  1. To say I'm proud of my Stone Tank's R10 build is a bit of an understatement. I optimized the build to make non-granite play possible... and got a build that successfully duo'd a MoSTF run. So when a (newer) player had questions on a Stone tank with Stone Melee...
  2. That lecture was followed up with a caveating stream. Some of the top speedsters can take a long time to hone their craft, memorizing rooms, committing jump/run/flight paths to muscle memory, optimizing key strokes, to limiting command movements to maximize efficiency. You don't really have to do all that. This stream thus is about playing YOUR way. Something I really haven't done is shown the process of a leveling build, that is to say the powers and enhancements you'd select while PLAYING the game. Of course, a leveling build is the whole point of The Adventures of Rabbitanium and Pandamonium, so it hasn't gotten it's own break-out video. This stream also delves into some of the build design choices and why [Darkest Night] is such a desirable power on Tanks/Brutes:
  3. Another near hour long lecture trying to explain why Speeding a Task Force gives the speedsters MORE rewards than Defeating-Every-Enemy. This is mostly a reaction lecture generated after a particularly painful task force that included comments about removing Fast Snipe because it lowered their damage.
  4. Illusion / Empathy: Part 3. Taking a step back and looking over more of the tertiary options and how those options can change/influence a build:
  5. Illusion / Time Manipulation: Mind The Control Time
  6. Illusion / Empathy: Part 2. Because of course there's a part 2. In this case going over some Tertiary changes to optimize the build.
  7. Illusion / Empathy. I'm 99% certain this was a requested build. I don't have one. I haven't played one. It looks solid on paper though:
  8. Traps / Energy: Part 3 The Building Yes, I actually did make one.
  9. Energy / Traps: Not a Part 3! Or Is It? Flip this around, construct a Corruptor from a Defender build.
  10. Traps / Energy Part 2: Yeah. there's a part 2. And there's probably going to be parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 given my history of revising builds with new IO's.
  11. Traps/Energy. I can't remember if this one was a result of rolling dice, but I'm pretty sure it was. Surprisingly to me some tweaks later down the line and it isn't "that" bad to play.
  12. A really short video followed after a bug cropped up that locked players into the tutorial system. When a player had trouble figuring how to skip to the tutorial this stream shortly followed:
  13. This one was a fricking P.I.T.A. Drop.com had ran some Kinesis TKO 60% boards. I bought one, and then went out of my way to learn how to use it. Painful learning cliff aside, handicapping myself with a physical debuff might make this initial base building tutorial more useful to players who get to watch me NOT blow through something on raw muscle memory.
  14. A Hybrid Theory follows. This isn't about any explicit in-game content, or expected future content, but an exploration of addressing the non-edge-case-scenario generality that Corruptors are inferior to Defenders following the conversion of Negligence into Vigilance.
  15. The only purpose for the next stream... is that a popular Guide to Warshades is less useful than Flambeaux.
  16. Rule Breaker :: Rule Maker Part 2: Defense Bungalow. Nuke The Cottage. Build A Skyscraper. Another near 2 hour lecture on raw design.
  17. Rule Breaker :: Rule Maker Another near-on 2 hour lecture following up on Mastermind ReConstruction. Some of this is in fact a retread of previous information, and part of me is curious as to how many people can connect the dots on this one. This one is on Archetype ReConstruction:
  18. As referenced earlier, the streams listed here are not all of the streams I've done, nor a complete list of the videos. This stream centers around two characters created/constructed to simulate a worst case scenario for players entering CoH. E.G. no SG, no Influence Grant, no level pacting. Just "here's the game, there's nobody to help you, good luck." If you're new to the game the Adventures of Pandemonium and Rabbitanium are probably a good place to start for basic "getting started" info.
  19. I wasn't done steamrolling toes like Ching Lee going after Bureau of Ordinance. Next up was a full bore takedown of pretty much every single bit of misinformation posted on these forums concerning Masterminds: Basic Research. Paragon Wiki. It's not really that hard.
  20. Rule Breaker :: Rule Maker So You Want To Make Enhancements? This 2 hour plus lecture full of talking down, sandbagging, and more loaded insinuations than a Drunk Flambaeoux in Pocket D, was the result of the developers (here) issuing some travel enhancements for testing. When the enhancements were re-issued with zero changes the only response I could give was: Is This A Sick Joke? Look: if you're going to design thematic enhancements, questions need to be asked that neither Cryptic nor Paragon ever asked. Those questions have to start with the economical aspects of item/currency acquisition, THEN build into the logical extrapolation of how, when, and where the sets will eventually be used and/or obtained.
  21. Robotics / Force Field Mastermind: So You Don't Want To Do Anything At All? Well, Okay Then. Here's How you Do/Don't (do) It. Possibly the most boring non-interactive powerset combination possible. If you've got one, this is the build for you:
  22. This Kinetic Melee / Energy Aura centered stream was one of the first where I started paying attention to just how long I could ramble. After this I try and make an effort to keep streams under an hour... but shortly I'm about to break that self-imposed limit:
  23. Knowing Your Character Part 3: The Elec Blast / SR Sentinel stream.
  24. A Thunderstorm interrupted the previous stream, and this was (one of) the followup(s) to: Knowing Your Character
  25. Diving into the metadata side of things, a verbose exploration of constructing a character before playing a character.
