  1. A bit of a follow up after talking this over with Keen and running some experiments: 1. Toxic resists do matter, since the greens deal toxic dot. It is possible to build to cap toxic resists with one reconstruction, and is decently easy to achieve cap with 2 reconstructions. 2. End drain is an issue sometimes. You can apparently avoid it with enough energy def to avoid the blue hits. Keen says that in a raid setting, this isn't an issue, probably due to a combo of ageless, people firing off buffs that cap defense, and people distracting aggro from blues. However, bio armor has it easy due to a strong endurance drain resist in the armor.
  2. (Updated with better time) Solo Lady Grey TF - 31:44
  3. The run I recently posted with my ill/rad was all range, but of course I used lingering radiation. However, I ran tests with combat analyzer to approximate how much effective dps was coming from lost regen (as explained a little in my post), and I calculated that my raw dps (before -regen) was approximately 454. This would have me destroying the pylon in about 117.5 seconds (so just under 2 minutes) with an otherwise identical run, if I did not use lingering radiation. (Also bearing in mind that this is quick enough I would still have assault hybrid toggled the entire time). This, however, is still just under 2 minutes with good rng. I have a blaster who is not able to hit these numbers even (at least with the current build).
  4. Everlasting currently has two double hami raids per day at 6 pm and 9 pm est. These are both in the Hive. (The weekend 3 pm raids occur in the Abyss mainly to accommodate some players on the server who do not want to switch alignment from villain.)
  5. You can tank hami in melee. Everyone on Everlasting who tanks hami, including myself, does so in melee, and it causes no problems. It makes it easier to do without outside buffs as well because you can use more self heal powers, such as DNA Siphon. While the league is clearing mitos, no one should be close enough to you to be hit by the aoe. If necessary, you can pull away while the league fights hami, but in my experience, this is not necessary. But yes, the best builds will have: 1. high max hp, 2. high regen, 3. reliable self heals. Regen brute, bio tanker, dark tanker, and probably willpower tanker are all good picks. Make sure to get all the accolades that buff your max hp, vigor core alpha for better regen/healing, and melee hybrid for even more regen (once again, improved by being in melee).
  6. For most of my gameplay, I run incan, so I like to stick with psi mastery for the mez prot.
  7. Best time so far on my ill/rad controller. I've run many tests and experiments to optimize this build for st dps. There are two things I have in mind which I could do to improve this slightly: 1. musculature core instead of intuitive radial (but I want the to hit debuff increase), 2. fire mastery instead of psionic mastery (but I want the mez prot from indomitable will). These most likely make a small difference, though. Timer start: 0:09, when phantom army is activated Timer end: 1:43, when the pylon is destroyed Total time: 1:34 Effective DPS calculation: (30677.15+(102.26*94))/(94*0.8)=535.77 'DPS' coming from lingering radiation (based on past power analyzer tests): About 82 (factoring in periodic stacking) Raw DPS calculation (including enervating field and degenerative interface debuffs, but no others): About 454 Incarnates used: intuitive radial alpha, degenerative core interface, assault core (toggled), and rebirth radial destiny (to help keep phantasm alive).
  8. Shield would not do well against hami without outside buffs. Your regen will be debuffed to nothing and hami will bypass all your defenses. It becomes a question of how quickly hami can widdle away at your health. On the other hand, enough people stacking regen buffs on you would fix that. But with that said, probably any tanker chaining eoes and taking outside regen buffs can tank hami. (And yes, I would recommend taunt, especially to grab back aggro quickly after the bloom.)
  9. You cannot be healed if you are tanking hami. Hami debuffs healing received. Empaths can spam regeneration aura on you, and that will help, but heals will not. A good hami tanking build these days will not rely on empaths however, so this is not a concern.
  10. Hami's -healing debuffs will also prevent green insps from having any affect, actually. Rebirth won't heal you either (only buff your regen). So you need to rely on certain self heals from your powersets.
  11. Oh yes, I know about the old hami raids. My comments are specifically for the current hami raids, of course (which is what is relevant to the OP). The people I know who tank hami these days, myself included, all stay in melee range the entire time, including the final phase. Incarnates are powerful enough to make this go extremely fast and smooth most of the time. We typically will clear the 75% bloom and then just burn through the rest. It is even possible to burn through all blooms if you have a dream league. Also, I just noticed that no one has replied to your earlier question yet. Yes, hami still deals -regen and -healing received. Hence the usefulness of empathy is stacking regen buffs to overpower the -regen, since the heals do nothing. Self heals, however, will still work. Hence why a powerset like dark can work so well, because dark regeneration is such a good self heal.
  12. If I'm tanking hami on the ground in melee, the league should not be in range of the aoe splash zone until the mitos are cleared. And during the fight hami phase, it is usually not an issue due to all the buffs (like rebirth and clarion). But if it is an issue, the tanker can simply move away from hami at this point. This phase is usually very short, so any melee range regen buffs/self heals won't be important anymore.
  13. Everlasting currently has two double hami raids daily, one at 6 pm est, the other at 9 pm est. On weekends, we have three double hami raids, the third at 3 pm est.
  14. Hami tanking does not involve being at range. The best sets are those with high regen, but even more important than that is: 1. high max hp, 2. reliable self heals. Bio tanker, dark tanker, and regen brute all perform extremely well. I don't know enough about willpower to comment on that one, but I expect it would also perform well.

Ill/cold may be better than ill/rad, but I'm not convinced it's a clear win. The main benefit of cold over rad is that it deals more -res. But on the flip side: 1. Rad gives 30% recharge from AM. Not only does AM give a damage buff (which helps bridge the -res gap a bit), but cold will need to make up that recharge difference with bonuses, potentially at the cost of other important things. 2. Lingering radiation and benumb deal the same -regen for the same duration, but lingering radiation recharges faster. Lingering radiation does stack, so you gain greater effective dps, which scales up greatly for higher regen targets. Regardless, both ill/rad and ill/cold perform extremely well at soloing avs/monsters. As a point of reference, my ill/rad can take down a devouring earth monster in about 3 mins with good rng. Using incarnates but no lores. (That's over 700 effective dps, factoring in -regen.)
