I fully support this, both for trans/genderfluid/genderqueer/agender rights as well as for characters inspired by the likes of Starhawk (sometimes) or Ranma Saotome, who switch between male and female forms.

I know this is a little off topic, but can you explain this? I'm interested in doing the same, and having a bind that just toggles "travel power" instead of a specific travel power. Is it literally just something like '/bind [key] "powexecname [power1] powexecname [power2]" etc?

May I make a suggestion? A lot of people who are into this idea might not a)fit into such a limited-size squad or b)like the 'Sailor Moon but guys' angle, so I propose a coalition of Sentai/Magical Girl/mecha pilot/whatever-inspired teams. The SGs keep their own unique styles of course, but the coalition imposes no stylistic elements, but merely asks that the SGs stick to their concept and also sometimes help one another out, like when, say, Sailor Moon was looking for Sailor Venus and she turned out to be Naoko Takeuchi's previous creation Sailor V, for example.

Getting that email welcoming me to the closed beta, logging on, fighting my way through the Outbreak, and staring up at the Atlas statue. It was like a whole new world for me. It was my first MMO since I had quit EverCrack a few years before, and it fueled an addiction that until CoH came back by way of our current GMs/hosts, I had only recently been able to break.

Back on Virtue I was a dedicated RPer. That said, I've fallen out of practice, but I rolled my first two characters on Everlasting specifically a)because one of them is a remake/update of my old main M2 (the name was either taken - which means either someone remembered me enough to steal it, or it's a generic enough name to have been taken for another purpose, or the rumors are true and the server team actually does have the database of all the old characters - or some code was changed and now M2 is too short a name), and b)because I want to try to get back in the swing of the RP thing.

Back in the official Cryptic/NCSoft days, I ran with a SG on Virtue called Terata ('Monsters' in Greek, basically heroes themed after movie/game/literature monsters), I believe it was led by someone based on the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm, RIP) from the Phantasm movies. I'm pretty sure there were some Lovecraft-inspired members. I don't remember if I was one of them or just worked with them, but the idea did cross my mind from time to time.

I'm a huge fan of the concept myself. Even the ones with a significant difference to appearance (rather than just a color shift and, if exposed, hairstyle type of thing), like Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac style. If OP is still thinking of doing this and hasn't found their full squad yet, I'd be more than happy to dedicate one of my character slots to a Sentai-style team.

Any of the original devs (except any who might still be working for NCSoft or Cryptic, if any, unless that was a sign that we were unofficially okayed rather than one that they were watching). Positron and War Witch were always cool. Also, since no one has replied to my post yet I don't know if they're around, but any Young Phalanx members, especially Back Yard Boom, the SG's founder and leader iirc.

Don't know if anyone would remember me, but I was M2 ('Manticore Jr') in the YP, and I don't remember the name I used in Terata back in the day. Also incidentally was OmegaX in Freedom Reborn (SG made up of people from the unofficial/modding forums for the "Freedom Force" games, appropriately enough on the Freedom server). Hoping to find out if any of the old crews (especially Terata and YP) are about. Also, I know this isn't the place for this, but if it's true that the server hosts have a database with all the old accounts/characters, like was rumored when the S.C.o.R.E. project got leaked, then there may be someone running around technically having, if they so desired, access to my old characters, because I tried to register under the name I was using back then (OmegaX), and both forum and game accounts with that name already exist.
