A few minutes prior to loading up the launcher, I cleaned out my computer, took out the ram stick and put it back in. Just checked the gfx card for proper seating and it looks good. Before clicking the play button on the launcher, everything is normal. After,
and only during CoH, my screen turns green. Any ideas?Edit: Just had the same thing happen to Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition but only after auto config the gfx card.

Torchbearer too it seems. These two are grayed out for me but the other three aren't.

I too am attempting to make one work, but I keep getting this error message: You have entered an incorrect passcode for The Biscotti Syndicate. This is what the macro text that I currently have - /macro_image "Apparitions_Attract" "Teleport: Upsairs Storage Lift" "enterbasefrompasscode USL-1031" What am I dong wrong? Aside from the image, name and numbers, all else appears to look the same from what has been shown in this post.

I have a little progress on this badge but I can't find any of these, I have been in the undergrounds of praetoria and all I have seen that look close to these are 'ghouls' for which I have that badge. No info on them via wiki https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Failed_Experiments#Background
Thanks
I know this is an oldish post and you've already completed this badge (maybe others are like me were wondering how to get this) but you can farm this badge in the first mission from the contact IVy in Neutropolis. That's how I just got mine.

so you got it working ?
Not yet. I was in the Hami raids and then my daughter woke up.

That being said, in your first post you seem to be able to open the mids file just fine, it just breaks because you don't have the latest version so you must have it installed somewhere on your computer, you need to find where mids is installed and copy/paste the source code.zip from the mids reborn unofficial site on top of where you installed Mids Reborn.
That folder on your quick bar called "Hero and Villians builds" looks mighty suspicious
If all else fails and you can't find it, just get a fresh install of Mids, again from the Mids Reborn thread in my previous post, you can use this link here to download a preinstalled version of Mids that you can just drop somewhere on your computer and use that to upgrade to Mids Unofficial. Once you Open Zip Archive (Main) you will see the file structure looks almost exactly the same as in one of my screenshots earlier in the thread, the "Paste Folder Contents Here" image
@dinatar Sorry for hijacking your thread bro, you builds look super sick 😃
Doh! I thought you were the OP. Sorry as well @dinatar. Thanks for you help @Seigmoraig!

It pretty simple to install, the install instructions are here:
It is very easy, I agree. But it just won't work for me. People helped me on another thread as well but I just couldn't get it to work. To my knowledge, I did everything right but never got it to work. But, I'll try here again. With the link you provided, do I click on the green "clone or download" tab or one of the other links in the main body?

That's mids being mids, you have to open the file from the program to get it properly
That's because you don't have the latest version of mids with the new powerpool. Mids is no longer actively worked on by Mid and has been taken over by another team:
Figures that's the reason. I've tried many, many, many times to get the new build version that you've linked, to work, but it never has. I don't know why it won't download or install or load properly and it drives me nuts. Anyways, thanks for the reply. -
Just started my own crab and come to see some builds but when I open yours up I get this error message: Failed to load powerset by name:Pool.Experimentation at 4. Any idea why? Edit: It also loads up the last build that I made.

No, don't delete the builds. They should be fine.
Be sure to install to a place that isn't Program Files or Documents or the like. Install to something like c:/games to avoid Windows access issues.
After downloading the first archive (in D:\Games) under "assets," I assume this means the very first file, the MRBU file, I get this error message, "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default apps settings page." I've uninstalled every file to the best of my knowledge but something is still not clicking. I uninstalled mids yesterday and this morning, reinstalling both times. Followed all the steps, again to the best of my knowledge extracting only the data and image files but I am apparently screwing something up somewhere. This seems so damned simple and yet it is frustrating the hell out of me.

@Echo Night, I'm going to assume you have Windows. If so, you should be able to follow the process I laid out for @SuperFerret to remove and reinstall Mids Reborn with Mids Reborn Unofficial clean. Here are the download links followed by my reinstall process. Follow my process and use the links and info and you should get it fixed!
Mids Reborn links
Mids Reborn Unofficial links and process
Jacke's remove and reinstall process
Thanks for the response. I've done all this but for the sake of hope, I'll do it again. Now, before I do this however, do I have to delete all the builds from the previous versions or is it okay to keep them? Will they convert over to the new version?

