  1. Don't forget to pick up Mu Mastery for Electric Fences for an Immob, and Ball Lightning with Overwhelming Force's change for KD! ;)
  2. Correctly slotted it takes about two applications and if you slot one End Mod in the Lightning Field you can keep most things drained.
  3. For me I think that's true. I used to run a lot a Electric Tanks when the set first came out. I haven't really figured it out here. Maybe some will post a build for you. For me though, Elect seems to drop pretty quickly once stuck into the main combat (unless you do a sapping build).
  4. Shield/DM might edge them out a bit at higher levels as it adds a combat heal to high Defense and stacking DDR (ends up around ~%86 when stacked). My guess is that it would be fairly close but: SD/DM - hard to hit, combat heal, potential for several AoEs. No real downsides. Dark/Elect - Edge over Elect being faster higher effect AoE Heal that can recover End as well and be slotted for damage. Con, you do have to build for KB Resist. Other - Can build for Def (Melee), but no DDR, so once the hits start no more Def. Elect/Dark - Good KB resist and Resists overall coming out of the gate (but uneven ground/sloping maps issue). Can sap enemies End. Con, slow main Heal, need to fast cycle combat heal. Very vulnerable to Toxic (which makes no sense...). Probably a few other things I've forgotten to mention that I'm sure others will bring up.
  5. Dark/Elect = Thunder and Lightning, what's not to love? Fast strong heal, teleport "Boom", OG, grab an immob on your epic/patron (at 35 if you can), you're good to go. Of course you do need to add some KB protection... because Tanks can't have nice things... but....
  6. I may be a bit biased... but Fiery Melee! There are multiple options for slotting that adds additional functionality to the DoT. Example: slot either the KD proc from Overwhelming Force or Avalanche into FSC and Combustion for additional mitigation, and/or add KD proc from Kin Combat into one of your ST attacks... there are other tricks as well...
  7. Storming the wedding was pretty fun. I think if we had another Tank (only seven of us) we might have done better. We also may need to look at builds which include debuffing in the epics/patron powers.
  8. Thanks for leading the league @Ronin_Around. It was a good time for sure. Lots of fun when you start new Tanks and level en masse'. We pulled many, many, many mass herds in Frostfire and my Stone/Axer went from 1 to 17, so next time on Indom we'll be running Posi 1 and 2.

Let's get Victory established, the run themed Tanks there. @ZemX, what's your home server, let's plan on running Rad Melee there. @SeraphimKensai, what's your home server, and we can look at planning an Electric Melee theme there. Since we already have the "challenge" going on Indom, let's wait a month or two before starting the next.
  12. Atm, we hadn't planned on leveling en masse there, but I'm sure we'd be up for it. If not now, maybe in the near future. Just need to plan on it.

  14. That will be something to see. Although with the recent buff to Stone, probably won't be that bad and Mud Pots will help keep the mobs around you... Maybe not that bad of a combo... Lotsa' places for LotG Global Recharge...
  15. Zooooom, zoooOOOomy, Zooomy, Zooom.... *Smack*!!! True, but we could go bowling with Repulsing Torrent (slotted with KB/KD). Just imagine an ITF where we all fire that at the big mobs. STRIKE!! I think Rad Melee would be fine with other sets. I just didn't enjoy it as much with Ice until the magic level 47... Ice seems to need a lot of catalyzed IOs to bring it into line with other Primaries.
  16. I was able to get Warboss on Victory and started a new Tanker (Rad (of course)/Claws (not too sure about)). I didn't wait around to see if we were going to do a themed Tanker event there to start. But, something we haven't done was build "theme named" Tank, so we could build new toons with "Victory" in there names, or "TT" to signify they're Tanker Tuesday Tanks. Just a thought, not required. Or, we could run with the same Secondary (as opposed to the Primary as we usually do). Something not usually taken like TW or Kin Melee?

  18. I didn't look, are you already at +5 on the current Recharge for Active Defense? If not, that might we worth trying.
  19. I found time to test a bit at 8+2 with my Shield/Icer (not fully incarnated, or tooled up for soloing TFs (yet)), and found the same issue with the stacking (or "off times") with the stacking. Your testing pretty much confirms that for me. Thanks for checking that out. I think one or two of the Incarnate power (Hybrid - Melee, and something else) provides some DDR as well, but I'm not recalling what they are. Having those active during the down times might help. There might be other powers like Unleash Potential that could help as well.

  22. That build would work, but there are likely a few tweaks that could be made to be more efficient. Hopefully @Hyperstrike or one of the other Invulers sees the threads and can make suggestions. At work atm, so I can't dig into it. Check out the Best overall tank build for all the game content??, PLV's post. Go through the rest of the thread to follow it up. It should be able to help you out. And the What to pair with Invulnerability? thread right under it...
  23. I don't know all the mechanics for procs. But since timing is involved, I could see how an extended affect could mess with the cut off time (when the effect finishes). Which is why I was suggesting trying a power the didn't have the DoT as the main damage (I think most FM attacks now provide a chance for additional fire damage).
  24. Okay, got mine built and ready to go on Indom. Toons will be starting at level 0. We'll still meet in King's Row at the usual place. After the meet up we'll get teams set and DFB. From there the next goal will be to finish missions in King's or Hollows. After which (maybe not the same meeting), we'll get leveled up to run all the TFs. Posi first ("X" will be leading).
  25. I see you're using Incinerate. Is it possible that the DoT is causing the issue? The "continuous hit" messing with the proc timer. Maybe replace with Fire Sword on a fast recharge and see what that does?
