  1. As I understand, that's not a bug but rather an automated measure against same account being used from multiple login sessions. If you lose connection to the server, your client knows it's not connected any more but the server doesn't. So when you log in again, the server sees two login sessions and kicks them both
  2. I've created multiple characters having spent quite a bit of time on each costume before going into the tutorial. You were just unlucky trying it during higher server load. You can use a costume saved with SCORE or Titan Icon to speed it up, but it is not necessary. Costume creation is done without connection to the server.
  3. Admit it: it's the most insidious Nemesis plot anyone saw.
  4. Are you sure your antivirus hasn't quarantined or blocked score.exe?
  5. I've found it. Still as eye-searing as before. You owe me a new pair of eyeballs.
  6. You'd change the authserver IP supplied to SCORE.EXE .
  7. The clockwork should be spawned right behind Interrogator Hoffman: https://i.imgur.com/LUdHygz.jpg Delete the toon, remake it. When talking to Flint for the first time, DECLINE BASIC TRAINING. That skips the portion of the tutorial that would involve the Clockwork.
  8. Happens when servers are too busy. Not limited to sewers.
  9. I guess there's a reason to cap players per instance a bit lower to prevent this sort of issue.
  10. Titan Icon is not a way to access the private server. It's just a standalone character creator. Known issue, apparently for some people Tequila doesn't disable the version check properly. See https://score.savecoh.com/index.php/topic,78.msg680.html#msg680 for a replacement tequila.xml
  11. Characters sometimes get corrupted. Ask the GMs, maybe they can help.
  12. See https://score.savecoh.com/index.php/topic,638.msg2648.html#msg2648 for a workaround.
  13. 1. Right-click score.exe -> properties -> compatibility. Check under the DPI settings. 2. Start -> Search (or Start-> Run if you're using XP or Vista) -> Regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cryptic\coh . The values to edit are ScreenX and ScreenY
  14. Server overload.
  15. The Big Bang was a Nemesis plot.
  16. Locked forever unless there's something I'm not aware of. This issue happened to several other players, so hopefully there will be a fix further down the line.
  17. See https://score.savecoh.com/index.php/topic,638.msg2648.html#msg2648 for a workaround. You will need to get the game files from the magnet link (torrent) first.
  18. Right-click on score.exe -> properties -> compatiblity. Experiment with the different DPI settings. Also, once you do get into the game, there's a borderless option in the resolution list - it's labelled as (desktop) .
  19. As far as I know characters who display Unknown as location are - at least for the time being - SOL. Maybe there will be a fix for it eventually but for now you can only delete and remake the toon.
  20. Small note: it's strongly recommended to download the game via torrent instead of through Tequila. The servers hosting Tequila content can't manage the load and as a result the download is abysmally slow. Using the torrent download and then installing Tequila into the folder where the game was downloaded lets Tequila skip most of the download and gets you ready to play much faster.
  21. Start -> Search -> regedit. Have you checked the DPI settings?
  22. For what it's worth, you're not the only person who ended up in the same situation as a result of a crash / disconnect when finalizing character creation. My best guess is that the character record was created but hasn't actually been linked to your account the way it should have been.
  23. They know and they weren't. Keep in mind that the concurrent population was over 4000 players when official servers were hard capped at 1500.
  24. The splash screen, login screen and loading screens always display pillarboxed. Character creation and actual gameplay will fill the screen normally if you've set the game to use same aspect ratio as your display. In-game settings (and the system registry location where they're stored) have nothing to do with DPI settings. To see those, right-click score.exe -> properties -> compatibility.
  25. From what I understand, he's not seeing the toon in his character list.