I can't help you with the error, but I can at least answer some of the rest.
There is no mids.exe to install. This is only data and image updates, not a full replacement.
I recommend not extracting in the \Mid's folder directly - extract temporarily in Downloads or something. Then merge things by hand - make sure the Data information goes into the \Mids\Data folder (basically, just drag and drop the extracted Data into \Mids and let it combine with the existing Data folder ), and the Images goes into the Images folder (same thing as Data). When you combine them, you should get notifications of name conflicts - accept the overwrite to put the new information in.
The z-patch.rtf you can just read and decide what you want to do with it, and the README goes into the \Mids folder (I still don't think I've read it yet) if you want to - clean install suggestion is don't extract those.
Although the install notes say to extract the file into the Mids install folder, and in theory that should work, depending on how you have your extractor program set up, you could accidentally make a subdirectory in Data or Images, or not have overwrites happen and be missing some info. If you're having a problem after installing directly into the \Mids folder, make sure you don't have a \Data\Data or \Images\Images. If you don't, or if you clean it up and still have problems, I suggest (another) clean install of the most recent, base Mid's and the extraction as above.
Hopefully someone can give you more direct information on that error.
I did as recommended but still can't get it working. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Thank you for your input, reply and help.

I need some help. For the life of me, I can't get the newest version (March 26th) to either install and open, or just to open to the newest version. I currently have the v2.6.0.7 Version 19.1021. I've downloaded and extracted the github file under "assets" into the mids folder, but when I open up the extracted file, I don't see the mids.exe file to install. I've been trying to figure this out off and on for about 2 weeks now hoping that I'll stumble upon a solution but to no avail. What am I missing?
I see the .github, data and images files. .gitignore, README.md and z-patch.rtf are also there. Checked for updates on my current version and it says there are no new updates. Opening up a new version build from one of the AT forums prompts me with this boxed error message: "ReadSaveData Failed Error reading some power save data, will attempt to build character with known data - Unable to read beyond the end of the stream." Then it opens up (the 19.1021 version) with the power slots empty. Clean slate. I'm on pc, Windows 10, 64 bit.

The IO from Overwhelming Force isn't clear. What it does is the following when slotted in a power:
1: It boosts Damage (which is why you want to slot it).
2: IF the power normally does NOT cause Knockback/down, it then gives it a 20% chance to do Knockdown.
3: IF the power normally DOES cause Knockback, it converts it to Knockdown. If the power does Knockdown, it doesn't have an effect.
Oh wow. This is gonna force me to re-evaluate my PB. I actually hadn't read all the info on the enh, just (thought I) saw it was a dmg/kb-kd enh.

I actually ran Mind/Storm as my main on live as wel. It’s a fun combo!
You've skipped the confuses, any particular reason why? Mass Confuse is a great power, and with contagious confusion even better. The epic confuse set also gives +5% ranged defence and +10% recharge, so it’s win win win.
Also I always found thunderclap a good power, with Mind/ lacking containment it was a handy way to build up containment on minions to sweep them aside with AoE. It’s a bit unconventional but it worked well. Especially with the huge radius of thunderclap (20 yards I think? Maybe even 25?) Also a decent mule for the epic stun set.I don’t think arcane bolt is necessary unless you really want it. Dominate/Levitate/Mesmerise can all be slotted as attacks and because they all do straight damage and not DoTs, like other sets, can be really effective. I usually slot Dominate with the epic smashing and negative damage procs from the hole and ranged damage set, to give it even more umph!
Freezing Rain you don’t need to slot the defence debuff unless you want the set bonuses. The baseline value is enough to help everyone’s accuracy. I had an Achilles heel -res proc in it in live which worked well, but not sure how effective it is now with PPM? Not tested. Otherwise 2x standard recharge is enough.
Hope that’s a good start. I will have try look into it in more detail later ☺️
I used to solo a lot on live and not taking the confuses seemed to be the easiest skips. I never really saw their benefit with a build as tight as this especially with a loss of xp if I didn't defeat the mob myself. On top of that, I used Terrify for group lockdown (I know it's just a cone, but I got really good at positioning) when TD was on cool down. Also, as mentioned, this build is extremely tight and I wouldn't know what to drop to pick those 2 up. Unless it's to drop TD and Terrify.
I do like Thunder Clap, but it was also a skippable power since it was only mag 2 stun and I valued other powers ahead of it. My play style is to be in between the ranged and melee players to try and get them the benefit of Steamy Mist and Hurricane. So taking the fighting pool and an epic/ancillary shield took precedence over TC and the confuses. And now with with the Sorcery Epic pool, RoP is a must for me. Again, in this instance, both TD and Terrify were used as my aoe lockdowns.
Arcane Bolt was only going to be used as a set mule as I don't like that power, but shortly after posting the op, I began tinkering on an update and got rid of it and 4 slotted RoP and added a 3rd slot to Hurricane for the Sudden Acceleration KD enh. Slotting Dominate w/o the dmg procs was a complete brain fart on my end and has been updated. I like umph.
Freezing Rain was slotted for the bonuses but that has also changed. Slotting it for end red is a must since, almost every mob group I will use that, Tornado and maybe Lightning Storm. That's a lot of burst end to use when solo and combine that with the toggles (Hurri is only used when a boss+ is in the group and even then it's highly situational depending on boss type) and the fast casting attack chain of Dom, Lev and Mes, end just doesn't seem to want to stick around very much and I'm sucking blues, using CP and waiting for CP to come back.
To Coyote's 3rd point, I'd rather have the guaranteed kd on the mobs that can be kd'd then the chance of one on those same mobs.
So with the input I've been given, I've updated the op build and made another one with the confuse changes.

