  1. Hi There! I use this build for Hover farming, works for fire and S & L farms as well. You really do want to stay up and away out of melee range. This works great for any and all other content, like Trials, etc. It's not cheap obviously. I was using Atom Smasher for awhile, and found it wasn't part of the rotation. Typical rotation is to Nuke a group with Geyser after pumping it with Ionize and Tidal Forces. Then throw down Bonfire and Whirlpool. Bonfire works really well with this AT. 2. My current projects are: Almost finished my Rad/Fire Brute on a Farming Account then after that: Ada Darwin Plant/Psychic Dominator (48) Electra Kat Savage/Electric Armor Stalker (26) Drina Illusion / Traps Controller (5) after that I would do a Claws/Bio Scrapper I think
  3. Quite welcome! I don't use Divine Avalanche a whole lot, but I use it when I see my melee defense meter drops into the red (which is why I slotted it for Defense) when attacked by mobs that have lethal attacks that drop my defense (mostly when farming) , Divine Avalanche clears it right up. You can also use it to mule defense slots like Luck of the Gambler, Shield Wall. Kismet etc. Good luck! Making Unleash potential perma, I don't know if it's possible. You would have to reduce the recharge to 60s.
  4. Hi! If I was playing your set I think this is how I would play it. I play a Inv/Katana Tanker and I have a Titan W/Radiation Brute so I am familiar with both powersets. One thing about Resistance Tankers is Fighting powers are mostly overkill. I refuse to take it on Tankers, but that's just me. I was able to max out the 90% Resistance Cap fairly easily without taking Tough. Also you didn't take Build Up or, Divine Avalanche, which is a big mistake as DI gives you a lot of Melee Defense if you keep spamming it. Builld up is good for unleashing AoE's. 80% Damage Increase! I don't take Fighting on my Tanker. One thing I did do on my tanker was get the Force of Will set Unleash Potential is a really underrated "oh shit" Power, it gives considerable Defense to All, lasts quilte awhile. But you could use Meltdown for the damage buff and then have 2 free power slots. So you can use it before Alpha's or if things start to go to hell and it has no downside. Anyway I play an Inv Tank and Unstoppable has a huge downside whereas Meltdown is pretty decent. Actually you could take both. 5. I second, third, whatever, that Carrion Creepers is too good not to slot. Otherwise, why even go Plant? You could definitely drop 2 slots from Fly Trap and and probably Ice Storm.
  6. I'm 69! Graduated in the class of 1969. I still feel like a young whippersnapper (LOL) I grew up in Evergreen Colorado, and have resultant love of nature, gardening. I would be still working but this Covid thing put my job on a backburner, so I've been meditating a lot in the Tibetan style.
  7. I'm leveling a Plant, Psi, Ice right now, based on my research on this board. I am really happy with the way it's all working together. I really like the Fire Control Set, but I am trying out something new that I haven't tried before.
  8. Hi Croax! I really appreciate your input there. That build does look pretty solid and fills in some of the gaps I was having. I will take a look at your guide.
  9. Version 3 .... more tweaking. Added Fury of the Gladiator chance for Res Debuff to Savage Leap and change Shred to Armageddon x5, keeping Achilles Heel. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1530;733;1466;HEX;| |78DA65945B4F134114C767DBADD0D20AA5E54EA180506861698507B9498CA051684| |2D20FD06C708486DA36DBC580E883DFC06B7C112F89CF7E0263C42F2022E0837E00| |5F441F143186D4C39E3F60DC4936BF9973E65CE69C994D2E4D785F5EBC3D2E14DFF| |9AC5E2CA653A69E5D90467972D1D4CD4C3E2768F826B372C134F4F054C63497CB48| |D2886DE9A4CC4AA9A5F4EBFA9CE445CBA16A425E95B9A2D4C878D63432B3E973C6B| |5BCE1BF949B9786CC99DAE1C43B93CF67B569A91732B9399FB5B890999B3769E5B1| |56A9829457FCD634A9E73285C5AC9559C3642133AB1D464BE517B3E9A45E34A5B15| |C4F19C6E87BD52D304A2E71471522A10AC75DF01E53BD0F3E60763C640EB9C94CB1| |6C1551A358B2BE20F335F95558E752D61C420454E11973583AEF197098191C65B60| |D3187C9AF13B6CEDF4E4B76E207F89359BE0BFE627AF6985B14D785F3B89638CFAA| |65F006B37A05E7B809DE628E50DC328EEB28439C9307714344F8AFA3D6BAD9BFE2F| |ECCF9567F622AA4AB609DA828D110A3B4D5078F3E9CA00B9EBBE0719B32AE44152B| |5F90A7205564952B564B1EFDB0F7A3C211543852C53C4B3102BC47044608AA22DE9| |0CF1A54A1E6319FAE76157CC2AC7F0A3E63763D678E91BF3AE453779A73ECAB57AC| |2AAC91DF0674A6619D758DEFC10D66CB077013DC628E93DF26D836B5B1AC390CB63| |2A32DCC44086C663AA90E21B67586E27CEE530970001C64BEA51C5B71F6D63FDC99| |F03E6E98E06E865704CB771CD6BA6D9CE37C21B4B3ADB37D93F744DE31FB37C075A| |64A3975724E6A277AD2831EF5A0373D01BC8A7D61C5D9F30AC10FAEA476FB591785| |4D6F3508DBFE20D7BC9DE2C4D08F588C63F7821FC999861BA741D641FBE3B8A171D| |CD0046E68937AF4DA4BCDC7F38325DDD6A9E8B1366AD3C66D92844D3260930CDA24| |D336C98C8ADF0849144BE2AE12079DB232F9EA39FA9340FBED5FC9659A4454B163D| |BF5FD58A2288FF8FCD15DBEE33272F4E7FA7F4C066807547F012EEA146D| |-------------------------------------------------------------------| Stalker Savage Electric.mxd
  10. Made some changes... I slotted some Defense Debuff into Shred and moved Stalker's Guile to Hemmorage. Shred will now apply greater defense debuffs and the Achille's Heel Resistance debuff. 11. Spirit, can you (or someone else) share your Thugs Time Build? I have almost leveled my TT MM up all the way but am finding it dissapointing. I have a friend who absolutely loves the build and is doing really well with it. OP, great post! I can relate, maybe MM's aren't for everyone 😞
