    Getting back on track I do honestly think a more minimal FX option for Kheldians is something desired, not talking about DPS or anything like that but a way to use the forms that doesn't fully overwrite your costume with 1 of two presets (Dwarf or Nova) and if something is desired enough and will encourage people to play the AT to it's full extent (using the forms) then I am all for it ❤️

    Yeah it isn't fully shapeshifting but it's a possible solution to what @Vic Raiden is suggesting ❤️

    So similar to the way the hero Vixen does from DC, where it shows the form (With a slight transparency) over your player when you switch into the form and then either vanishes leaving you as human only or with it constantly as a transparent form on top of yours (I still want to poll what people will prefer on the post I make). This is something I have checked with Devs and is possible but not as a minor thing so could be something in the rework 🙂

    Both builds can be seen on my guide alongside the damage numbers beside them ❤️ Both have some attacks procced out, others not depending on what is needed to make it a build that can be used in content outside of just Pylon DPS checks 😄

    One of the big asks from me personally coming to the rework is a "Minimal FX" option, not a zero FX and I do feel like I found a great way to do that so people who like their costume can still enjoy it whilst getting full use out of the forms, I am still writing it up at the moment however and don't want to post it early as like @Shin Magmus mentioned the last time I made a post without it being 100% complete the same small missed data point kept reappearing in the comments despite it being answered there and the thread got locked 😞

    However to clear up sort efficiency numbers where I have done completed builds on the live servers with multiple tests to see how far it can be pushed:

    Human:

    Sustained DPS - 324


    Changeling:
    Sustained DPS - 767

    Those tests were both done without using not 100% active buffs (So no active hybrid, destiny, summons etc) as otherwise Changeling comes out miles ahead as you can easily destroy a pylon within the time frame of hybrid being up 24/7 which sky rockets it even more. So although Shin isn't 100% right, you are fighting at less then half the DPS of a Changeling, and that is with Changeling not being the best DPS in the first place so you are doing less then half the DPS of a sub par DPS AT. And with procs in the forms of changeling you are getting healed and a bit of end every other time you shift form so that helps keep you alive, also allowing you to use taunt and (For Peacebringers) their dwarf aoe attack to taunt.

    But saying all that, and I may get a bit of hate for this, but play how you want ❤️ If you want to play a human only that is fine and 100% okay, but it does mean others are allowed to not bring them along to end game content (Which most players don't even do so no loss 😂) I understand the desire of the original post and I do think there is a middle ground that can be reached ❤️

    I do fully understand the desire to not have to take the form of the dwarf and nova as a lot of people dedicate a lot of time into the costume ❤️ I would personally prefer a "Minimal FX" option when it comes to the forms where you still have a bit of detail of the form but it doesn't overwrite your costume (Tentacles out the back for nova, Dwarf ethereal power gloves)

    I form in the SG base for a multitude of reasons ❤️

    1 - Allows me to get a full league before we leave (Unlike zones like RWZ)
    2 - Portals to each other zone so it takes 5 seconds to grab a HVAS or get your 2x xp modifer
    3 - You can form co op teams in there so not really a downside.

    Without wanting to come across as hostile, you just need to copy and paste the code posted in the advert? I wouldn't of thought that was too high a barrier (Though people often struggle to press the green enter button 🤣)

    Build & Notes:

    Build is the same as last time. Except this time I switched out two regular damage procs for FOTG and the Decimation proc. As well as picking up The recharge base buff, the Aura of Mot, and the Anger Monument.

     

    ...all to get the same 23s time as before. :classic_biggrin:

     

    Could probably get it lower by grinding it out ala the ski slope. (Or by the build being piloted by someone who's played Kheldians for longer than 20 minutes since 2012.) I imagine weaving in "burnout>inner light>photon seekers" at the 10s mark might also work. Plus there's also Judgement, Envenomed Daggers, or the Annihilation proc. Might be able to shave some time off with all that.

    (Although opening with Judgement probably isn't wise on a PB that can get 23s without it. Because Pyronic's arcanatime time is 1.188 and the Animation Time Before Effect is 0.6. So that means after the damage hits, you're doing 0 DPS for 0.588s. Which, works out to losing 1055.5 damage. On top of this, the 0.6s where you are doing damage, you're doing 1132.83DPS, which means you're losing another 662.24 damage compared to just jumping straight into your regular attack chain.)

     

    Honestly? The biggest swing factor in my testing this was whether or not the BU procs double-stacked.

    If you watch the buff bar in the video, you'll see this little icon show up a lot:     BUproc.gif.feea18d3ba9c7e502626bc068936d499.gif. That's the BU proc.

    That's an amazing time!!! I thought you were testing for the Flea Cup still when I saw you but 23 seconds is amazing! ❤️ And good insight with the judgement, I was taking into account the cast time but not the time after the effect!

    A shame you didn't catch that 8 second time on camera! 😄

    But this does highlight the importance of new records should provide proof if only for peace of mind ❤️ I know personally I see pylon videos like Moogs and it gives me something to strive for and aim for, encouraging me to be the player I am today (I used to think a below 60 time on a PB was impossible lol!)

    When it comes to screenshots I am wary since I have seen some before where the run has been cheated despite the person being a respected player in the community, that isn't to say any run posted is cheated but it helps put my mind at ease of "This is possible and you can do it" 🙂
