I think our AH system is the best of all the other mmorpgs out there. I wouldn't change the mechanics of it. I would change some UI things, but apparently that is off limits here.
That brings up another thing. In alpha, I have Muscular core level 2 done. Now I had just unlocked judgement and interface.
Should I get the first tiers on judgement and interface now or wait until I got alpha to tier 3?
I was still in Atlas park I want to say 7. I remember sneaking into skyway to see if it was better.
Oh, I also remember combining enhancements at that level. How silly.
Running away yes. But those darning persistent clockwork. Plus mobs you didn't see.
On day 2, created a character and went to each zone that I knew about. Learn about hospital travel.
Yes, the /stuck was used too much.
A couple of things I remember from release day:
1) Ran out of missions had to kill on the street (could have been my ignorance).
2) If you took a knee and got attacked, you died. //this should still happen.
3) death debt was worse than now or my memory is wrong.
4) stuns would caused toggles to drop. //this should still happen.
My idea is for a new content which is a combination of radio missions/safeguard/mayhem missions and task forces. They could be hardcore which means it is new content and hardcore taking care of the vs part of the op. Yes, the setting is the Ziggurat.
Called Ziggurat Commissions
We start off as task force style (think radio) and after a number of these task force like commissions, a special commission (call it a Ziggurat Operation) opens up. They are like a safeguard mission but in a task force style. Very tough may need a large group. After you complete it, you go back to running commissions. There is a number of operations which advance to further stages of operations in a cycle. You might have 3 to 5 levels of operation with 5 operations per level. You don't advance to the next level until you finish off one level.
When the top most Operation is completed, a 90 minute event opens up for all to join like the rikti war zone only in the theme of the zig.
I find these kind of forum gaming score systems to be silly/stupid. If someone makes fantastic posts on topics that a good but not in a way that is just to write or show off, then that is great. But something like this doesn't have any value to me. It is a poor brag to brag about imo.
So I hit a bank mission tonight at 1x4. Lots of mu and tarantulas in there. Made a mistake and pulled two extra groups. Fighting three groups with many mu and tarantulas was a PITA but I survived thanks to the hibernate skill I just got at 49. Don't want to do that often.
Thanks, I am doing radio missions to test. Is that a good test? I figure it is consistent vs door missions. Also, when I get to 50, will the XP turn into influence?
So I upped it to 1x4. Wow, I forgot how much more xp you got. Have used this system since back in retail. Had to pop a few + but not too many. Always seemed to have full insp.
Will try it a few more times then consider upping it to 1x5 or 1x6.
For missions, we can set our characters at +1, +2, ..., etc levels. We also have the our character acts as is we are 2, 3, 4, etc heroes.
Should I just experiment with it or is there some reasoning to how to approach this? level 48 SS/ICE brute. I generally solo.
