  1. Hello! Looking at your post history, it appears that you're using Wine to run the game - there's currently a bug some of the later versions that's causing this, along with similar behaviour in other games, which you can take a look at here: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50969

The issue appears to have recently been resolved; my guess is that the fix will be rolled out eventually, but until then, you might have better luck with an older version of Wine, such as 6.4 if you're using the development version.

Concealment: The new Stealth should offer a minor defense bonus IN combat like Combat Jump. Otherwise it seems redundant with Infiltration (kind of a waste just to unlock phase shift or misdirection). I see the benefit to Masterminds who never actively attack (which I'm guessing is a fairly small minority). Or as a vanity power for impatient people who just want to stealth through everything. Not so much for the rest of us.

Stealth still provides in-combat defence, just like before - its out-of-combat defence has just increased, along with possessing a higher stealth radius. Hence:

    Pool: Concealment

    • Concealment has been updated to include a new sneaky & versatile travel power: Infiltration
      • Concealment is now classed as a travel pool - the first 3 powers in the pool are available immediately instead of just the first 2
      • Invisibility and Stealth have been merged together, the best parts of both powers are now available with just Stealth
      • Infiltration now sits where Invisibility used to be in the T3 slot
    • Invisibility_Stealth.png.104f33f2f11bf3378ee0ba5b0fa04d5a.png Stealth
      • Stealth radius increased to match the numbers Invisibility had before this patch
        • PvE radius has increased from 36ft to 55ft
        • PvP radius has increased from 389ft to 611ft
      • Out of combat defence increased from 3.5% to 7%

    • Now increases your run speed cap by 30% while toggled on (from 92.5mph to 120.25mph)
      • This increase doesn't apply in PvP
    • Now has a new momentum leap mechanic
      • Running will build up momentum, allowing you to perform a single very high, very long jump after approximately 4 seconds of running
      • Jumping will cause you to expend your momentum - after landing, you'll need to remain grounded and running in order to perform another momentum jump
      • Super Speed's icon will gain a yellow ring when you are at maximum momentum

  4. Hey there! Per the Issue 27 Page 1 patch notes:

    Quote

    Acquiring Enhancements

    • Single Origin enhancements can now be purchased from vendors at levels 5, 10, 15 and 20
      • This is meant to equalize the availability of those enhancements at low levels, which currently are mostly obtained through farming the Death From Below trial
    • DOs can now be purchased from vendors at levels 5 and 10, just for parity
    • TOs have been removed from regular vendors but can still be purchased from the Supergroup Base enhancements vendor if you're into that kind of thing
    • Story Arc rewards that used to drop TOs and DOs will now always drop a SO of your origin

      • TOs and DOs will still drop from other sources as vendor trash

    • The tutorial zones now reward the player with Talisman of the Initiate (Damage) SOs instead of Damage TOs

    • Introductory tasks from City Hall reward the player with Damage SOs of their origin instead of Damage TOs

    • The Shop Keeper and Smuggler day jobs will now always award a SO

Training Origin enhancements should still come up as drops - if that's not the case, it might be a good idea to file a bug report here, if it hasn't been reported already. So if you're looking to purchase TO enhancements, accessing a public supergroup base with enhancement vendors in it should do the trick. Hope this helps!

Not able to figure it if it's even possible, but I am having no luck. Anyone else able to figure out a way?

    Hello there!

That's just a matter of enabling it in the launcher's settings: check the "Allow multiple instances" option and you'll be golden. Hope this helps!

  6. I've actually been staying on Wine 5.14 (Staging) on Arch myself - any versions higher than that cause the 64-bit version of the game to crash for me (I haven't tried the 32-bit version). Could you try confirming that, @ColdZero?

EDIT 2: Been messing around with your .desktop file, and in order for it to run on Arch, I need to set it to

    Exec = wine /home..../Homecoming/bin/win64/launcher.exe

instead of how you have it, as when I use your way, it just crashes right away / doesn't launch, + I can remove the StartupWMClass and it still works.

Actually, I can take credit for that! The StartupWMClass is used for associating windows to a specific application. On Linux desktops, that's used to allow for the tracking of application start-ups, among other things. You can read more about it here. Needless to say, most .desktop files will have this, and it can be important for making applications behave as expected - for instance, Latte Dock.

Support for Dual Boxing seems to be broken.  Or at least so far I cannot get ISBoxer to launch the game.  Not that I dual box a lot, but there are times that I want to content by myself that otherwise I would need a small group for,  Usually this is when I don't have time to do it all in one go and will only be able to do a few missions here and there between doing other things.

Open your launcher settings, and select the "Allow multiple instances" option underneath the General Settings section.

If they intend to nerf TW (which I agree they should), then I would advise fixing the momentum mechanic, which I'd argue is one of the worst mechanics in the game.

Seriously if not for the damage I would have dropped my TW Brute and stripped it of IOs ages ago.

The momentum mechanic is f*&%ing terrible.

Some powers are nerfed AND buffed.

TW is a great example of that. The overall damage output has some of the "you paid real money for this set" damage bonus removed (I can't help but imagine a weapon enhancement that is someone taping dollar bills to a big sword). However, there's also a mechanics change to Momentum that is a fairly big deal QoL-wise and hopefully will make the set less frustrating to play.

This might be of interest to you!

  9. Hello! I'll answer them in order:

    • If you're the only member of the supergroup you're in, it will be gone (including anything inside it), since it can't be transferred over to another shard - you might want to create another character to join it to ensure that it remains
    • You get 5 transfer tokens every three days
    • Outside of the supergroup that you're in, nothing else will be lost

    Hope this clears things up!

    • Thumbs Up 1
