Tin Mage Mark II TF - Greek costume theme with only one AT of each type Saturday, 7/10/2021 Today's honored guest: And the badge today for "Sleeping on the Job" goes to..... From this point on in my screenshot folder, my UI is toggled off. I must've hit the key by mistake. So I didn't get the "TF Complete" shot. Hope someone else got it! Gotta love seeing all those holds on an AV I spotted my lore pet, the Cimeroran, "Ariadne", just standing around twiddling her Roman thumbs during combat! I put a stop to that!

I made one for Ocean Goddess. I had to take off her arm fins and leg fins, but what a fun opportunity for those seldom-used costume pieces. btw, I can't differentiate between Greek and Roman so hopefully they are synonymous for our purposes!

Good plan to start with one and then keep the second one optional for whoever wants to stay. I am thinking I will be one who stays 🙂 And yeah, when we ran this a couple months ago, one of the guests told us to defeat Bobcat first so that we would be more likely to defeat 40 of Neuron's clones for that Army of Neu badge. But somehow we wound up defeating Neuron first, so we got Kitty's Got Claws badge. That should definitely be what we strive towards this time, Kitty's Got Claws badge! If we don't get any of the other 3, that would be fun (and useful) to have. So Neuron first before Bobcat reaches 50% health. We can do it!

Yes, I wasn't questioning the term TinPex! I know what it means. What I was questioning is whether we are actually doing a TinPex, or just a "Tin"... LOL 🙂 I got it now.

In preparation for next week's Tin Mage, I gathered the potential badges we could earn. First, clarify if we are doing both Apex and Tin Mage TFs? During the TF today, @TygerDarkstorm referred to our event as "TinPex", leading me to believe we are doing both. But now I see on the theme list it only shows Tin Mage. I seem to remember the last time we ran this and had some guests along, one of them pointed out that it's a 2-part TF, so we did an impromptu run of the other one. Correct me if I'm wrong on that, you know, feeble-brain syndrome and all. 🙂 For the record, here are the badge possibilities for Tin Mage: Completing the TF grants the accomplishment badge Alpha Struck. There are 4 achievement badges we can earn during the TF, which would earn us the Master of Tin Mage TF badge: If anyone is familiar with some tips or tricks to achieve any of those, please give us a briefing. 🙂

I see we have 1 doggie and 4 kitties. 🙂 I have some emotes lined up for us to use for pictures. Or just to feel in character. These work well for cat characters: ;hiss ;growl ;crouch ;sniff For dogs: ;howl ;sniff I'm sure there are more that would work too but this is just a small list of what I was able to find.

All my 50s are my favorite ATs: brutes, sentinels, scrappers, SoA. I don't have any 50s of the squishy variety (thought some in their 40s now thanks to this group!). So I'll wait to see what others sign up with, and then choose.

P.S. This was extra challenging this week. First I had to make a cat costume, then I had to think like a cat and figure out what pieces I would use to make me look like I am a cat wearing a leather Batwoman costume. Fun stuff!

Really excited for the July themes... you are so creative, @TrixieKixx! I'm glad we are doing insect theme again because that was the one week I had to miss back in September if you can believe how long ago that was. I had made a bee costume for my fire sentinel but never got to use it. For the double Posi, I have a claws/regen stalker kitty named KittyKat who loves dressing up as Batwoman! 🦇 😹
