I really wish it were possible to move bases to different servers, or even duplicate them there in a single operation. It would help free up the congestion on Excelsior by allowing players to migrate if they found they preferred a roleplaying or PvP experience, but don't want to have to re-build vast, intricate bases. And to those who have dismissed my desire with the throwaway line "When you move, your house doesn't move with you", that one doesn't provide much comfort when you have over five SGs in coalition, and their bases consist of an extra-dimensional London club, a Trident ballistic missile submarine, two Zeppelins and a flying saucer. Oh, and in real life, I had a mobile home for a year! Just sayin'. 🙂

A way to make walls transparent, so windows or "viewscreens" look outside. Otherwise we have to move up above the base and build in the "ether". That's hard. 🙂

You are going to hate me for this, but I labored over that, too, until I realized I needed to rotate it like a second hand on a clock. I'm serious, it was weeks before I figured that out. Imma go stand in the corner, now.

I think one thing we all have to accept is that "roleplaying" is a term each of us defines for themselves. I play every one of my characters "in character", even falling back on my years in voice over, and my teammates (usually) enjoy it, though sometimes it even creeps out my wife how villainous my villains can be ('It's just acting, honey"... "Well stop being so good at it!" -- best review I ever got!). But I don't mind breaking character now and then and we're generally pretty casual about it. That said, I would like to ask: Which of the new Homecoming servers is the most dedicated to roleplaying? Is that "Everlasting"? Because I asked over there and got conflicting answers. I enjoy the server I'm on now and have great friends there, but I am looking for a slightly more "character immersive" experience. For example, I'd like to find or start a couple of themed SGs (standard uniforms, common SG background, etc.), like the one we had Back in the Days of Live, (Paragon City S.W.O.R.D.) but my current server seems more popular with "systems intensive" players. For example, I really enjoy designing AE missions, but nobody on my current server wants to use AE for anything but farming. Am I just dreaming, or is there a server/community in Homecoming that might find ideas like that interesting? Thanks in advance!

I still play Villains and Vigilantes (second edition) and I still love it. Virtually all of my CoH characters are based on characters I made for V&V, which in turn were based on comics I wrote, drew and published independently back in the 1980's. Bringing my V&V characters to life in CoH has been one of my greatest hobby joys.

"Dependable" This badge used to drop when you got 4 reward "tokens". Are those the same as Reward Merits, or should I be looking for something else Or has this badge been eliminated?

Hi, all: I installed Tequila on a gaming laptop running Windows 10 (despite specifically asking for 7, but that's another story) and downloaded all the files for the game. Now, every time I try to start the game, as soon as the "Loading" bar disappears, the CoH icon in the taskbar goes, too, and the game fails to load. I have re-validated the files multiple times. I have whitelisted the Tequila files in my anti-virus (Avast). I have turned off my anti-virus, and opened the shields. I have used the alternate manifest line provided above. I have re-validated the files after every one of these. I still cannot get the game to start, and I'd appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks in advance!
