For some they slot 3 because its what they need, for others it kind of old habit. I have a number of three slot health, often because I am leveraging the recovery procs of Numina and Miracle plus the procs from Panacea. On my less endurance challenged I generally slot 1 (Panacea) or two throwing in a Numina proc. But yes, I also have some single slots. Its situational. Stamina I almost always 3 slot unless I have powers that are giving measurable recovery boost. That said its almost always 1 IO and a pair of Performance shifter with the proc and and EndMod. Sometimes when I have recovery powers I will instead two slot it and put power transfer in there for the heal proc.
What has changed since live and my widespread adoption of using Set IOs is when I place additional slots in health and/or stamina. Health never before 17 (earliest to slot Miracle) and third never before 27 (numina is 30). Stamina usually gets one at 17 and 1 at 19 for the perf shifter (if I am going there).

Yeah I had 3-slotted Bombardment in there with Accuracy (ACC/END/RECH and ACC/DAM/RECH) focus and the Proc plus the other 3 damage procs. I am slip sliding things around a bit with Geyser, Whitecap and Brine. I am gonna swap the three slots of Annihilation which includes the -Res Proc out of Whitecap and into Whirlpool then put the three-slot Bombardment from Whirlpool in Whitecap with the rest of the damage procs in there. An Achilles -Res also in one of the Whirlpool Slots. I will leave the Mistral proc there for now while I realign a slot to Brine adding the Essence damage proc. Some other minor tweaks unrelated to Whirlpool. Thanks all for the good feedback.

More Gun.
I play Blasters as a matter of majority, 13 with the next closest AT being 4 (Dom). I don't really have too many problems with being mezzed as a Blaster to where I am scrambling for a response; its part of being a Blaster. 2 BFs in the tray and some in E-Mail and we are good. Where I have heartburn is my other shooter types like my Corruptors and Defenders. There are always 3 BFs in the tray with them. Also I know my enemies so I know which are more mezzy and prepare accordingly.

So after all of these years I still struggle to grasp the whole pseudo pets blah blah blah some procs proc and some dont. That isnt the issue here, just a straight up yes or no question.
I have damage procs slotted in Whirlpool (4 - Positron, Mistral, Bombard and Javelin) I have not seen one hit. AT doesn't matter here. Yes or no, is this expected and should I strip and slot elsewhere.

Also, I concur with the compromise concept. Having both allows the powerlevelers to do their thing and the ones who don't want the hangers on to do their thing. Its mostly win-win.

All kidding aside its an Arachnos Soldier VEAT that eschews becoming a Crab or Bane and generally avoids their powers. In my case, the Violet Huntress hated the look of the crab arms and the mace sucks thematically for me. Still a solid character, lotta fun.

He's a hero of course. Got his powers form a magic sack of corn he got for saving a chunky elf. It gave him strength and speed and of course shiny teeth.

In Naval comms we called that dit checking. Their job was to correct watch and track the errors so that they could then advise what to correct before sending. High precedence traffic demanded this and it was a good thing. There are people that need exactly that. Some people deserve the ZBM-2 they are sent, especially when on an orderwire.

I have a lot of fun with my sonic/sonic Hard Melody, ran her to 50 pretty fast (no farms or other PL activities). Multiple Cones works great once you get in the groove and proc pretty well. I have zero complaints. Give it a spin, all the colors of the rainbow.
