I can’t help but notice a lot of hate on cones. I personally love them but I thought of one way that might make it more useful to players that feel a necessity to see how far and how narrow their cone may be while laying out the assault. My thought is: is it possible to see the area of effect if you held down the attack? Leaving this thought out there. Opinions?

I’d love to see an expensive build on this as well. With guarded spin, I’m adamant that all defenses could be soft capped. I’ll try building one when I get home. 🙌🏻

I also learned this as of recent. Did you know that there is also a console on that tower that you can click on to disable all the turrets? It’s something that most ITF teams rarely need to click on but it’s good to know for a team that may have troubles.

QFT. Honestly, my take on placate is this: ”Useless in PvE, lifesaver in PvP.” Playing solo could find its uses but it’s really not needed at all thanks to ATO proc. Even when I solo AVs, I have little to no need since I’m just trying to build focus and waiting for my hide proc to shoot off.

QFT. May I also add, /Earth adds some soft control to the fight with the KB/KD but be sure to focus on those after you have your lockdowns in order. They certainly come in handy when IO’s have been applied and you can keep your foes down and really add some power to your punches. You’ll be getting a lot of enemy aggroe as is...don’t piss off the bees before you smoke them first.

I’ve had a lot of good times with my dark/devices blaster. Not the greatest DPS but still solid. The -tohit from dark really syncs well with devices. The goal here is to hit the range def cap and keeping enemies at bay. When I solo, I go group to group and set up with a trip mine and hover. I start my chain with torrent (be sure to slot a proc to convert kB to KD, I recommend the overwhelming force set for the KB protection) and afterwards tenebrous/soul tentacles to keep enemies locked down. From their, I normally snipe (instant snipe) any leftovers and siphon life for any health recovery. This mixed with my nuke really just keeps me going from group to group! ❤️
