  1. The sets basically complete. Preliminary numbers already set and comparable to other control sets, as set by the original devs. also small nitpick to an earlier reply, I didn’t pick inky darkness powers or icy ice powers, I picked the ones that would fit best for the set, and are more windy than anything. XD
  2. This. Lol and I wrote an extensive list of decent or great visuals, some rarely or never used (desert winds anybody?). And if it’s possible to change the default color to grey on them all, power effects are obviously different, Bam looks and feels like the completely new power set it is. And you put yourself in the hole of ‘i won’t play it if it’s rehashed vfx,’ but also can’t play it if it’s not available. Hate to break it to you but a whole new set of brand new animations at the quality of new power sets at release isn’t happening. The devs we have are awesome and great, and voluntarily contribute as they can and like. And our best hope is something like this. Take it or leave it, and if or when it happens it’s up to you and everyone whether they play it or not. More than anything I’m just happy to play again. Second more than anything tho, I want wind control lol.
  3. They are fun mechanics. The pet was pretty wild, for those few minutes I tested it. And even using reused animations for 3 of its 4 things, it’s play style was completely different than existing pets. And when it dropped that ‘hail of debris’... and that neverbefore seem Vfx... the part of me that had been waiting for wind control for ten years when I posted it on the old coh forums pretty much had a gaming-gasm. Then i cried a little. Then I made this OP. Lol funny because I think wind control among other power sets originally leaked a few days before the announcement of closure. That week was both the happiest and saddest of my life lol.
  4. well, its not guaranteed, they havent said theyre working on it. my op was just a positive suggestion 😕 but having done something similar with Rad, i was thinking it miiiiiight be possible for wind control since the pool and powers themselves are done and work, even the like set buff of air pressure. only missing fx. and theres plenty of wind and wind like existing fx assets, that maybe its possible, and easier than something like a mish mashed set using powers from multiple pools.
  5. But like, if you won’t play it either way (as in not existing or existing using ported fx) then what does it matter. It’s a super cool set and wind powers exist from other sets, so other people could enjoy it. I think the rad sets are awesome, but of course thats my opinion. Yours is valid too 🙂 I dunno how difficult it is to creat new powers animations, but I’m sure it’s a heck of a lot easier to use existing in game assets *shrug*
  6. Hello! Wind control is an almost completed powerset, functionally working and only really missing completed animations. But, as with other powersets in HC, namely some radiation ports, existing animations could be used. Currently the wind control powerset consists of the nine main powers, and four pet powers, all except one using placeholder animations pulling from Ice and Gravity mostly. ONE existing power, belonging to the pet** uses an animation made for the powerset. Below, I list the powers existing in the code and working, and suggest alternate best case scenario Existing Animation Assets ports [to either replace or add as alternate's to default, if that's easier] to publish the powerset for us all. 🙂 At the end is a list of wind or wind like powers that can also be pulled from.   7. my biggest suggestion for poison is to port some of the animations as alternates, from the Sewers DFB boss, making it green and splashy instead of shooting a green ball from your wrist, and add a minor DoT to one more of the targeted AoE's, and ad minor damage to the hold. BAM will be #1 powerset in game lol.

  9. was there ever a finished version of wind control, in leandro's version? it seems, based on Icon and the Pine's Hero Designer that all the numbers and power effects are there, all it needed was fx. But there are plenty of Wind based or windy-looking powers that could be overlayed onto the set [so using existing assets, like some other sets they did], so i wonder if it ever happened? or was/is possible?
  10. Hi! Would it / will it be possible to unlock the character creator to have the complete list of options, like the NPC/Icon character creator we have access to also through tequila. There are so many awesome pieces that would greatly improve the creator with more options like Belladonna/Ghost Widow Hair, Roman Cimerora costume pieces [so many!], back and cape combinations, and so forth. I'm not a coder so I have no idea how easy or difficult this would be, but my saved costumes from icon will load and present my full costumes, but just forces me to 'fix' the costumes to match the i24 costume creator. If that 'fix button could simply be disabled? not sure. Thoughts?
