  1. I played an Invuln/Axe Tanker when the game went live till about 2012. Invuln was almost boring because you could handle any number of mobs, and do massive pulls including PL maps. I didn't need healers, or defenders most of the time. Rikti mezzers could be a pain. I gotta try it again to see, damage was not great however.
  2. I played Sharpe: Inv/Axe Tanker since the beginning and Drina: Fire/Storm Controller Like most people I played a lot of alts, but those were the toons I played a great deal. Sharpe was always in demand for TF's and whatever since he was basically unkillable. I had an SG called Knights Python with a cool base. Global is @Drina
  3. with my Fire/Fire Sentinel I slotted Fire Breath with Range … but it's becoming more of a PBAoE set with Inferno, Rain of Fire and Burn. Rain of Fire is ranged. Burn is too punish anything in melee range and Inferno is a board clear which needs recharge mostly.

  5. Could someone post a link for MIDs 1.962 Issue 25? Not Cohplanner... that's old PC Windows version I see people posting builds for Sentinels, but they are linking to the old version of Mids Issue 23 which does not include Sentinel.

  7. Tier 1 ... that means Flares in Fire Blast or Neutrino Bolts in Rad for example are required for offensive opportunity??
  8. Do you have to take the first power in your set to trigger the tier 1 opportunity bar, in my case Flares. I have skipped it initially. I think it's a waste of a slot. If you can skip it what is a tier one/tier 2 power then? Also people are saying it's OK to not take powers you don't like and that you don't need to worry about the opportunity bar.

    I'm not a fan of Flares. Is there a reason to take it? Seems like you would have plenty of attacks and it's mostly filler. I usually pass on the first available lower power attacks in just about any powerset.
  11. I dunno ... but I just made a Fire/Fire Sentinel, as Fire secondary has some good damage boost. Invul is a great power set but I like it more for Tankers than Scrappers for instance.
  12. I loved playing Fire Storm, I made one again! Starting out take Char and don't take the first power Ring of Fire. Don't take O2 Burst, Smoke (although it has it's uses) I think I slotted mostly for damage and recharge later. Gale can help get guys off you but don't bother to add slots to it. Freezing Rain is great. Focus on getting to 32 to get your Imps! After that it's glorious!
