    That's the Void Skiff travel power. You can find it at any P2W vendor under the prestige powers>travel>flight tabs. It costs a million inf to buy. Note: It's an "affect self" power and you can't use any attacks powers while using it. While it gets you around like any other flight power, it is purely cosmetic sadly.

  2. I realize this is necroing an old post, but I'm currently in the process of leveling this combo. For w/e reason, I can't open up any builds properly. Sometimes char name, origin and power sets are the only thing imported from here. Other times, nothing at all. Would it be possible for each of you to make the data chunks available? That's the only way I can see the full build. Thank you.

     

    FYI. I've tried all the build opening gimmicks that I'm aware of and mids is in it's updated form.

  3. Windows 11 (installed a few days ago, updated yesterday morning)

    v3.0.6.0 Issue 27, Version: 21.8090

     

    Character name, origin and powers sometimes import but the enhancements never do. I have to manually recreate each and every build from the site. Copy/pasting data chunks (why can't everyone do this for meeeee!!!) will however import everything over. I've tried right clicking to open in a new tab/window, saving as, saving to different locations within the drive and saving to another drive. Nothing works. This has been going on for at least a month now. The tediousness has won. Any suggestions? 

     

    As an aside, opening my own saved builds works fine, *edit - but right clicking the icon on the toolbar to open a previous saved build, results in a stripped down build as well.

  4. Light concept character but dead set on the powersets. What I need help most on, is raising the s/l res to around 70% (if possible) and 10-15% energy res w/o the need for RoP. I'm okay if that's the way to go, but I'd prefer to not need it to cover the gaps. Hoarfrost used to have the PrvMd set in there, but switched it due the energy res in the UnbrGd set. Just an FYI, I took an Invuln/TW build from this page and tweaked it best I could but it seems lackluster.

    There's so much in game ideas already here. The potential is limitless! Honestly, and I know this probably isn't a popular opinion, but the seasonal events needs an overhaul. Instead of more, new content, focus could be put into these events. A TF/SF/trial for each event (Halloween and Christmas) would be a welcome change. The lore is there. We have, in game, a lot of what is needed for the stories to be told. I can't remember if the BBNY mission is a TF or a trial, but if it is, that could also be overhauled. Wishful thinking I know. But a wish nonetheless!

  6. I wish this event/season had it's own enhancement sets like the winter and summer event do. Imagine a proc allowing you to summon bats, ravens, werewolves, zombies, etc. Or another proc giving you a chance to shape change into one of them with a few of their powers? Next year maybe?

    if it gives you any ideas, its hard to play and find a niche compared to my Dark/Ice and Dark/Psi dominators.  ITs more melee orientated, just can't get it to work.  Have keybinds for Dom/Hasten, the buffs are bound for quick activation, the Living Shadow/Fearsome Stare are same range but Unkindness is half that.  The heal doesn't do jack in combat if tohit check cascades down.  Hibernate gives more hitpoints, but it also lets Hellions work on their damage dealt badges.

    I'm not building around Unkidness per se, but it was the power that sealed the deal for me. I understand it's limitations and am okay with that. It's just one part of the thematic tone. Bugs, spiders and birds are all important in this theme. I too have a Dark/Savage and it is a very busy combo but I seem to have fallen into a style I guess.

    Need help fine tuning narrow concept build. Build at bottom.

     

    I've had this character concept for a long time. Dating back to live. Nothing but Mind/, felt right. But the secondary always alluded me. Until Savage came along. Specifically, obviously, Unkindness. Here's the concept...

     

    Edgar Allen Poe is aware of me and the fact that I've resurrected him to be controlled by me to play in this game. And he's down for it.

     

    The build I have constructed isn't really flashy. My primary goal was to get close to soft capped or above, for ranged. There aren't any melee powers at all (not even feral charge). The build is okay at a few things but not great at any save for the ranged defense. There are definite problems/holes even for a concept build. Some powers have only one slot where at least 2-3 would be infinitely better. Recharge is meh. Could use a bit more. Recovery is an issue I foresee being my biggest concern pre-incarnate. I think of my endurance as if it is Edgar's ink with which he writes his stories with. If I run out, so does he. Aside from the base and P2W buffs, this may hurt bad for a bit.

