  2. Since a thread further down the list had a title indicating somebody thinking about a Water/Traps, here's the AR/Traps backported into Water. This was largely a cleaner backport, but it's probably not actually optimized for Water. If I were making this in-game I'd have probably put [Time Bomb] at level 50 and used the respec function to fill the slots out. [Tactics] probably would have slid down the 38 spot and [Maneuvers] going into level 28. Thus freeing up [Tidal Forces] to be taken at 24 while keeping the potential ranged defense soft-cap by Moonfire. Again, the only reason I didn't show this is that MRBU doesn't have an obvious method of showing slots placed during respec. So there's two builds here.   3. Backport from the AR/Traps build: Assuming Scaling values you'd still be into soft-caps to Ranged Defense as early as Moonfire TF. That being said, since I haven't figured out how to arbitrarily place slots in MRBU outside of actually making up the build in game, using /buildsave, and then importing the in-game-possible slotting back into the Designer, there's a metric ton of likely non-optimal level selections for powers.   6. I was recently (like last month) updating my Ninja-Blade/SR stalker to see if the recent enhancement and pool power additions could be used to improve her build. It's not a clean backport from Ninja-Blade into Claws, but the Claw/SR version still hits a ~122% base recharge, soft-caps to M/R/A, and ~23hp/s regeneration... before the heal-back procs are accounted for.   7. I feel I need to stress... this wasn't anything I had ever played. So the R2 was an attempt to optimize the build based on how the player who was looking for a build remembered playing their Live character. So there's probably significant room for improvement. That being said, the R2 hits the same high point as the Blaster takes. Soft-capped to Ranged Defense without Agility Incarnate and theoretically with scaling enhancements as early as a Citadel or Moonfire TF. Where it gets absolutely disgusting is that it reaches those numbers without [Force Field Generator]. With Agility and [FFG] in play this build is soft-capped to Incarnate S/L/E/N/R defenses.   10. The R2 build was optimized both on player feedback and the changes made to the AR/TA-R2 build. So ranged Soft-cap is available as soon as [Weave] is taken and assuming scaling enhancements are used on the IO's with Defense Debuffs. So you could shift around [Taser] or [Trip Mine] to have that Ranged Soft-Cap as early as Citadel. Below Citadel you'd start running into the TO/DO/SO value scaling, so even if you had Weave and Maneuvers on a Yin, I don't think you'd actually be into soft-cap. To fit the player concept this build went down the Experimentation pool, so a number of single slot powers that could be changed around if desired. This build doesn't reach any other defensive soft-caps. [Smoke Grenade] doesn't offer any compelling enhancement sets, and since this is on a blaster, the debuff value is junk to begin with. Sure, you could stack in (assuming it stacked), but really... by that time everything should already be a pile of melted slag. I did run up a version swapping [Eagle Eye] to Preemptive Optimization to boost the endurance recovery while keeping the ranged defense... but the top-level regen falls to ~30hp/s while the Recovery/Toggle reaches 4.83 eps / 1.78 eps.   13. This is kind of a tangential build. I never made an AR Blaster on the Live server as I loathed the hard-link to Devices for in-game performance. (Snipe+Targeting Drone). However, a returning player aware of my Steam Account did run an AR/Dev, and started pestering me about an optimized build. For something I never played. Well. Okay then. By this time I had run up an AR/SR sentinel, and at first glance that wasn't going to be a useful port. I had, however, ran up an Archery/Tactical, of which other players had commented was more a Blaster Devices set than actual devices. So I figured the easiest way into an AR/Dev was to port my Arch/TA to AR/TA, and then port from AR/TA to AR/Dev. Which is where this comes from. Now, since I haven't played this, and probably won't ever play it, I'm not going to claim this is an optimized build. You do, however, get outright soft-caps to Ranged Defense as early as KHTF. (assuming scaling enhancements used instead of boosted enhancements) You are within non-resisted debuff range of soft-caps to S/L on [Flash Arrow]. You do get [Upshot] coming back in a sub ~30s time-frame. With all Accolades up you can be pulling in ~40hp/s regen. So it looks solid, but I'm not sold on the endurance. Some of the Range Defense was reached using Numina's in [Eagle Eye]. However some powers, such as [Tough] and [Tactics] don't have a lot of endurance mitigation. So the Recovery/Toggle is 3.99 eps / 1.83 eps. I'm not entirely sure that with all toggles in-play that this is sustainable without using Support Hybrid Incarnate or Ageless Destiny Incarnate.   