Positrons 1 and 2 - Famous Scientist Discoveries - Any AT Saturday, 9/30/2023 This was a really interesting and challenging theme. We had 6 players sign up, and 2 joined in the moment. Einstein-Automaton, brilliant controller by @Bananiac Crystal Moonstone, baby scrapper by @Midnyte @Burnt Umber brought tanker, Strata Smith It was fun doing geology research, eh? 🙂 Robt Hooke, brute and cleverly researched by @FrauleinMental Thanks for leading the TFs! Doc Braun, time defender (need it be said? 😄) by @Milrop @Princess Cecilia presented with Yavanna in a beautiful costume Dr Cherenkov by @Lividus Not sure of the exact spelling and it didn't appear as a game account name to tag here, but we're glad he joined us! Few Good Men joined us in the final moment before we began! It's always nice to have a "little green army man" on our team 😄 @Bananiac welcomes our recruit! Successful completion of Positron part 1, despite being a bit disorganized with the CoT ambushes 🙂 All in good fun! Positron part 2... the traditional Faultline donut poses 😄 I found this action by Dr. Z on Robt Hooke to be horrifying! ~The End~

Right! Crater Lake is one of the viewpoints I see mentioned a lot in my astronomy groups. Thanks for that, I'm putting it in my travel spreadsheet. 🤓

I was trying to plan for that, as well, and have been following the travel news and trips offered. I had hoped to view it in Albuquerque but then abandoned the idea because too much going on in my life for another trip out there so soon, plus it's the same weekend as the Balloon Fiesta. Where do you plan to view it?

@Bananiac, sounds great! You can be in charge of Dr. Q on 10/7 for your German flag theme. Thank you! @FrauleinMental, also sounds great! I'd appreciate it if you run the Positrons this weekend. Also thanks for the nice October list of possibilities and the research you did. More on that when the time comes. Halloween event should be starting soon so we can squeeze in some ToT together or some Dr. Kanes trials. Maybe hook up with the league at Bates Motel (or Motel 6 as some call it) in PI. Usually near the beginning of the event it's easy to get on the PI ToT league with all the methodic tping to the north islands for GMs, and if we're lucky, a banner event!

Thanks for the reminder! I posted the sign-up sheet, so that's done. Does anyone want to run the Posi 1 & 2 next week on 9/30? I am no expert on blue-side stuff, haha, but I don't mind taking a stab at it if no one else can do it. 😄 I'll decide who to bring, and update the sign-up sheet.

E.g. Albert Einstein - Gravity / Time Controller. Or a Cyborg with Stephen Hawking's head/brain-in-a-jar. You get the idea... Thank you, it was a challenge indeed. I tried many different patterns until I found the closest one. I had so many issues... my black leggings, grey sandals, silver duster... I got as close as I could. And I disagree on the winner .... I was thinking both of you excelled at finding costume pieces that exactly matched your IRL "characters" 😄 Even down to Trixie's green cashmere sweater 😍 Oh and your pecs and abs under your shirt! ooh la la! 😄

Thank you so much for posting these pictures, Trixie! I was so sick last weekend... it was one of those things where you feel so icky that you don't even care about contacting anyone you had plans with... UGH. Once I felt better the next day, I was SO mad at myself for missing it that I couldn't even bring myself to log into the game, or come here to the forums. LOL. And then being right in the path of Hurricane Idalia, plus trying to pack for a cruise Thursday and trying to keep up with Port Canaveral's closing and re-opening..... it's been a week! Everyone's beach attire looks great. I see that empty spot in the line-up..... was that for me? 😭 I'm sooooo sorry you all waited 10 minutes for me, although I appreciate you all very much. That is the thing I regretted the most is that I didn't notify you! But I wanted to show you the costume I made for Crystal Storme, because she was there with you in spirit! 😄 And I had fun making it. EDIT: Have fun this weekend! I'm going on a short 3-day cruise and not even taking my laptop (*gasp*) Be back on Sunday!

And with Cece we make four. Three beach babes and a hunk. 😄 I vote we still do a Theme Team event as planned. Try to recruit for the Sutter, but if no takers then we can choose something else. The WST is awesome every week, but I'm happy with any TF/SF or a necessary storyarc. I remember mentioning that I had a difficult mission to solo... can't remember off the top of my head but I'll see if it's in my notes.

I still have my costume file from 3 years ago named "undies".... 😄 I have sooo many characters to choose from with energy sets. I have several with either energy aura or energy melee. Sign me up! I'll take a look at who needs the badge and update you then. EDIT: I'll go with Midnight - Dark/Energy Sentinel I made her years ago and she just stagnated in the teen levels. Because I never liked her costume. So I stripped her down to undies, and well.... perfect timing! 🤣