     

    I'm pretty good at managing my end in game, but there are times when scrapperlock takes over and I forget about my end. Some of the powers I've taken may not directly relate to EAP (his in game name), but, the over arching dark nature of the man (or the powers themselves,) made the choices easy. Such as the pets being spiders. I've tried to stay within my conceptual construct which I realize makes the help that may be given, limited. But, considering my fondness for this sane madman, I'm asking for a bit of help. Here's the current wop build.

  9. Any chance that you enter a mission and start killing before they do? Sometimes there is a delay in earned kill rewards if this occurs. Not a real significant amount unless this happens every mission.

  10. So, here's an updated version of the "non-farmer farmer" build and I gotta say, I'm very pleased. I believe when I first started the briggs tunnel map, it took me close to 25 minutes to complete with about 2-3 deaths if not more. With this new build and all incarnates up to at least tier 3, I clear the map in less then 15 minutes with zero deaths. Still need a few things though, but with the speed at which I'm vet leveling, they should come soon enough. My "farming" trips fire sent is nearing completion (just a few more recharge sets) and my rad/fire brute is up to lvl 37. Hopefully, in about 2-3 weeks, the brute will be ready.

    You can certainly farm with a Sentinel (you can farm with anything, really!) but if you're looking to level up alts using a second account, a small investment in time to level a "proper" farmer will save you a LOT of time down the road. 

     

    YMMV, but my preferred vehicle is a Rad/Fire Brute; short attack chain with damage toggles on both sides, damage amps on both sides, PBAoE bombs on both sides, periodic heals from both sides, and easy to soft-cap for Melee Def as well as Smashing/Lethal/Fire Damage Resistance. 

     

    The heals and Def/Res points are very important, because A) being capped for Melee defense and the three most common damage types opens up a LOT of farming options, and B) having access to a steady stream of heals-on-demand means you can devote your entire inspiration tray to reds.... which brings me to why I prefer Brutes over Scrappers and Tanks...

     

    Scrappers have higher base damage and higher burst damage than a Brute but in a cave surrounded by dozens of angry jerks, that extra 15% of resistance is HUGE... time spent actively trying to survive is time NOT spent actively killing stuff and all the DPS in the world is of no use when you're making green numbers instead of orange.  Besides, farming is about efficiency, and hitting a 900HP nerd for 1600 damage with a Scrapper makes that nerd just as dead as hitting it for 1200 with a Brute would... except the Brute only has to pause once - maybe - in a cave map to fire off a survival power, whereas the Scrapper will invariably be watching cooldown timers with a little anxiety in every mob.

     

    Tanks have more survivability built-in than a Brute does, but the survivability is a wash in a cave where only 5% of the attacks hit you and only 10% of that damage gets through; Tank AoEs are larger and hit more targets than a Brute, but as gauche as it is to paraphrase Star Wars in the same thread twice "The ability to hit more minions with an AoE pales in comparison with the ability to live at the Damage Cap and obliterate those minions in one shot, lieutenants in two, and any bosses that follow you to the next group die in the crossfire without your ever targeting them once."

     

    Too often people live in their spreadsheets and Pylon threads to accept the fact that you don't need MAX DAMAGE or parlor tricks in a cave, you need a metronomic damage engine that offers predictable performance from the first mob to the last.   That can come from anywhere, but for my money, nothing does it better than a Rad/Fire Brute.

    I have a rad/fire brute that I am farming up with my sent. Once he gets up to snuff, then he will become my farmer but until then, I'm just going with what I think is the best farmer on my roster of 50's. Once I get all the enh for the "farmer" version of this sent, then I suspect clear times will improve. I know he's not going to break any records or clear even respectable times, but, even w/o the farmer build, and at +1/6 with orange EB's, I'm very pleased with how things are going. I'm in no rush to "have this now" but I do want it soonish and I think the pace I'm at is working for me. I greatly appreciate the feedback from everyone and hope the brain picking doesn't end here. As I said at the outset, I'm new to farming and so, I'm sorta clueless with the nuances and such. Thanks again for the feedback

  13. Yah, it's not easy for sure, but, I just created a second account for a farmer to level up my 100+ alts and looking at all my 50's on this account, this one seems to be the most farm friendly. But I don't really know. I participate in farms from time to time, but never had a farmer. I've done about a dozen with him, but it's madness trying to keep the mobs close together with my current build. I've made a second build but would like some feedback on how it looks. But I thought I'd ask if this page was acceptable to post these kinds of questions here first before just posting.
