  1. That’s right! Dark/Elec could function similarly to Dark/KM.
  2. I guess technically Bio Armor has synergy as well, since Generic Contamination does -dmg as well. @Xandyr and @Maelwys both know how to build that pretty well =P
  3. @Sir Myshkin has theorized a Shield/KM Tanker before. Not sure if he has ever done the build in practice though. I could see Ice/KM being good for similar reasons.
  4. I just wanted to say, this is one of the awesome parts about this game. Like, I would have never thought to play this combo in THAT way… and yet you did and made it effective. I just can imagine how awesome the toon must look hovering there dropping Guarded Spin on baddies haha
  5. Darkest Night could be a cool option… Bio has the endurance tools to deal with if. I think you’re right, might hold onto FA. As for IS, it DOES seem to proc well. I did drop a set in it, but might play around more with procs.
  6. This is beyond helpful, thanks!
  7. Thanks for this Maelwys! I do like how Serpent's reach kind of works as a quasi ranged attack. In your opinion, would you keep Innoc Strikes and have enough AOE with Guarded Spin and EOTS? Maybe grab an epic blast? Or do you feel Innoc adds enough value?
  8. This is a Bio/Staff I was working up. Seems like it should be pretty tough/adaptable 😛 Thanks for @Xandyr and @Onlyasandwich for giving me some ideas and letting me stand on their shoulders. Some thoughts: Wondering if I should drop an attack (Maybe Innoc Strikes?) to pick up an epic pool power, maybe Gloom or something like that. Could also just drop Focused Accuracy, not sure if is needed. If I drop FA, it can open up another epic pool (or maybe Combat Teleport?). Would love to hear your thoughts/any changes you might make! I’ve been messing around with what primary to pair with Staff. Bio seems to have a lot of synergy. Ricad Taranis - Tanker (Bio Armor - Staff Fighting).mbd
  9. Haha should have known! How do you like it compared to your Bio/Staff? I’m assuming sturdier (figuring your in offensive for Bio), but less damage overall. Although I’m sure Brimstone procs might help a bit in that department.
  10. Gonna look at a Stone/Staff to go along with your Bio/Staff? 😂
  11. I’ve been messing around with this combo on a Stalker and it is TOUGH. With it being that tough on a Stalker, I can only imagine how tough it would be on a Tanker.
  12. I could see Fire/StJ being strong for the same reasons as Rad/StJ! Paging @Sovera who I believe ran that combo a while back. While probably not his favorite pairing, I remember him saying it was fun!
  13. All the options so far are definitely top tier for being sturdy haha. SR/DM I assume would be great for the same reasons Invuln/Dark and Shield/Dark are. Dark Melee seems to be a top choice. One of my personal toughest ranks is Electric Armor/Dark Melee. Two heals and two end recovers make you keep going and going. Shout out to Staff Fighting as well, since it brings +Def, +Res and knockdowns to the equation. I have mine paired with Dark Armor and the thing is monstrously tanky. I could see it pairing well with any of the sets that bring their own heal, like Bio and Rad Armor.
  14. Only lv 16 so far, but I’m enjoying it! Street Justice is right up there with Staff Fighting for me as far as enjoyable melee sets go. While Staff has this nice flow to it… StJ just has that crunch. If you ever watched Daredevil on Netflix, it reminds me of that kind of fighting 😂 honestly, if it is lacking in one area, it’s AOE dmg… and Rad Armor really helps with that. So on paper it seems like it should be good! Definitely high in fun factor for me.
  15. You’re a Saint Only, this looks phenomenal haha.
  16. Bumping for you since you did mine 😂 @SomeGuy is the dude when it comes to Scrappers. I always heed his advice. @Linea has done some amazing things, and I always appreciate @Onlyasandwich’s thoughts.
  17. My vote would probably be either Kinetic Melee or Dark Melee. Probably paired up with either SR or Elec Armor. Although if you go Elec Armor, I'd recommend Tanker or Brute.
  18. This is brilliant, I appreciate it Only! Makes sense on the -res procs.
  19. I love it, and feel this is a marked improvement. Thanks for this! One question, it looks like you got rid of most of the -res procs. Do you feel like Rad Armor gets enough -res naturally that is better to just slot in damage procs instead?
  20. ONLY! This is all AWESOME feedback. I'm going to mess around with it in Mids in a bit. That was one of my gripes was Tough being overslotted, so that advice is particularly helpful. Also great call out on the Spinning Strike, going to change that KD proc as well.
  21. This is super helpful, thanks Zem! I might have to mess around with some of the sets. I DID proc out Rad Therapy and GZ, but perhaps I can just full set some of my attacks for more bonuses. For example, I put the Entomb proc in Crushing Uppercut for an additional +Absorb shield... but that might not really needed on Rad Armor. I could see it maybe making sense for like Shield/StJ, where it lacks a heal or absorb, but Rad Armor may just be fine without it. Combat Tele gives the +tohit as well, so even less hitting when matched up with Focused Accuracy! 😂
  22. Hey all! Have a concept for a Radiation Armor/Street Justice Tanker. I couldn't really find any combos of it on the forums, so I thought I'd try my hand at a build! Would love any thoughts/insights, as I haven't played a Rad/ Tanker before. Some notes: I took Laser Eye Beams and Combat Tele mostly for theme, but could be open to changing other pools. Not sure about incarnate choices. Have Musculature Radial, but perhaps Vigor is better? I didn't grab sweeping cross because I felt proc'd out Rad Therapy, GZ and Sweeping Strike (maybe Void as well) would be enough AOE. Could always grab it if needed! Not sure if the procs I put in RT and GZ are the best ones? Aegis Armor Prime - Tanker (Radiation Armor - Street Justice).mbd
  23. Love the concept. MA is awesome, but for this I'd probably go either Claws or StJ. Claws brings sort of the "feral" feeling you can get from Guyver going beserker mode and the ranged attacks (I think they can shoot lasers as well, so maybe laser eye beams?). StJ has that BONE breaking feeling to it, which I think could be awesome. I don't know if anyone else has done it, but I hear StJ really shines on stalkers as well... althought you miss out on Rib Cracker. I LOVE that animation.
  24. Was just messing around with mids and this is what I came up with. Honestly, I've never played Stone Melee, so not sure on the slotting there (should you take Fault AND Tremor)? Anyways, thought it could kick off some discussion on the combo and how I can improve it! Happy to drop some attacks if needed, I view pretty much every power in Bio Armor as necessary. Tanker (Bio Armor - Stone Melee).mbd
