  1. After Mission 4 is done,  someone on the team must directly go to Barracuda and speak to her.  After that the mission holder can then contact her and gets told to talk to Lord Recluse where you can then setup and obtain the final mission.

     

    Seems like that the talking to Barracuda part I listed above could be streamlined a bit so that once mission 4 is done, you can just call her and then get the talk to LR part, or just have it where once mission 4 ends you are to speak to LR right away without the redundant need to contact Barracuda

     

    Also on a regular or master run the badges and merits do not reward until you speak to LR again after the last mission,  on a master run if someone still gets killed before you speak to him, say by a Rikti invasion or Halloween zombie or banner event for example, then the Mo Badge still fails.   Perhaps adjusting it so the badges and merits award like they do on other SF/TF ?

  2. Mission 2: smash the 5 portals and escape before Reichsman smites the team.  

     

    The problem with this is that at times that orange portal-cube gets buggy and doesn't let you exit right away and you have to move around in it to finally exit.  That gives Reichsman time to attack anyone that cannot exit and he can basically one shot most players.   This can be a problem on Master runs. 

     

    So perhaps changing the orange cube to a glowing interdimensional portal that can be CLICKED to exit could be done?

     

    Granted if someone has TP ALLY they can tp teammates into the gate and they usually get warped out of the mission but that still leaves the person that has that power stuck in the mission if the gate gets buggy

  3. Age of Apocalypse was adapted in the original series with the two parter that was combination of Terminator and Age of Apocalypse where Trevor Fitzroy went back in time to kill Xavier before he creates the X-men

     

    Episode  5 of '97 feels like an upgraded version of the Mutant Massacre, imo.    This attack will likely motivate Magneto to put his helmet back on and declare war.

    I'm sure this is a popular suggestion but something tells me that disabling cutscenes in missions that have them would probably break mission scripting and cause all sorts of issues without making additional changes under the hood.  For instance, while it's not a TF the last mission for Dark Watcher has you fighting Hro'dhoz (was that the name?) and halfway through the fight is interrupted by Nemesis making his grand appearance through cutscene.  I suspect the Nemesis ambush and spawn would probably break things without the cutscene somehow, the code is held up with scotch tape after all.

     

    Just task and strike forces, not actual missions, so this option would not be available in the Ouro arcs or regular story arcs

    Except they keep adding new badges so the all encompassing badge would have to disappear or be greyed out on characters that had all badges until they get all the new ones to max out their badges again.

  6. 1. A better attack animation for Piercing Shot,  the tossing of pistols in to the air, grabbing them and then firing just doesn't feel right.

     

    2. The power has cryo, incendiary, and toxic ammo,  how about energy ammo? Thus making the pistols into quasi laser pistols?

     

    Or perhaps a Dual Laser Pistol power set combining features of dual pistol and beam rifle?

    No they didn't, it did not happen.   However Matrix 4 at least made it to theaters, Highlander 5: the Source did not.   If you must choose to watch one of these disasters, Matrix 4 would be the better choice

  9. The Matrix game i liked was Matrix the Path of Neo

     

    One of the Wachowski's is attached as exec producer for Matrix 5 but that is the extent of their involvement.   

     

    Perhaps a live action or animated TV series would be better then another movie?

     

    Matrix 4 was awful, all it did was give the fairy tale ending that Neo and trinity were denied

    Only after they are buffed by the machine and that failsafe for the ambushes only works 4 times

    And I would agree that maybe triple threat or Mo Barracuda were some of the toughest for me personally. Triple Threat for modern times cause of the RNG factor, and MO Barracuda old school when you needed the mix of ATs have a chance and of course no Incarnate at the time.

     

    Mo Barracuda is still a bit of a pill to get.  Luckily its been changed so that the team leader gets the power needed to shut down Reichsman's phase power

     

    However he is still overamped and has the ambush waves. I have had some teams of late that were not as optimal as past teams gain the Mo Cuda badge but we literally had to stay in the fight until ALL the ambush waves were destroyed while the tanks/brutes kept him occupied.  Approximately 15 waves of ambushes.

     

    As to RHW badge, I agree with what you say about Okie's leadership.   Okie, you do a fine job running the Mag trials and i also hope you do RHW again.  Your choice of course. 🙂

    But for me, it's TRIPLE THREAT because everyone can literally do everything right, and you can still fail the badge because the AVs regen at random times. What's truly frustrating is when you get all the AVs down to 2%, Nega's shield is down, and Chimera just TP'd so you give the kill order and... someone regens. It's like they were waiting just for me to give the kill order. Maybe if you have everyone on VC in Discord you can get everyone to instantly stop, but once you give the kill order it's really hard to stop that train. I recently suggested some ideas for a revamp to keep the badge challenging by addressing the randomness issue.

     

    Your leadership is fine,  as you say it is the PUG factor .

Back on live before Ouroborus was introduced, the devs set up where ONE target for the isolator badge appears in the train terminal in the PVP Recluse Victory zone.    You can defeat it then leave and come back later for another, and another and another...... long respawn time as i recall.  

     

    This would be the only way I remember for red siders to work the badge at all.  

     

    Just be hero or vigilante and do the Ouroborus intro story arc, the second mission puts you back to level 1 in the Outbreak tutorial map.
