I was thinking of making an Elec/Elec blaster. I've read that Elec Blast is primarily range while Elec Manip is primarily melee. If I'm playing a blapper, I'm wondering if a melee AT such as a brute might be better. Btw, the toon will have a bee theme, so any bee themed suggestions will be useful.

Duck Bills I see many toons with Duck names, and they use gas masks or bird beaks to make a duck bill. I hate this look. I think that many people would like actual duck bills.

Should Hover and CJ be slotted after the first slot? I read one post that CJ doesn't have enough Def to be worth slotting. Is this true? What about Hover?

Thank you for your replies I was just looking at builds posted on this forum and every one that I read skipped FA, which surprised me. Instead, they chose Conserve End and then Phys Perf.

How many slots should be used for Focused Accuracy? I often hear that Acc shouldn't be slotted much, so I'm guessing that the original slot is enough.

I want to make an Elec/Elec. In the other 3 melee ATs, people tell me that either Elec Melee or Elec Armor is good, but not both. Are both good for Tanker?

Is a different AT better? I've seen many people suggest Elec/Shield for Scrapper or Stalker but people rarely mention Elec/Elec. Is it a good combo?

Is Dark Blaster or Dark Manip better with other Primaries or Secondaries? Is Dark/Dark good together? I want Dark/Dark because I think that would be good for a crow themed character. I'm thinking of Blaster or maybe a melee AT.

Thank you for your replies. From what you've said, it appears that SD and WP are two of the better Tanker Primaries because they are all around. I'm guessing that MA and Kat/BS are 2 of the better Secondaries because of the Def bonus.

I read an article saying that SOs diminish in effectiveness after 3 of a type, for example, if a power has more than 3 defense SOs, the effectiveness will diminish after the first 3. Is that true of IOs as well? Can I have a power with 6 defense IOs, etc?

I assume that Res based Powersets are better for a Tanker than Def based. Are def based sets such as SR good? Are regen based sets such as WP good?

I made an Elec/Elec Scrapper and didn't think that Lightning Field did much damage. Is it skippable?

I've read that /ElecA is great for Brutes, but ElecM is not so good. I've also read that ElecM is great for Stalkers, but it is best with Shield, while ElecA is only ok. Is there an AT which is really good for Elec/Elec?

I would assume that Electric Melee would be good since it is largely aoe, increasing rage.

Is Electric Armor good on a brute? I'm planning on making an Elec/Elec. I think that Elec Armor would be bad on a Stalker because it is a resist set. I think that an Elec/Elec would be best in a big crowd of baddies, so I think this combo would be good on a brute.

What is an Envenomed Dagger Scrapper? Is it Dual Blades?

There are some good responses in this post. I'm making a Natural Katana Scrapper. I'm thinking of /SR, /Nin and /WP. I've read in other posts that DA and /SR can be overkill on Def. For this reason, I'm primarily thinking of /WP. Some people in this post commented that /Nin is also very good, and it has a heal. Does anyone have a preference between /Nin, /WP or anything else that is Natural?

I want to make a dagger themed toon. I'm primarily thinking of Scrapper or Stalker, Claws or Dual Blades. I'm open to other suggestions. This toon will mostly group, but will sometimes solo.

Thank you both for your replies. I plan to only group with this toon. It seems that you both like Sonic Resonance. I read in a different post that Sonic Resonance needed an update. I wondered if it was greatly inferior to other Def Primaries.
