Tree of Thorns Respec #2 - Trepsarciel Costume theme - A favorite childhood toy Saturday, 3/25/2023 @FrauleinMental brought her toy blaster, Aluminium Patriot @TrixieKixx made a Barbie controller, Urban Fantasy @Burnt Umber made a Lego piece, Alichino, a wizard mastermind @Midnyte brought a brute, Kandy Kilowatt adorned in a Lite-Brite costume. Two actually! @drdread brought the dreaded Cabbage Patch Killer, warshade The old commercial jingle was stuck in my head all day... Barbie to the rescue when Lite-Brite went down! Next, we re-grouped to do Tree of Thorns Respec #3 - Ractespriel @TrixieKixx, love your action pose here! (I don't really know what I'm doing, nor do I want to know 😮 ) ~The End~

Aww, cute. I saw you're making Barbie. I loved my Barbies too. My sister and I had whole families using both the Barbies and the small Dawn dolls. They were the kids. LOL. There were also the Kelly dolls which I think were the teenagers! For this, I decided to do Lite Brite or Shrinky Dinks. So I am working on it. But the character du jour will be Kandy Kilowatt - Electric/Shield Brute. She hasn't done any of the respec trials yet, so whatever we do she'll stay for the duration.

Yes, exactly, which only makes it look more elegant. Okay, thanks for clarifying that. I'm in the costume creator now.... I want to take a look at those and see if I could be using them in some way.

Sparcetriel Respec Trial - Clown Costumes - Any AT Saturday, 3/18/2023 This was a fun and long-awaited theme. We'll have to do it again, or a variation of it, so that @TygerDarkstorm can have a makeup session, once she is gainfully employed in her new career! ☺️ I noticed that some of us went all-out jester, while others made more unique costumes. They all looked terrific! The sun was coming up in Nerva so the lighting was great for showing off all the colors. Clockwork Clown, a mastermind by @Bananiac. Really nice concept and color scheme. Dark Ambrosia, a controller by @TrixieKixx. I totally forgot about the clown face! Looks good. The always-classy & stylish Princess Grace, a controller by @FrauleinMental. Frau, this costume blew me away. I don't know if Grace Kelly would have worn that sexy corset in her day 😄 but I love your portrayal of her here. Oh, and I must mention how the collar and shoulders look together... fantastic! One question: what are those long white gloves? From this angle I can't identify them. They look great! Morning Frost, normally a beautiful and radiant kick-ass ice brute, donned a scary clown costume for this event. By @Midnyte. After seeing most of you in the jester collar, I can't believe I forgot about it! Those of you who used it really did a nice job. Alichino, a demonic mastermind by @Burnt Umber. Very nice look. Those boots are incredible! Very evil indeed. Tsoossudio, a blaster by @Tsoo Much (we're still trying to get his forum name) It's an exact replica of Ronald McDonald! ~The End~

Moonfire TF - Wolf Costumes - Any AT w/Claws Saturday, 3/4/2023 Not a huge turnout today, but Tsoo joined as our fifth. @TygerDarkstorm as Frostie Claws, a beautiful ice wolf tanker @TrixieKixx as herself, an elegant scrapper wolf with fuschia highlights @Midnyte as Forever Midnight, team photographer and red wolf night widow Our mystery friend "Tsoo" as Tsooriken @Jaxman100 as Timber Wolfe, the obvious pack leader "Say cheeeeeese....." I was so angry with myself! I had set my alarm for 11:20 EST and must've swiped the wrong direction for snooze! I woke up at 12:45 and scrambled to get my computer booted up, hoping to get in on the second run of Kal. When I arrived you were all there, but immediately dissolved before my eyes! Which means that you "entered Kal" right at that moment! Then I sent Trixie a tell and that's when I found out you had just started the second run. I was mad at myself but happy for you all that you got a full team. And then especially happy that you were willing to do a third run. 😄 😄 😄

I think the only true claws character I have is a stalker. I'm just not feelin' that AT much lately. So if I am allowed, I'll bring my Night Widow, Forever Midnight. If I magically get more leisure time this week, I may level up one of my baby claws (I have both brute and scrapper) sitting at level 1.

It was something about where some people could get triggered by the old text of "cutting yourself" to get the blood. 🙄 Though I forgot where I read that or who told me. I think this is the first year of the new text, so I'd say for the first 4 years of HC.

(I came here to say that I could help you get the Katie contact unlocked and wondering if that's what your message was in game today. It turns out I had minimized the game to open up my work programs to check some things and got totally distracted with work and had my game minimized still inside my mission, totally forgotten about, for hours! I didn't see your message until I decided to reboot my computer and was shutting down all the programs first! LOL. So anyway, maybe we can do that Sat night or Sunday from Ouro).

Very cool story! I love hearing about everyone's reasonings for AT choices and playstyle choices, etc. I knew about the toggle suspension but haven't even tried it yet on my WS but looking forward to it!

BTW.... Super Bowl Sunday.... nobody is online! LOL. I go through phases with sports and right now I'm in a no-sports phase. My sister told me how awful the half-time show was, so I don't even care!

I have never been comfortable with Kheldians. I was a CoV player back on live and only made heroes for Champion events and whatnot (Rich and I had functional SG bases on 4 servers, 2 villains and 2 heroes). So I am very familiar with building the VEATS, just not the EATs. 🤣 For the all-Kheldian Hess, I have 2 choices. A bi-form WS in her 20s, or a 50 PB that I got PLed a couple years ago and have never built. One thing I learned about Kheldians back on live is that I don't like all the different options of changing forms and whatnot during combat. I mean, I have read some very intricate attack chains that have you porting into the mobs in one form, quickly casting a power, and then quickly changing form to something else, blah blah. I don't have the patience for that. 😄 I also don't have the patience to try to handle the knockback on a team. I know it can be annoying for melee types or combo powersets if the player is careless about not using walls and corners for controlling the kb. I also get overwhelmed pretty quickly by having different power trays for the different forms. The WS is bi-form for simplicity's sake. I really like the tank form so switch between that and human. But again, she has never gotten out of her 20s. 😅 The 50 PB is all human right now just to try it out in its simplistic form. I may like playing her if it's not complicted. So for now, that is who I will bring to Hess next week. Working on her build right now. Crystal Moonbow - all human PB
