  2. With my Water/Cold Corruptor, I found Sleet and Whirlpool to be completely unreliable powers for procs so I took them out. I think it is a general issue with rain/dot aoe powers and the new ppm system.
  3. This is my current version of a relatively inexpensive Water/Cold Corrupter using all attuned sets for leveling and exemping which has been working very well for me. I do use Infrigidate to proc Achilles' Heel but that's it. If I had spare slots I could see adding the damage procs. I don't find -recharge that useful for high end content where it tends to be resisted heavily. Between the proc in Infrigidate and double stacking Sleet with a 17 sec recharge that is plenty of -res. I have soft capped S/L/E defense and enough recharge without any recharge procs for permahasten and Geyser at 31 sec with Agility alpha. I could see the extra recharge from procs helpful while exemping but I tend to focus builds on end game content and just rely on the attuned sets for exemping. I found Sleet and Whirlpool completely unreliable for procs and from what I have read that seems consistent with other posting when it comes to comparable rains and pseudpets. For Tidal Forces and any other buildup type power I stick with just the single slot (assuming spiritual or agility alpha) with Guassian's Chance for Buildup which will proc 90% of the time every 30 secs. I usually avoid taking both T1 & T2 blast powers since there is typically enough recharge where only one is needed for an attach chain so I just went with Aqua Bolt (Personally I don't care for the Hydro Blast animation).   4. Cold Domination. Benumb, Sleet & Heat Loss just make AVs melt. For general clearing: sleet is quick debuff to apply, benumb on a hard target, heat loss keeps end topped off. The shields are a bonus to get everyone at def cap if they aren't already. Any time I do Apex or Tin Mage on my Cold corruptor the teams always seem to finish a good 5 minutes faster then when I end up on teams with minimal debuffs with my DPS heroes.
  5. Here is my current Ice/Tactical Arrow blaster build that has been working great for me and is relatively inexpensive. It has capped R/E/N defense and decent S/L resists. Endurance has never been an issue even without using Performance Shifter. If I need to hover to get out of harm's way, I just use Jet Pack.   6. Here is my current cheap Fire/Kin build that I am running (vet level 8 with Tier 3 incarnates right now except for hybrid which is tier 1). S/L is soft-capped but hasten isn't perma which hasn't been a problem for me at all. I can easily farm +4/8 BM. The IOs sets are all level 30 and most of the common IOs are level 40. The overwhelming power IO in bonfire is actually sudden acceleration KB to KD since Pines didn't have that set.   7. What I find that works for leveling and then early farming at 50 is to make cheap level 30 yellow sets, if available, for the powers selected. They can be usually made for the same price or even less than the common IOs and you get the extra enhancement values with the dual and triple stat ones plus the set bonuses. For powers without cheap sets, I just use common IOs. Then after 50 I farm for the final sets needed for the build. Here is an example of a Fire/Kin Controller I am leveling up now (currently 34). I spent under 20k for most of the recipes on the market and the highest was still less than 100k. I did spend 5mil on Sudden Acceleration: KB to KD for bonfire and will need another for disruptor blast but those wont need to be replaced.
