  1. Was able to complete my bugged mission and got to arrest him.

After that I was able to start the arc again, The Ouro Mender appeared and we spoke, no errors.

Spoke to Marcus and chose the options to go get his father.

First run of the final mission my powers (energy blaster) sent Flambeaux flying backward through the locked door and she wouldn't come out, had to log out to reset mission.

Went back into mission, changed my attack pattern to avoid previous error, mission completed and badge awarded.

The previously reported chat loop with Miss Thystle remains but it doesn't prevent you from leaving the mission.

I received Pollster for completing the Hero arc  and Underdog for the Rogue arc

Overall an entertaining arc, very well done! Nice to see some aftermath to one of the previous arcs

  2. Another problem: just got to Marcus,  now I am seeking the Arrest ending.  I have done the others.   However it is bugged and in a loop where he and I both remember the other encounters but any dialog option I choose just loops us back to the dialog options over and over. No fight occurs.

Logged out and returned, same problem.   it seems that choosing the option to kill him on the previous run was an error.  The only option that my alt needs to do is arrest him now but I can't.  The dialog box shows I did all the other options and that perhaps the Zig.....then it switches to Marcus talking.   Any option I choose just flips me back to the choices.  Cannot proceed.

There aren't any "Rogue" options, because Vigilantes are unable to aqcuire Rogue alignment points.

Also, those choices are only for flavor. The only choices that truly matter to get the badge is having made all possible choices at the very end (Let Marcus go, send Marcus to the lab, arrest Marcus, kill Marcus). Then run the arc a fifth time to get a new option, which will unlock the badge.

Ah, then I happily stand corrected. However the fact that you can still talk again and again to Thystle after the mission ends feels like a bug

  4. Ran the arc a few times, very well written and fun.

Mission 1:  got the hero alignment point

Mission with the hacker: chose the option to knock him senseless got Vigilante point

Talk to longbow and fight them and received Villainous alignment point

When talking to Thystle, chose options to threaten her and got another villain point.    I sense this is where I am failing the badge and that there is a rogue option in the dialog

Final mission: talked peacefully to the kid, let him, Hero point.

    No badge, yet.

EDIT: Oh yes this mission is bugged.    After some chat options, I still get the villain alignment point and Miss Thystle doesn't leave the map she just collapses to the ground, if that happens you can talk to her again and again and again and go through the dialog options. I didn't get any alignment point from her, but when I discovered I could speak to her again despite the exit button being available, I still was able to get the villain alignment point.......after getting Villain alignment point from fighting the longbow

Ran the arc a few more times,  went through the chat options with Longbow and Thystle, both of them each award a Villain alignment point.   That doesn't feel right, as I recall the alignment system on live was  Hero --- Vigilante --- Villain --- Rogue --- Hero

So that being the case and the last mission can award a hero alignment point if you choose correctly, then I think the mission with Miss Thystle is bugged, or else I am missing something in the dialog options.

Well first, congrats to the above for maxing up the badges again.

As for me, I brought my main 2 of 15 to 1596 on the first day of the event, then paused to consider my above quoted previous post.   I said I think I'll stop, and I thought about it.  For a time I was tempted to stop badging on all 15.  How long was I tempted? 0.86 seconds, which for me can be an eternity. (pop culture points to those that know where that dialog came from) Took all the reasons I was thinking about not badging any longer, reviewed 'em and threw them out with a vengeance.

So, that being said it's time once again..........

I find synapse to be just slightly more monotonous than citadel.  Taking a league of 44 people along with a bit of extra coordination to get 8 or more simultaneous babbages is its saving grace though.

If any changes are to be made,  be sure and place the originals in ouro.

I was working on a revised Synapse TF in the AE.  AE has some limitations so some of my ideas can't seem to be implemented but it would be 10 missions, revised story line, a lot less defeat alls.   Had to shelve the project due to IRL, will resume it later

  8. Was running a Nightmare farm and someone on it had 14 badge ticks but hadn't tracked the ones they had faced.   I usually jot mine down in my character bio until the badge is done but that's jsut me.   Then I remembered that since Nul can help us track progress on Dimensional Warrior badge and reveal the missing Praetorians needed for it.   couldn't it be modified to do the same for Dreamwalker badge from the Minds of Mayhem trial?

  9. So an alt of mine has 150 prisms to get the costumes and accolade and badges.

Purchased the Accolade first for the listed price of 50 but got charged 100 prisms.   The costume badges charged normally, so I was shorted 50 prisms by the system.  Triple checked, confirmed I had 150 prisms to start and did not buy any Tier 2 costumes

Another alt gets a couple of the 10 prism costumes,  gets charged 7 prisms for one and 5 for another and the normal amount for the rest

Any one else having any unusual results?