Hello all. My next char in the shoot is an old live build but I want to crank the luster up a bit. Could someone please put some eyes on this and see if I might've missed something? The goals are pretty standard. Low end cost. Decent recharge (perma hasten isn't a necessity since storm has such high end costs) and decent defense. Good solo viability and good team play.

Could be fun!
You could write a full package deal, and offer it to the Devs too. Do such things as create the captain and first officer in AE, save the files, go in to Striga and jot down some /loc spots for spawn locations, write some content for it, and then package it all up and send it to the various Community Reps here on the forums. The less work the Devs have to do themselves, the more likely they are to implement it, I'd imagine.AE isn't something I've ever really gotten into, not even the farming or being farmed aspect of it. But, if that's what it would take to get this moving, I could get my hands dirty.

I've long been trying to make a character based off of the ghost ship that appears in Independence Port and Talos Island. I finally did by taking the name of the only "survivor" of the ship, Ryan Mallory (I hope this is okay?) When writing his back story, I got to thinking. Why isn't this an event? It could easily be made into one based off of the story presented here. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Times/20041201
You've got the AV in Captain Kale, the ship itself or FO Dole (maybe an EB.) You have the minions in the crew and even have the boss and lieut level mobs in the 30 "special" passengers. This would have to be taken out of IP since there is already an event there. Move it to Striga Isle (while also keeping the roaming version in Talos?) where the wreckage was found. You can even make this a rareish "tip" triggered mission event by doing missions in Talos or Striga. This would also be the perfect time to introduce actual underwater travel and combat. Once the event notification is given, players have a specific time to get to Striga and locate the ship, go 168 feet below the water line and destroy the ship (while it's being defended by Captain Kale, the ghosts and maybe aquatic life deranged from being so close to the ship) before it can surface for badges, loot w/e. Let it rise for more badges (AV kills, mob kills etc.) So that the event isn't over and done within 5 minutes, let it phase out and then back again in a different but close location once a certain threshold of damage is taken similar to Lusca.
The fact that the ship spawns and spits out ghosts along it's path surely justifies this as "event" level of the coolest factor. The lore that surrounds it needs to be expanded upon. What really was the cause for its disappearance and sinking? Was Captain Kale in with the mob? Who where the special passengers and what was the cargo Moraine was carrying? Why didn't either Captain Kale or FO Dole make a sailing plan? Why wasn't the cargo manifest inspected? So many questions that I really hope have not been answered yet because then I would have a sad face.
Thoughts?

There is also one in Imperial City. That's where I've gone to change mine since I didn't know about the others.

On the character I'm currently leveling (Hollows Darkborn,) he is a demon with his normal costume and then the rest are victims he has possessed through out his lifetime which spans centuries.

