  1. @Hjarki Is Cross Punch worth adding to the attack chain, DPS-wise? I knew Assassinate and Moonbeam were core to a strong ST rotation, but had not heard of Cross Punch being used as well. I guess this means you'd also want to take boxing/kick to add damage? Been wanting to build a ?/Energy stalker, and this information is super helpful! I haven't seen it mentioned in the thread, but Savage Melee is supposedly one of the highest, if not the highest, single target DPS. This is primarily due to the way using Hemorrhage from Hide interacts. Something about the auto-crit and the 5x 'bleeds' that Hemorrhage applies makes it actually do more damage the Assassinate.
  2. I like your build @Warlawk! I made some tweaks to it... The main intent here was to see if I could add in Ripper for the attack chain, primarily for the FF proc (5s of 100% recharge). I've kind of been wanting Ripper lately now that I've been doing the 2x INF lvl 49 farms with EBs. The EBs are always the last to die, and I feel if I can group 2-3 of them together and just keep up the AoE attacks but throw in Ripper directed at the EBs with FF procs, that might speed up clears. Don't actually know how often it would proc, but it hits hard and has a longer animation time, which I think would result in the proc occuring a little more frequently? I also have realized (and noticed you took advantage of it in your build) that +recovery isn't really necessary once you have T4 ageless! Anyway, here's the build : Villain Plan by Hero Villain Designer 2.23 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Still debating on Tank vs Brute for this... but from what I've read, the TW damages for Tankers aren't as 'tuned down' compared to other secondaries. So originally I wanted to depend on Defensive Sweep for the +Melee DEF, but then I realized that WP is mostly typed defenses so that kinda threw a wrench in that plan. Defensive Sweep does still give +Smashing DEF, but not Lethal unfortunately. Still kind of going with that idea, though, with S/M DEF at just below 40%, meaning still pretty good DEF to Lethal, but easily capped with 1 Defensive Sweep swing for Smashing. Didn't really plug up the Psi hole, but decently covered (32% DEF, 57% RES). TONS of recovery, however, to keep TW swinging! Also, lots of +movement speed, so I didn't take a travel power. Also, no perma-hasten unfortunately. I do have FF proc in Whirling Smash, though, so can probably get 2 of those off per minute. Which would translate to roughly 20s of 100% recharge boost while hasten is up (assuming 2 procs per minute on avg), which I *think* would bring it into perma range. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions please! Still learning how to properly IO a character... still not really sure what to shoot for other than defensive caps and perma hasten. Haven't gotten to incarnates yet. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 2.22 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 4. Two quick questions - 1. How often do you find you use ice arrow (in conjunction with ESD)? I'm thinking of swapping it out for glue arrow. However that'd change the set bonuses ofc so would have to check that. 2. I'm not really sure how -ToHit works, but thoughts on taking flash arrow? It doesn't aggro mobs, so you can cast it on literally every single mob before you fight. It has a base of 5% -ToHit, so would that effectively be '5% increased defense'? Unless of course the mobs naturally have +ToHit, but not sure what mobs have that. I like your build overall! Mine is very similar. I'm playing with dipping into the Sorcery pool for Rune of Protection, but no matter what you do you can't make it perma so not sure if it's worth it. 90s of +~20-25% to all resistances is pretty good though, plus mez protection.
  5. Thoughts on the build below? Very similar to your build, Redlynne, but I tried to make it a little more 'greedy'. I feel like I do ... okay damage, but I'd like to feel my personal contribution a little more. I figure adding another pet in (unfortunately not perma, unless maybe enough FF procs) and slotting more damage/procs would help with that. One thing I noticed is that WAWG wasn't working well for me. Majority of mobs were dead by the time I used WAWG and maybe VG/HB (at lvl ~50 content). Instead, I'll just let someone else open (since really I'm a dmg/support), then just stick to VG -> HB -> FG -> whatever. Plus I slotted FG with KB->KD, so it'll work as a bit of CC. I probably will miss the Entropic Chaos healing proc, and I definitely won't be a great soloist with this build due to little CC (maybe could work with one of the other pets?). Another thing I found was that Intuition rather than Musculator might be a better Alpha incarnate. You lose some damage, but you gain hold duration, range, and defense debuff. The range, especially, let's me slot HB with an additional proc. You lose 12% damage, but part of it is lost to ED anyway so it's probably not so bad. I'm thinking I could maybe drop tactics too (attacks have -def, plus all attacks have some accuracy, and still will have TT:L on), but I'd need to find another place to get +rech. Anyway, curious to hear your thoughts! Villain Plan by Mids' Villain Designer 2.22 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 6. So I've got a few questions (relatively new to end game builds and completely new to SoA). 1. Why do you fill out Frag Grenade with Force Feedback enhancements? Wouldn't you want to avoid the knockback, and also maybe give it some more damage instead? 2. Is 6 slotting WAWG mainly to utilize the set you've put in it? (Trap of the Hunter) 3. How important are Vengeance and Victory Rush? I see both abilities in a lot of builds, but I've never seen anyone in game actually use them... 4. Thoughts on putting 'better' enhancements in single shot / burst? Some other set that gives more raw stats? I feel like the chance for heal isn't all that useful either. I saw somewhere that generally damage procs (or -res procs) in attacks are recommended. I know you were probably after the recharge set bonus though. 5. What do you recommend for incarnates for your Spider Crab build? 6. I saw in your archived thread that you were considering updating the build to include ATO enhancements and possibly others, such as Overwhelming Force. However I don't see any of those enhancements in your current build links. Did you not see a good spot to slot those? Thanks for all the info by the way, I'm enjoying my Huntsman so far (lvl 35ish) but hoping to understand the intentions behind the build a little better.
