The name release has been long awaited by some, but i'd like to offer something close to my heart, and probably many others. I would like to suggest there be a mechanism of some sort, to lock a specific name for those who are no longer with us, the name they're known for, and for a plaque placed somewhere in AP or Mercy with a scrollable list, depending on the alignment so we can have a homage/memory of them in the world they experienced with the community friends and family, if that's something they'd want anyway. It's not entirely unprecedented, we have homages to prominent members of our community, such as Ascendant, albeit as a character performing his famous call, in our beloved City of Heroes. If it's possible to implement that in a reasonable manner, i'd think many would appreciate it.

When referring to "PBAoE Akin to Link Mind" I mean that it affects everyone it hits including the user, value would go down terms of overall numerical count, but with that trade off, it would affect more teammates, in both team settings and League settings, and more importantly, also affect the player using it. Fortitude would still be able to use in concert with Power Boost as that's historically what's been done with it, just like Farsight can be.

Understandable for Absorb Pain, but it's moreso to give it more of a benefit for sacrificing HP and getting immunity to being healed for however long it is, it's an often skipped power in my experience playing with others when I do encounter it. Healing is effective at low-level play, but not-so-much in mid to late-game. Having an extra bit tacked on to be a "oh shit" power to help ensure they don't go down is nice. As for Fortitude, honestly making the set easier to use would be better overall, good players obviously use it on cooldown to as many players as possible but having it a PbAoE would be a large quality of life so-long as it has the same modifiers as Link Minds, but it can still be boosted via Power Boost. World of Pain is obviously a foil of it in effect, it's just that it does +Def instead of +Resists when that set was created for villains. What changing Clear Mind to a PbAoE Toggle or Targeted AoE would make the set more desirable than it currently is when weighed against Cold, Thermal, Sonic Resonance and Force Field. It exclusively would apply Psi Resist, and no other types of resistances, differentiating it from other resist powers from other support sets. As for the AoE res, it wouldn't ideally need a target, even if it doesn't pick anyone up, it's just a large area heal on a decent cooldown. Arguably the massive stun and -Regen that Howling Twilight can do in addition to the rez, makes sense to require a target. Generally speaking, the goal of these suggestions is to bring the Issue 1 set up to some reasonable par with other sets that have healing, raw healing is just isn't as important as it used to be, and while the set should still have potent heals, it's carried hard by Fortitude in general gameplay. The t7 and t8 have insane cooldowns, and low durations. Combining them and putting the cooldown/duration roughly the same as Accelerated Metabolism would make sense to me. As for what power to put into that void, i'm unsure what i'd suggest at this time.

Latter absorb would maybe have the new degrading tech considering it's high cost vs. the current benefit of sacrificing HP and getting +Heal Resistance to self. Having a mass rez alongside a large Heal over Time would increase it's overall utility, Dark Miasma's AoE rez is very good. Even if not used to rez, it's still a potent stun and -Regen

Just a few more proposals. Breath of Life's proc would be similar to the Defender ATO, but only be flagged to affect nearby allies from you in a 15ft radius. As per usual, tried to follow the general formula for purple sets terms of enhancement values towards the primary set category type. And a PVP Recharge Intensive Pet IO set, with a semi reliable -DMG proc and unusually, % control for pets that may have some CC available in their kit.

Focused Feedback: Remote/Temporal Bomb

While not specifically leveraged towards Temporal Bomb, Remote Bomb and Detonator, I think it might be a good time to address the interrupt on Trip Mine for /Traps at the same time since we're adjusting the underutilized T9 power in Traps and Devices. But, narrowly towards the new changes to the /Traps and /Devices T9, it's quite fun and i've had a literal blast with it. -

Tranquilizer Please murder this for something else. I'd prefer Beanbag (Not a meme, I legitimately mean this.) to be honest, while sleeps can be nice, ST sleeps are generally, very meh. It would at the very least, stack with Flash Bang, or with itself and not break on damage. Sleep Grenade Basically needs to continue to work like Static Field does, but some secondary effects like -Recharge / -Defense would be appropriate. Cyro Freeze Ray Liquid Nitrogen Basically also needs to work like Static Field, but constantly reapply an immobilize much like Dimension Shift does. Cloaking Device Yes please, am happy with this, generally like to see things like this to differentiate them from other control sets. Smoke Canister Flash Bang Tear Gas Gun Drone - Battle Drones Basically, replace the model with the robot battle drones from the Robotic Lore, which seems more in line with a high-tech suppression. Maybe one does Surveillance / other support powers, while the second does damage and th'like, maybe has a cloak toggle while out of combat in trade for some resists. Need t'do more testing but just some small things. The amount of placed patch powers could certainly be trimmed down, or auto-target execute at the target without the use of a bind or macro, while I understand this does take a bit of choice away, it would certainly make it run smoother for most of the player base. The lack of a stackable immobilize, largely makes the control set work against itself, nor does it make use of either Containment or the Dominator inherent/active use, it makes it hard for targets to stay in the area of effects of the multiple patches or AoE effects in general, some enemies just functionally ignore the slow, War Wolves, AVs, etc. -

I'd kill for some of the force field effects from the Praetorian maps, and the metal bits in the hallways, the floors, etc. Definitely Praetorian sewer bits terms of cement. We've got a few that we can use, but nothing as good texture/size wise. -
Entirely valid, yeah. The extraneous fear was sort of roughly following the same Enhancement value formula as Ragnarok, Unbreakable Constraint, Apocalypse, etc. with the very main IO set enhancement increases overall if you were to 6 slot it, or take a different 5 set combination.

Purple Fear set, still kinda finaglin' with ideas but, the Contagious Confusion-like Terrorize effect with a -ToHit tacked on could be interesting neat. I mainly wanted it to give non-traditional resist suites relative to other purple sets that met the theme of Mot / Dark Astoria, as well as a set that gave Endurance/Recovery rather than the standard HP/Regen of other sets.

Accurate Healing set, kinda focused on powers like Siphon Life, or Dehydrate, but can still be used for Twilight's Grasp, or similar healing powers that require a ToHit check.

Just a few ideas really. We're severely lacking diversity in the Accurate Healing, Accurate -ToHit, Accurate -Defense, and honestly, every type of CC set as a purple set so, I figure we could use one for Fear as well.

Still working on a number of other proposals, not sure if I went overboard with the bonuses, etc. But stuck roughly what you had for overall Total Enhancement Aspects, Effective total IOs for a rare set, etc.

Having the option to skip things like Web Grenade, or Alkaloid on Poison for a non-Defender is something of a game changer. In addition, as an MM? Far less of a miserable early-game, or when exemplaring down for SF/TF content. Having the opportunity to pick your more iconic powers in your chosen power sets earlier, is a good thing. You can still choose to take it later, game's about options and customizability of your heroes, villains, or the things inbetween. So, honestly. I'm fine with these changes and have a substantial impact to early-leveling by making it more bearable, same with exemplaring. Synapse no longer feels like an absolute slog with the options that are going to be available to players. I've thoroughly enjoyed the changes broadly speaking with a few exceptions. -