Updated proposed build.
Was able to get more defense to bring melee and ranged up over 20% and Aoe near 20% with Link Minds perma. I found myself not using Posses anymore so I dropped it in favour of Maneuvers. Got a bit more recharge to help get Spot Prey perma as well as hasten if only just. With Agility fully fleshed out, they both easily become perma. Heart of Darkness and Haunt are also perma but barely.
So far I have a complete Heca set, 2 pieces from Armageddon, a full set of Call to Arms in Umbra, 3 of 4 pieces in Fearsome Stare and a bunch of the solo pieces for sustain and recharge. I took Cassandra Goth's advice and slotted the chance for hold proc in Feral Charge and she's right. It is beautiful. Really helps hold down those pesky DA bosses when combined with Grasp and Shadow Field as those basty's are at time's, tough. Also, the recharge procs are firing off pretty regularly, which is another boon.
Even w/o all the sets, the build is just wrecking things and fun to play. I won't say I don't die, because I do. But I'm discovering that that's usually because I get into full on domination mode and don't pay attention to my health. Edgar (my Umbra Beast) can also hold his own and even with multiple enemies.

Longish reply.
TLDR: Cap sucks, but is needed. This is the End Game baby!
So, the way I see it is, you're going to have three main types of people looking at this from their own perspectives. The first type is those that have their main and a few, maybe all of their alts fully geared out due in part because of how the raid was handled the last few months. The second type have at least their main geared up and don't really care. The third type (which is where I lie) don't have any of their chars to include their main, geared out at all. This could be for various reasons. Altitis for me, only back for a short time and a little one. I've only been back for a little over a month, maybe 45 days and roughly around the time that the game came back, my daughter was born. I'm a single father of four, so you can imagine where the bulk of my time gets spent. I had no idea that this game was back until I read a post over in DCUO that it was indeed back. I didn't hesitate and dropped the cash grab DCUO like it was a bad habit. It was. Well, so is this game, but it's a bad habit that I love. Btw, I'm not blaming anyone for my lack of 50's or pointing fingers or even suggesting any sort of compensation for my loss of time. I'm just laying out my facts and presenting them in a way that you may understand. Again, no blaming. Not blaming...
Within the last few days, I finally got my first 50, ran a hami (at level 49) and was disappointed with how quick and easy it was to take down. No mito phase, no need for an hours long wait and relatively no pre-planning. Some of the things that made a hami raid great, for me at least. I arrived an hour before hami-time. This is the part I don't like. I didn't know that there wasn't a zone cap so like live before, I was there an hour before I thought the raid would commence, just so I could be one of the 50 lucky ones. I hate having to stand around for an hour (when I could be earning) waiting for the raid to begin. The only thing that makes the wait worth while in the slightest, is the other players in the game. Seeing names I haven't seen in years is great and all, but not worth an hour long wait.
Sure, some people will say that I don't have to run the raid, but, I want to run the raid. It's fun when it finally gets going. But the cap always bothered me. I remember many a time where even an hour before the start time, not being able to get in. So, I'd stay at the door with a few others and move back and forth endlessly, hoping that I'd get lucky and get in. This sucked. That also meant that some poor unfortunate soul, dc'd and most likely wouldn't get back in because of the cap.
But here's the rub. I understand the need for a cap. This is end game stuff and it's not supposed to be "easy" or over and done with within 15 seconds or 45 seconds if run thrice. Ask the Avengers if End Game was easy. Black Widow and Iron Man died for Pete's sake! It should take time to plan and it should take some effort to complete. For me, running one raid before the cap was put back in place (literally the next day) was a bit of a downer until my noodle remembered that there are so many other ways to earn merits that don't involve a one hour wait. One hour of play time, sure. But that's infinitely better than not earning anything at all for one hour. Also, and I know that this will not be a popular suggestion, but maybe the devs should look into eliminating incarnate powers during the raid. We successfully completed it hundreds, thousands of times before incarnates, so why is there a need for them now? Hami hasn't evolved to a higher power since sun set low those many years ago, so why the need? Make Hami Great Again I say!

Hi and thank you for your response.
-No Notification sound can be heard when starting the game, however, I just restarted my computer again and heard an audible chime followed by a popping sound.
- I re-installed the driver after the green screen happened to see if that would fix it but it did not and the option to rollback is not selectable. It's there, but I can't click it. Maybe un-install, re-install?
- I don't see either the DPI or refresh option from the list of of available entries for my gfx card which is Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070. Restoring to default status didn't work.
- No hardware issues took place at that time or since.
