It simply didn't work. While many claim it did not affect damage, I can attest it most certainly did. Worse, it felt very artificial and didn't play well; it wasn't fun. I'm very glad the GMs heeded the requests of the players and changed it back.

In playing it, I can testify that it was not. I really appreciate the GMs changing it back.

Honestly, I loathed this change. It made EC feel so watered down as to seem a completely different and not particularly useful power at all. Most important, it wasn't fun, any more. I am very grateful they changed it back, and I very much appreciate the GMs understanding and heeding the objections of those like myself who asked that it be restored.

So Eagle's Claw is not a cone attack, anymore? (Keeping track of stuff done in beta, reverted in live, etc makes my pinhead hurt) 🙂

Hiya, Admins: I've been trying to follow the whole thread to address my question specifically, but I guess I should just start a question of my own and ask right out: Has Martial Artist "Eagle's Claw" been restored to a single-target Melee attack? It say it has when I look at it in my main's "Manage" window, and I sure hope that's true, because it was dismal as a cone attack.

I enjoy playing pretty much every side in the game. I probably have a slightly different perspective than most folks because I drew comics in my youth, then I was an actor for years before becoming a full-time writer, so for me, characterization is everything; it’s at least as important to me as costume design and power selection. Every one of my characters has a bio, many of them get different accents on Discord when I play them (I always loved voiceover work!) and the only one who gets played 100% like myself is my main. So I’m free to be as noble or creepy, jaded or enthusiastic, heroic or villainous with them as fits their concepts because they are all separate roles in a big animated series. I guess you could say that the voices in my head have been very good to me over the years, and since I’m not inclined to publish a line of comics showcasing my creations, I sort of indulge them in CoH. And all that really matters to me is that I have the game back to do it. ❤️

Dear Admins: I'm on the Excelsior Server, and I'd like to plan on doing the Clockwork Paladin Event in Kings Row, but I am told it's pretty buggy and we need to ask you folks to set up a special zone to do it in. I honestly feel kind of guilty bugging you about this. So, full disclosure: I have a character who "collects" robot pets (a robots MM who unleashes metal terrorism on an unsuspecting world, blah, blah, blah...), so I use up the five Knights Errant every couple of weeks or so, if not sooner. Is there a regular schedule for this event, or are there plans to fix the bug? Perhaps we could earn the Knight Errant temporary power reward some other way? Anyway, thanks for your time, and for all you do for us! @DASHER

I'm sure this has been said before, but Body Armor desperately needs improving. It's currently the weakest buff of its kind in the Epic set. For those of us who don't care to hop between alignments, it would be nice if it was elevated to be more like a Resistance version of Scorpion's Shield. (LRM could use a bit of tweaking, as well; perhaps make it non-interruptible.) Thanks!

Did you play on Protector server, in a Supergroup called the Guardians? We were Dasher, Pele Winters, Deathrattle, Infuego, Fire Salamander, Flamestrike, Nuclear Nut, Traveller. Nature Lord, Kiley and several others.

I'm looking for a list of all the NPCs who spawn for Heroes and Villains when using the four different "Signature Summon" temporary powers one can buy from the Pay To Win vendor. I know they are Melee, Ranged, Support and Tank, but I don't know who shows up for Heroes and who shows up for villains. I'm playing two Robots Masterminds, one Hero and one Villain, and I'm hoping Siege/Citadel and/or Nightstar/Luminary are among the Signature Summonables to add to my crew. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I see a real problem with this as it further weakens Scrappers, especially as compared to Stalkers. With this change, my main, a Level 50 Scrapper, loses his Alpha Strike Single Target to a Cone; even if it does the same amount of damage, re-classifying it as a PBAoE means that, while my main is able to slot Hecatomb here and Armageddon in Dragon's Tail, any other Scrapper I get to 50 will only have Armageddon in one or the other. That's my practical objection to another loss of potential to Scrappers; Stalkers have been improved to the point where Scrappers are already taking a backseat, and MA Stalkers will still be able to slot Hecatomb and Armageddon, making Stalkers (once again) that much better and Scrappers that much weaker. And promising that my character who already has it won't be changed isn't the point; I'm not one of those "I got mine, screw everybody else" people, and I have more Scrappers in the pipeline. At this point, my only option is to spend everything on Buying Hecatombs and power-level my nascent Scrappers to 50. In conclusion: Eagle's Claw is not broken, Please do not "fix" it. Please don't do this.

Is there a way to place an AV - or anything else, for that matter - in a specific location on a map, beyond just "Any, Front, Middle or Back"? I'm trying to get a cultist summoning stuff on the rooftop of President Marchand's offices, and I can't get the Big Bad to spawn above the second floor. Thanks in advance!

I just used the Loyalists as Non-Combat captives and settled for no crowds, at least for now. At least it provided variety in them which I didn't have to craft on a per-unit basis, so that was very helpful, thanks!
