  1. They are all fun.  I have a blast with my seismic Blaster and my Storm Blaster, Defender and Corruptor, and my two Marine Affinity and my ARS/ARS Dom.  All fun.

As for hokey?  Building up fury is Hokey, Building up Domination is Hokey, Combos on multiple melee attacks hokey

And of course POKEY is hokey.

Now a few of the new ones are a bit OP, but that is just my opinion.

  2. Up until about a week ago, KW was still butt crowded, zero ToT league availability problems, but not as much as it had been the first few weeks.  And that right there is the issue statement; first few weeks.  Many players have done what they needed to do, got their badges, got their aether, got their super fast levels so now there are just less players looking to ToT, which is why you have seen the return in volume of people doing content.  So as fewer ToTers are occurring, more are gravitating toward PI.  I mean last night there were three of them due to ToT volume.

Now with regards to the traditional spot in KW where ToT was happening, yes there were a number of ToT League leaders who moved it to a different location that while having fewer doors, was a more dense dogpile of people and I saw no diminishment of XP.  Furthermore that tight grouping resulted in the afk/sitters who had autofires on contributing more due to less movement away form said autofires. 🙂

  3. Yeah Clockwork and the Skulls Arc are my go to low two.

There is this one clockwork mission where they are literally saying "I hate <character>"  Makes me laugh every time.

The Lords of Death, if you do a little reading will find all three Cherno, Veles and Morina are Slavic dieties, from the Baltic region so every time Cherno does his speech to me I imagine Peter Stormare saying the words like Lev from Armageddon (yes I know he's Swedish).  "Now I am real Superadine manufacturer!"

A giant version of High_Beam, who is truly a monster for dissing candy corn. 😜

Look, I am sure there was a time, say in the 1920's that Candy Corn was considered good, I mean you could put sugar on just about anything back then and call it candy.  But in 1942 when FDR mandated that corrugated cardboard and pencil shavings be used for the war effort instead of for making candy corn, that was when it should have faded as a candy.  But then again that WAS the last time it was actually manufactured, they are still trying to get rid of the surplus.

I'm still at work, but was meandering around the Guild Wars 2 and saw a mention that CoH: Homecoming is now officially ok in the eyes of NCSoft. I hadn't tried any servers before because I didn't want to get invested in something that might just get yanked away again. I was heartbroken when NCSoft closed us down. I look forward to getting home and downloading the game again and trying to remake some of my old characters.

I just hope that my BFF Bobcat remembers me.

Why am I thinking of Lt. Savik when I see this character here.  Peak Kirstie Ally.

Ghu, I'm an old fart... I remember sticking phone headsets into 110 baud modems in the computer lab in college to connect to the timesharing system... and submitting card decks to run jobs on an IBM 1130. And the little pranks, like putting program cards with an 80-column-wide 'duplicate' field onto the program cylinders of the 029 keypunch machines and flip the 'program' switch up to catch the unobservant...

How many loops can you pop in your 512 cable?

  7. I have a DP/MC and a DP/Nin (as well as a DP/Rad a DP/EA Sent, a Time DP DEF) but focusing, MC and Nin both play well to the close up fast nature of DP.  Overall MC is far more stylistic and some great mitigation tools, but DP feels like its more damaging with the blade attacks.  Tricked out with Set IOs I have loads of fun with them both but again, MC comes out slightly ahead.

  8. Regarding inspirations I generally refer to their color alone except resurrection which are wakies.  Break Free regardless of tier is break free.

As for not using them.  Well the game is easier so there's that.  and a lot of sets are more powerful than they used to be or should be so there's that.  I almost always sell all orange, red, yellow inspirations, regardless of size.  generally maintain a lot of purple and green and for my endurance abusers blue.
