My Time/DP defender is one of my most survivable, hard hitting characters. I even have multiple builds.  Damage, Holds, and Slows

I didn't say they sucked, but I got no enjoyment from them so I shit canned them.  Everyone plays differently which is why this game is still fun.

Well, if you mean same primary and secondary, no. At least not yet.

Wait, did you mean same primary and secondary or just same of one either primary or secondary cause that's a whole different bag of chicken.

Because I have five DP of various flavors not including the two previously referenced same/same that went to bit bucket.  Similarly there are several other flavors of same but different.

  3. On live I actually created all characters in Galaxy, in large part due to the traffic in Atlas.  Funny now that I think about it.  On line I never once trained a hero with anyone other than BAB, Liberty, Blue, Valkyrie, Luminary and Castle.

  4. I too rarely have bad PUG experiences and if it wasn't for the fact that I have been on teams that included a Snarky and thus have seen him play, I would use Old Senior Chief Jensen's axiom of "shipmate, have you ever sat down and realized the problem is you?"  So that causes me to ponder the other possibilities.

  5. I have always advocated that Galaxy be brought back as a new hazard zone featuring high end Shivans and other existing enemy shennanigans.  Longbow's main HQ used to be there, so you know there is a metric ton of tech to scavenge (like stated in Faultline).

    Spoiler

Considering its destruction was the start of the Battalion story Arc, unless there is an intent for the HC devs to continue that thread without the planned power up and game change and CoH 2.0 stuff.

Then make it a Shivan driven hazard zone, story writing for actual arc missions wouldn't be too complex; hero find this missing super weapon before X, or I seriously need my autographed Jeff Smith baseball from my of apartment in Equinox.  Or there are refugees still trapped in the old Arena that was never used.

  6. I am in the camp of having Statesman remaining dead, nothing against him and certainly nothing against Jack.  My things is dead should be dead unless there is a really really super good reason.  The lame ass crap some comics pull to bring back characters that they capped then realized oops, the fans didn't like that just effs up legacies. Make new icons, elevate existing ones.  There are enough bad decisions out there in comics and in game with regards to story.

Psyche too, wearing those wretched platform boots, she deserved to die 🙂

Well, at least you didn't reach the dreaded levels of "Bah, humbug!"

So you're fine with endless repetitions of Maria Carey during the season?

Its not a bad song, I think its a great song actually but it has been so overplayed that it is now hated.  Therein lies the difference, the 12 Days (all versions in all dimensions) is a bad song and because it is so bad everyone keeps hoping that someone fill find a variant that tolerable.

Now could 101.7 the Breeze FM play Mariah's song a little less, sure.

    All hail the Bumble!

  8. I love the holidays, all of them but during Christmas, I cannot stand any variation of the 12 Days of Christmas.  Eff that song and its stupid variations.  Burn in a fire you annoying repetitious sad, loser song.  Traditional or not, it doesn't matter, muppet version, Jersey version, Bob and Doug McKenzie versions, all need to be destroyed.

    Seriously, eff that song.

Really, the hatred of a thousands super novas.

    Oh and Merry Holidays 🎅

Thirty years is usually when the "everything old is cool again" kicks in.  Just look at the wave of 1980s nostalgia that kicked in about a decade ago.

We're just holding down the fort until the new generation joins us at age 16.

Well the 80s was the last truly cool decade.