  12. Hi Everyone! I've made a Savage Melee Electric Armor Stalker Build for your perusal. I haven't done a Stalker yet. Right now I have 3 toons that are completely kitted out, KAT/Inv Tanker, TW/Rad Brute & Water/Atomic Blaster I heard Savage Melee was good. I wanted to try some thing different so I am trying Electric Armor. I like how Resistance sets play. I had really good results with Rad Armor on my Brute and also with Invulnerability on my Tanker. One reason I went with Electric Armor as it has the highest resist for a Stalker, making it easy to cap S/L damage. I prefer Resist Mitigation, vs Defense, but that is just may play style. It's been really fun to play right out of the box. That is really encouraging! Ideas and feedback are appreciated, like I say, I haven't done a Stalker before. After looking at other builds, I slotted procs into Savage Leap, not sure how many procs to slot there. I didn't slot an Incarnate on this posting but I Agility Incarnate would bump up the Defence about 1.5%, not a lot really. Power Pools Choice: Defence is a little light on this one, so I am planning to take Shadowmeld from Soul Mastery as it provides all around Defence and can be used as an oh shit button, or at the start of most attacks with a 30S Recharge if Hasten is running. I skipped the last two powers from ElecArmor as I heard Power Sink wasn't worth taking and Power Surge has the same dowside as Unstoppable which I have currently replaced on my Inv Tank. I rarely use it anyway. Right now I have over 24 KB Protection which is overkill, I could maybe skip Grounded or slot Travel Powers differently. I like the Defense you get for slotting 2 Zephy's. Grounded seems to make you Immune to Sappers? (???) Which since I really hate Malta could be fun times. Should I take Placate, as it seems like the Stalker version is useful? I was also considering taking Provoke to help out on teams if they need an off tank. 13. Hi There! People were saying how great Ice is with Plant anything ... this is my take on Plant / Psi / Ice I think it meets the criteria for Recharge, soft capping Ranged Defense, etc. You could of course use another Epic Power Pool if desired. Incarnate is Nerve Radial Paragon Plant Psi Ice Dominator.mxd
  14. /macro "Python" enterbasefrompasscode KNIGHTSPYTHON-4818 Excelsior Server. Knights Python. This is work in progress, but I've spent a lot of time .. so there it is.
  15. Everything seems to want to go on the ground! I have seen bases where people were seated on chairs, and items were placed on tables. What's the trick to changing their elevation?
  16. The Knights Python Magical base is being shared for your use. It's full of calming water sounds and atmospheric effects, and has everything one might need. However you might have to explore a bit. It's my base, so I make no apologies. /macro "Python" enterbasefrompasscode KNIGHTSPYTHON-4818
  17. Very cool! Definitely a labour of love.
  18. It does feel super clunky during the level up process, but once you slot out a build, it freakin' "rocks the Casbah." But I think perhaps the "slow" mechanics might be a balancing factor in that people get turned off while leveling.
  19. I slotted Chance for Healing and Chance for Endurance into Gamma Boost into my Radiation Powerset. Enhancement unslotters are cheap so I may play around with it some more.
  20. IronJuke

    Best Brute

I've tried several and I am finding Titan Weapons to be my favorite primary thus far. I tried Spines/Fire and Electric/Shield Defense. I went TW/Radiation. The playability is just of that combo is really, really great. Radiation has Ground Zero, which I slotted with some Defense Debuff and I took Melt Armor from Pyre Mastery and slotted that out with Defense Debuffs as well. Highest Damage Brute would probably be TW/BIO Armor. I have an INV Tanker, and played one in the original game. I am partial to that for Tankers, but it's less effective on Brutes, although can of course be compensated now. I played an SS/Inv Brute in CoV. Wasn't too enamored of the combo, and I felt squishy.
  21. I find the playstyle definetly comes together once you slot out your build. I leveled to 50's with just IO's and didn't slot any powers. Once I hit 50 and got my build all slotted out ... it was seriously Worth The WAIT! It is a bit clunky leveling, but once you get a halfway decent build Momentum is rocking most of the time. Prior to that during leveling be prepared for long animations. Still decent damage. But it didn't take very long to level.
  22. I dunno, I tried Titan Weapons (TW/Rad) and once I hit 50 and got my build all slotted out ... it was seriously Worth The WAIT! It is a bit clunky leveling, but once you get a halfway decent build Momentum is rocking most of the time. Prior to that be prepared for long animations. Still decent damage. If Whirling Smash is not Meta... I dunno what is.
  23. I solved the problem by using the Sweet Tea Launcher. I could never solve the issue with Tequila and Cream Soda. https://www.reddit.com/r/Cityofheroes/comments/debb98/sweettea_new_launcher_due_to_major_security_issues/
  24. It's not a network issue, because I can paste the xml in my browser and it will download. Tequila or CreamSoda both have the same issue. They can't process the request for the manifest. But network access is not a problem. I tried turning off my firewall and anti-virus and got the same result. Also other PC's seem to work fine, on the network. I did a Windows update recently, I was wondering if it somehow hosed things up. But aside from Tequila, everything is working fine. I did not fully update windows as it had an issue, but then I was unable to do a system restore from the Save Point I made prior to the update.
