@TrixieKixx, For the Abandoned Sewer Trial, I changed my toon to ranged so she could have dragon wings.... because I remembered how much I loved "Advanced D&D: Cloudy Mountain" for Intellivision II when I was in college (mid '80s), so I made a dragon named Cloudy Mountain - Water/Pain Corruptor I may be able to meet up at our 11:45 EDT gathering time for pictures and possibly start the trial, and then play as far into as I can before I have to leave.

Woohoo..... I sense a Themer Meetup could become of this 😄 I have not been to Germany since 1987! When the wall was still up dividing West and East! I do have a trip planned in 2025 to Leeds Castle in England for my nephew's wedding, and after that I will take off on adventures still unknown. I'll have to check what month that is. But that's 2025. Hopefully we can do Themer Meetup #3 in 2024 somewhere, somehow. My high school friend lives in Palm Springs and we're thinking of doing an Alaskan cruise for our 60th birthdays next year!

Fun theme! Nothing pops right into my head for character. In the '90s I played FPSs like Wolfenstein, Doom, Heretic. All the Sierra adventure games, Kings Quest, Space Quest, etc. Oh and Leisure Suit Larry?! Side-scrolling 2D games like Commander Keen and Duke Nukem. No female icons there, but I'll come up with something. 😄 The character I want to bring is Crystal Moonstone - Stone/Stone Scrapper. Have fun, Themers..... Last day of Halloween event if you want to scoop up any last-minute badges/rewards! Here is a scary costume to get you in the mood. 😄

Ice Mistral SF - "It's raining cats and dogs" - Any AT Saturday, 10/28/2023 We had 4 who signed up and 4 who arrived (the same four 😉) Cel shading on this time for a more cartoony feel 😄 Fill-in leader, @FrauleinMental presented as the fierce feline stalker, Liminal Pain @Burnt Umber's Pepsis Regina, a tragic little wolf monster who packs a major domination Lone Wolfette, rarely-played stalker by @Midnyte (My only claws character. Created for a cat theme a while ago. Repurposed into a wolf for this. I'm just not diggin' the stalker AT. I've always had trouble enjoying the playstyle. So I may roll a claws scrapper and see how I like the powerset on an AT that I already know I like. I have never leveled claws high enough to know if it's enjoyable at 50 and beyond) A feline shapeshifting witch who masters over fierce beasts, Wyldebeasts Witch, mastermind by @Bananiac Awaiting the beastly witch Umber and I kept ourselves amused by exchanging holiday gifts The kitties and puppies are becoming more beastly... ... and sleepy She has arrived! All the beasts have gathered And now the fun begins 😄 We found the famous hole! Comic rendering looks pretty cool here as we leap into the hole together. Zoom in on the Witch's wolves 😂 Their teeny figures are adorable! Beautiful, but deadly We are familiar with rushing Mage Archus on this SF... but that's when we're 6 or 8 strong. We were four, but we were mighty and only team-wiped once! When he did the mid-battle summoning. Liminal Pain summoned her spider friend to help us out. Oh, and don't you love that shot of Witch's, Wylde Vinja... love that pose! And here comes the white one, Wylde Verissa, again with the howling. 😄 Oh my, I just love it. See what I mean, that Wylde Verissa.... she's a troublemaker! But she does good work. 😄 We did really well for a small team with such limited variety of archetypes. It was positively beastly in all ways. Including Ban's dark heal that saved my ass more than a few times! ~The End~

Halloween Event 2023 Saturday, 10/15/2023 We had a great showing for today's treat-filled adventures.... multiple runs of Dr. Kane's House of Horror, trick-or-treating in Kallisti Wharf, Eochai, Jack in Irons, and a banner event. Here is an array of some of the teams, costumes, characters, and fun that was had today (not to mention all the XP, rewards, and badges!). The total count of Dr. Kane runs was probably somewhere around 6, running two teams of four simultaneously. These are the three I participated in Theme Team MOTD for this week It wouldn't be Halloween without Mr. O'Hallows making his annual appearance, contest winner by @Bananiac Also in attendance today @Milrop, @Burnt Umber, @Jaxman100, @FrauleinMental, @Princess Cecilia, and a special appearance from @Glacier Peak! We've missed you, dude! Themer old favorite, Coffee Ring by @FrauleinMental In Dr. Kane's trial the first order of business is to deal with The Black Whip, then Experiment Number Nine, the timed 99 zombies, and finally The Abomination "Trick or Treat!" in Kallisti Wharf, league run efficiently by @Jaxman100 We were lucky enough to score a banner event @Glacier Peak and I thought this was a cool costume power.... only the upper half of the body (is this a faction in the game?) the sonic buff showed "legs" but without, it's completely legless and looked ever weirder with the void skiff! Everyone springs to action Frau Rammstein's powerset colors are theme-compliant 😄 We sent the zombies away... time to celebrate The whole team has gathered Onward to our first assignment from Dr. Quaterfield Frau Rammstein was apparently obsessed with shooting off fireworks.... 🤣 Fantastic! This is exactly the kind of info I was hoping for! Thank you for the great explanation. I know I've heard you mention that before but could never remember the details. I love the word "quaffable" ! Oans, zwoa, drei, g'suffa! The Sierra Nevada "Festbier" was very delicious! (Incidentally, I had always bought some Thelonious Monk beer on that shopping trip which was very good too. It gave me an idea for a symphony controller named "Thelonious Monkette" or maybe /Monkesse.... or some such female version of Monk.... I wish I'd thought of this for our clergy theme, I might have gotten some inspiration from naming my character Thelonious Nun 😆)

Sounds great! We'll go into it fully stocked with team transporters, mission transporters, assemble the team.... steamrolling the missions, oh and a relaxed mood so that we're prepared for the length of time. 🙂

All get the badge choice when a team does a tip mission together. I usually solo them at -1 diff, running to the very end boss, and just completing it. Since you have to run it so many times on each character. But hey, to soak up some XP it would be fun to run them as a team too! We'll throw that option into the mix on the date we do the Halloween theme, and then we can decide in the moment.

It's been so much fun! I've been doing the PI ToT league every night..... many new shinies for my characters. 😄 Even a successfully-run banner event, which is not so easy to get on Indom. And we even did a Kane trial one night. Thanks to @Milrop & Cece and all the others who are keeping Indom above water. 💜 Love this idea! Doing seasonal events together is my fave, because it's just all so... relevant. 😄 I agree, no costumes necessary for this, because we'll be switching into the costume powers for ToT to get tips, or for the badge in Dr. Kane's trial. I love this theme! So tempting to do a vampire with red blood splashing everywhere. And thanks for the suggestion to do ITF on 10/21. I'm going to gather up your ideas and make a list of October themes to post. Sounds great to me. I'll wait to see if others have some thoughts or preferences. I'll put in my vote for Ice Mistral, which I really like too. Later tonight, I'll make a separate post with all these delicious October theme ideas. @TrixieKixx will be so proud of us when she gets back from vacation!🤗

Thanks for the reminder about teleporters! And thanks for volunteering to our fearless leader. I mean, any of us can do it of course, without prior knowledge of the task at hand, but in my case I am always on the lookout for good picture opps, and being old and feeble-brained it's too much responsibility, especially because I'm usually still half asleep 😄 😄
