are available to all ATs at all levels.
  15. Igneous prestige costume when?
  16. It's really a wonderful experience when it's led by an experienced group like the one we do on Mondays on Indomitable or with the current Font High Score record holders over on Excelsior. Best rewards in the game for a little over an hour of a player's time.
  17. I feel this. Thank you for the feedback.
  18. What might be lost to others, but is significant on Indomitable, is when a team earns the Vanguard MDC or (soon!) earns Excalibonk, it FEELS GOOD. It's hard to get a dedicated team together, but that's easily fixed with pre-scheduling/sign ups. When something is difficult and it's overcome through teamwork, the experience becomes binding and players are that much more motivated to play with each other.
  19. This is not true for Indomitable. We run the Lab (with Font of Malevolence) every single Monday each week. And we do Hardmode events on Sunday.
  20. 2004 2025 Discuss. Note: The former is from the City of Heroes launch manual, the latter I stole from @Vanden