  10. Spring Event is over,  you can no longer get the Handsome/Beautiful badge or the Widow Maker badge.

But you can still contact DJ Zero if you unlocked him as a contact.   You can contact him a total of 10 times throughout the year once unlocked, this has been this way since live.  So you can still get Snaptooth kills, and the reward table should still have Party Goer and Heart of Light badges and should still get Valentine tips

  11. Protip:   for the red side part of Spring Event, mission 1 could be used to farm the badge for defeating mages of the Circle of Thorns,  also while farming this mission your toon should easily obtain Valentine Tip missions.  As soon  as you get 3 tip missions, stop the farm and run the tip missions, then return to the farm and get more badge progress for CoT and more Valentine tips.

Mission 2: whether it is the red or the blue version you are in a map loaded with Arachnos toops that can count towards the 200 needed for Spider Smasher badge.   Keep clearing level 1 and 2 of the map, gain 3 Valentine tips then pause the spider farm and run the tips.  Return to the mission and resume the farming and keep getting Valentine tips and progress on Spider Smasher badge.   You should rather quickly get the two Valentine delivery badges rather quickly as well as Spider Smasher badge.

I find this is a problem when you get to your 191st character or use 21 pages. It seems it can't easily handle more than 20. The characters are still there as you said, but you need to use arrows.

For this reason I try to limit myself to 190 characters per server.

This could be it as I have a bit more then 191/21 pages,  I made another playerslot file and had put five alts per page and after logging back in literally every other page was "missing"

  13. So with either of the launchers when I log in, some rows of my characters have "disappeared".   That is to say that with some rows I could click on the dots to go straight to the row of characters, but for example row 7 of my alts can only be reached by using the arrows.

Other rows of my alts are affected by this,  I have rechecked the playerslot file and even rebuilt it but some times that makes it worse and I have to revert the file

Problem seems to stem from renaming characters or moving them to different slots.

Anyone else have this and a fix for it?

  14. Express Praetorian Valentine Delivery:

IF you get a Valentine that needs to be delivered to someone in Praetoria, you cannot LFG to them. However you could use your base teleporter to jump to the zone and travel to them. Or you can use the "Temporal Express" service known as Ouroborus.  Simply choose the right story arc,  warp to the contact, then quit the arc and then you can deliver the Valentine.

Praetor Duncan:  Arc 18.01 in the L10-14 range,  warp to Marauder, quit the arc, she is nearby

Praetor Sinclair:  Arc 18.25 in the L15-19 range

Nightstar: no story arc with her as the contact,  suggest Arc 18.25 then warp to Praetor Sinclair and quit the arc and travel to Night star.

IVY:  Arc 18.37 in the L20-24 range

Antimatter:  Arc 18.39 in the L20-24 range

Bobcat:  Arc 18.42 in the L20-24 range, or if you are already in Pocket D, use the portal there to warp straight to the Praetorian version of Pocket D and she is near your arrival point.

Neuron:  Arc 18.43 in the L20-24 range

Belladonna: Arc 18.45 in the L20-24 range.  Warp to the contact, quit the arc, she is in the room

Vanessa DeVore: Arc 21.22 in the L25-29 range

"Mother", Siege and Metronome should all be ones where you need to take a transport to them.

And it worked pretty well.   I did PL a char to 30, grabbed the mission, then finished up to 50 for testing purposes.   Now if I was chasing the badge with another char, this probably would be a little quicker at a little over 1m per hour.

I like it, but the only problem I foresee is that once the event is over, you likely wont' retain the mission.

  16. Widow Maker is for the mission owner only.

IF you get a Valentine Delivery that is for Ms. Liberty,  you have to go to Atlas you cannot use the version in Pocket D.

Noticed some dialogue change so that now you are given some vials of blood for the revival process for Red Widow.  The Conduit states that this is so no one uses their own blood which for years on live and I think for the first year of HC, the dialogue of the mission stated you had to use your blood.

    • Thumbs Up 2
  17. Also a reminder: The Valentine Tip missions are solo only, team members have never gotten badge credit.  Also they are Talk missions so Mission transport and Team Transport won't work

But an SG base with teleporters helps nicely for the ones that take you to Praetoria.   For others use the LFG teleport method.

Example: you need to deliver one to Swan.   She is next to Manticore, so open the LFG tab, select the Manticore TF and lock the team and click the green button.

Also be Vigilante or Rogue so that you can deliver Valentines to blue or redside contacts.

  18. Noticed a few things when running a mayhem the other day:

    1. I target a group of cops and citizens and fire ion judgement. One of the cops was the target.  The ion bolt arced through all the cops but no citizens were touched.   I later target a large group again only this time I use a citizen as the target,  this time the blast hits civilians and cops

    2. Masterminds seem to need to be told to target citizens yet they will easily attack other targets on their own.