14. This variation is mostly because I know, I just KNOW, somebody is going to ask "Well why didn't you do THAT?" So here's a Version that drops [Combat Jumping] and [Rune of Protection] to pick up [Maneuvers] and [Tactics]. You lose a lot of Air Control and the Oh Kitty Litter button that leaves your character still playable and in the fight (which is why I detest PFF), but now your Proton Volley will be able to make full use of the Sniper Changes.   15. For starters: Where did you get those numbers? [Benumb] and [Infigidate] have 93.15% with [Kismet:Proc] in place. Those accuracy figures are also before the various defense debuff powers are calculated. [sleet] is a TAOE with a -30% defense debuff. [Whirlpool] does -10% defense debuff. -40% on-target Defense Debuff before any other powers are considered or calculated? How could you miss to begin with? Okay. Let's say you are up against Veng-Stacked Nemsis. At the level of recharge this build manages [Tidal Forces] has a ~30s recharge timer. So basically it recharges alongside [Benumb]'s ~30s recharge timer. [Heat Loss] has a 90s recharge timer, so lining it up with [Tidal Forces] isn't really a problem either. [Hydro Blast] is primarily a proc holder. You could replace it with pretty much anything that has a 6.5%+ recharge buff or better. E.g. swap it out to [Web Cocoon], maybe put in [Stealth] with a LoTG proc and put those 4 slots elsewhere. Maybe you could drop it and take [Focused Accuracy], and move the slots into [Sleet] for a Posi Blast if you really wanted to absolutely TOTALLY COMPLETELY SURE you have capped your ability to hit and aren't relying on in-built debuffs.   16. The Defender - FF - Rad - R2 build in the archive is serviceable. It got there though with a collection of powers I never actually used, and tended to chew through Endurance. Oh, and I didn't mitigate [Electron Haze]. While the R3 backport from a Cold/Water is superior at pretty much every point but recharge (125%->108%), I found myself making two choices I wasn't happy with as a leveling/TF build. First I found myself dropping [Recall Friend] since I ran out of places for powers I really wanted to have by Moonfire/Citadel/Renault, and I was going into Sorcery to pick up the Preventative Medicine set. Second, to free up some slots later in the build, the R3 wound up dropping X-Ray Beam in the low end and taking Personal Force Field to hold the Shield Wall: Proc. Assuming Scaling Values in play, this build should be in S/L/E soft-caps by 30. With Agility Incarnate in play the R3 will be into Incarnate Soft-Caps on S/L/E. At least on paper, this should be a more viable Force Field to take into I-trials.   20. Third Variation swaps [Fire Ball] and [Rain of Fire]. I'm not a fan of this approach solo since this will generate more [RUN LITTLE GIRL RUN] behavior. The Immobilize proc in Frozen Blast just doesn't immobilize reliably enough to counter-act the debuff effects. That said it is outright easier to set enemies up for a Resist-Debuff before unloading [Fire Sword Circle], [Burn], and [Inferno]. If you are teaming with somebody whose packing a mass immobilize out the gate this can be a great way to put down extra damage.   23. Bit of an organizational update. My "Main" computer has been dying for a while, and I wound up trying to manage builds on a low end Ryzen 3200 laptop. So now all the builds are organized into folders. Hopefully that might make navigation a lot easier, speed up searching for a build by AT and then power set, as well as better position the builds for ease of changing file storage solutions.
  24. The second of two recent build updates. My Plant/Dark was one of the final Live Server characters I made, dated 03/10/12. I worked on the Dark/Dark/Mace first, then backported into the Planet/Dark build. So the specs are about the same. S/L/E/N/R soft-caps. Small differences in overall slotting results in the Plant/Dark turning in E/N/R soft-caps without Agility.   25. One of two recently updated Dominator builds incoming. The Dark/Dark Dom was one of the few builds I tagged as Hold/Retired, and it's kind of always bugged me that I never made a build I was happy with. The original character had a creation date of 03/07/12, making her one of my final characters before Sunset. Compared to H2 the R3 build bumps from E/N/R with [Link Minds] to S/L/E/N/R defensive soft-caps with [Scorpion Shield]. [Dark Blast] picks up some slots, [Living Shadows] takes the +Damage proc, [Nightfall] gets slotted with Damage, and [Haunt] / [Umbra Beast] swap slots. So basically minor changes, but the new Artillery Set pays off opening up a path to more Soft-Caps.
