  1. 4 days?! Though my sleep cycle is still borked, it's borked in a way which *should* let me attend this time, yaaaaaay! ^^
  2. I'm pretty sure it'll stun a boss for the overlap. So if you 9 sec stun at 0 seconds, and you 9.5 sec stun at 2 seconds, it will end up stunned from 2 to 9 (or for 7) seconds.
  3. Oh man, I didn't mean to bag on you at all buddy. More that I don't understand PvPers who will kill some who isn't even trying at all to fight back. I don't know how PvP works in this game either. If someone bushwhacked me while I was badge-collecting and mapping in a PvP zone I would very similarly sit there doing nothing and come back later. XD
  4. I'd find some people like this in Elden Ring invasions sometimes. Most every time I would emote and finger cut back to my world. It's no fun at all just killing someone who isn't participating.
  5. I don't have that many alts, but I think I would just leave them alone and buy new enhancements for a new character. So if I ever end up wanting to go back to that alt everything is already ready already.
  6. Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow, you're only a day awaaaaaay. In other news, my sleep cycle is borked and I'm probably going to miss it. =((
  7. You can have my hover when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. EDIT: Unlimited, permanent vertical mobility. Super Speed is fastest because it has basically no vertical mobility (if CoH2 was ever made, Super Speed should let you run up walls and stuff, that would be awesome). Super Jump is a middle ground between Speed and Flight. It's got good vertical mobility, but you can't just sit in the air, and it's a little finnicky to use; takes practice. Flight on the other hand has unmatched vertical mobility, and you can sit comfortably out of range of melee attacks, so its lateral mobility (speed) suffers.
  8. Not aggravating enough to swallow your pride and yield to the authority of the team leader, apparently. I absolutely detest how punishment-obsessed our culture has become. Stop being a child. Someone in a game did something you didn't like. Grow up. You don't need to run to mommy GM and get him spanked.
  9. You can't make snarky comments in real time in a YouTube video, tho. So best just show up in-person (well, in-game, actually) on the day. ^^
  10. I find the lack of response to this thread disturbing.... (RIP James Earl Jones)
  11. I would characterize it as wanting MMO-money without putting in MMO effort.
  12. Let's try a thought experiment. Please try to take yourself out of the equation and consider these circumstances in abstract. Suppose Player A had full patrol XP and was defeated just before leveling, in fact, he were so close to leveling that very pull that defeated him, also leveled him. Should that count as a death? Suppose Player B goes down in the first pull of a mission, but it's a long mission, and he camps out until the end, and sure enough, by the end he dings and is revived. Should that count as a death? Suppose Player C is in a team and goes down while street-sweeping, but his party keeps clearing until he dings and revives. Should that count as a death? If you can answer those honestly, I think you'll have your answer. Personally I'm not the biggest fan of "hardcore" game play. But if I was going to do it, I think I tend to agree with Doomguide2005: progress on the XP Debt badge is the disqualifier.
  13. This is the problem. The Power Creep is real, and despite the efforts to fight it, the Power Creep has wildly outstripped the Exemplar system.
  14. How fortunate, on a lark I decided to check to see if there was any news from the Let Us Make a Deal crew, and lo and behold, here it is! And it's for tonight! What serendipity!
  15. Your post was great, and this is true, but there's something worth mentioning here: Attuned enhancements and normal enhancements actually scale down very slightly differently. Normal enhancements are slightly stronger at higher levels when exemplaring, while attuned enhancements are significantly stronger at the lowest levels (I had a spreadsheet a few weeks ago, but I deleted it because it doesn't *really* matter, because if you're exmplaring a lot, you should be using attuned anyway for the set bonuses). Another reason you don't need to attune your enhancements is because you can just...buy them? Wentworths collects all of the same Set IOs for sale and levels them up, or down, and attunes them based on buy orders. So for example, if I put up a level 21 Performance Shifter: Endurance+, and the price matches a buy order for an attuned Performance Shifter: Endurance +, my level 21 will be attuned and fill the buy order in question.
  16. Hear, hear. One that's friendly to making sub-50 characters would be nice.
  17. This crap is getting old. What the hell is the point of an auto-updater if it's going to break the program so I have to go manually install it anyway.
  18. Recluse *is* a villain, after all...
  19. Since this is AE and you're designing the map, can't you just put some cover nearby each pull and LoS the mobs to you? I've never really messed with making maps in AE, though, so I don't know how much control you have over positioning of enemy spawns.
  20. ...except he's not. That's the OP's point. The player in question is playing the game as he expects the game is meant to be played. He's playing how he thinks it should be played, not how he necessarily likes to play the game.
  21. Well, I went and messed around with the maze, but my brains are too smooth for this. x_x
  22. Why is it buried all the way down there instead of in the follow management when you click the "Follow" button on a thread. Ugh. Thank you; sorry to be so dumb.
  23. Good grief I'm stupid. THANK YOU. That is exactly what I wanted.
