Again back on live. I was in a PUG, doing some straightforward missions. Had a good afternoon playing. When we finished, team leader dropped a big bunch of SO enhancements on me. I was like, what? He said, just thanks for being a good team player and for an enjoyable session.

I tend to agree with this. I often feel safer soloing my Blasters as they have a few more control options in their armoury. If I over reach things on my Scrapper then the ONLY option is run away and rest.. The exception of course is Welsh Dragon, my Fire/Fire Blaster. Now THAT is seat of the pants CoH😂

Where do they announce the GM ones, for future reference?

One guy back in the day used the same character name (basically) on his every alt and archetype. They were all essentially the same 'character'but wearing different suits of power armour that gave different abilities. Basically like Tony Stark and all his various versions of the Iron Man Armour. ALL he changed each tme was the end of the name from say "MK I', to 'MK II' and so on. Quite clever in some ways.

Simple question. Is there an easy way for me to move inf from one of my alts to another one?

Back in my old days on Union there were Costume Comps all the time in Atlas Plaza, Practically one every night almost on weekends. I have seen a few "announced" while I have been back in game so clearly they still happen but not seen one actually run yet. How common are they now in the game and, where do they happen? I used to l9ve checking out entries and bios and stuff at them. Some real creative genius on show.

I did level up to 4 very quickly, facing that level which obviously helped by the end.

I have a Brute atm named Tinkerbile (The Pain Fairy).

Years ago there was a duo of a Stone Tank and a Kinetic (I think Controller). They called themselves Rock and Roll.

I Like some those, good job on them. Especially Lagrange.

Ah, sorry, mg confusion. The character ended up as an automaton Tesla built to guard the tower and as a prototype mechanical police man. A sort of Victorian tech "Robocop". On the security guard angle I ended up calling him "Warden Wardenclyffe'. I .like your Edison's Bane suggestion btw. VERY apt.☺👌

Ok. I am now genuinely wiping tears from my eyes. There are costumes in those pictures I had forgotten myself! THIS is what made (and STILL makes) CoH one of the coolest games ever.

Out of interest, the feature in character genetation thatballows younto check and reserve a name.....anyone know how long that reservation lasts? I would hope it's pretty short as otherwise, names might get checked, end up not used but still locked out when others might like them.

The name I figured would be a shoe in but, was taken was...Wardencyffe. For those who don't know the origin, it's the tower Nicola Tesla built to try and transmit wireless electricity. My respects to whoever did bag that name. I hope I run into you in game to see the character concept. I have no doubt it will be a cool one😁 With a bit of concept tweaking and, some more fexibility in my name sesrch, I still got a character I am happy with so, all worked out for me.

So, if you have any charges, a power that can use them will show a ring and, simply activating the power will add in the charges? This now seems straightforward. Many thanks folks.😁

Today I went with Water Blast for the first time on an alt. It's working ok so far, though obviously it's still very early days. But, (probably me being stupid) I can't seem to figure out how Tidal Power is used. I know certain powers allow you to build up charges of Tidal Power but, I can't seem to find where this is shown on screen or, how to actually expend them once I have some charges. Can someone help 'clear the waters'😉 on this for me?

I had the opposite earlier today. I had a character concept and a name in my head that I thought was so niche it was BOUND to be available. Nope.

I knew there was a hospital there now but, did not know about Return to Battle. As you suggest, I think the days of Taxibot in The Hollows have passed. 😢😢😢

The sense I got was that, EM would need so many things from the PowerBooks and ancilluaries to help it hat it would barely still be EM at all.
