  1. No that's not it. I know you WANT to find a reason for what you think, but trust me, that's NOT it. the power is just bugging, plain and simple. I have even started a mob with it, and only it, and what i hit, did damage, but ZERO confuse. If you look at that second video, that capo gunner even gets hit, you can see the damage, but then he goes right on to attack me again. This isn't the only instance where this is occurring for me. Maybe somehow, the bug is paired simply BY being /ff, i know it makes no sense, but this power is 100% bugging. on it's own. It could even be an instance where, the confuse IS on a separate hit check than the damage (which it 100% shouldn't be), but as i stated earlier, against a -14 skull boss, there is NO way that it "missed" the confuse 4-5 times in a row. Like i said again, it's not just an animation thing (which could ALSO be happening, but that's not the main issue here). The issue is, they are STILL attacking me/team after being hit by the power when they shouldn't.
  2. Only sleeps now have a different hit check for the sleep vs damage cause it's an autohit. No reason why this vs any other damaging control would have a separate hit check than the damage. I thought that as well, and THAT might be where the bug is, but it SHOULDN'T have a separate hit check for the confuse vs the damage.
  3. I didn't say it didn't work every time, some/most of the times it does work, but it's unreliable. If you skip to the time I say to, you can clearly see that sometimes it just plain doesn't confuse at all even though it should.
  4. Nope, that 2nd video I just posted I wasn't hovering. Two examples, (there could be more) where it just plain doesn't work. Watch those videos and you can see. I doubt somehow it's just MY character that's bugged, but as you can see if the video, it's clearly happening on the power at random.

  7. Holy crap FINALLY got it working, and got it on video, at 2:02, sorry for the long video just skip to that timer. This was a brand new mob, as you can see if you watch earlier, no resistance/protection to the confuse, in line of sight. Sorry, even cutting the video down to 6s it still says it's too large to upload here??? Anyway, Focus on 2:02 is where it starts, and you can see if needed before it that the group was untouched. You can also see, that there is no DOT (ie cause no confuse) on the enemy i hit then.
  8. Doubt hover has anything to do with it, but try hovering and just direct line of sight using it. Cause that's all I was doing when it repeatedly would not confuse. Also going insane trying to get my video recording to work. Reached out to microsoft, did something but didn't work. When i hit the hotkey, I can see the little circle moving near the cursor, but still nothing happens. AMD radeon 570 i think. Maybe someone could video it happening with to show it. Yeah, just did it again, hovering, even level capo gunner, it hit, did damage, didn't move, they were slept, and it didn't confuse at ALL. Someone want to help record it? I'm on Everlasting.
  9. Yeah that's where I went :/. Just says how, which I did but not why its not working :(. Attack hits, does damage, but no confuse, enemy attacks me repeatedly (ie more than first hit, which also needs fixed) Yup, like flash freeze as well, should be fixed too. Though I imagine the timing being harder for sleeps cause they wake up, but for a confuse power, should definitely have the confuse hit before the damage (even if we're talking milliseconds, they shouldn't attack you first). Same as does almost everyone. I feel like it's more noticeable in a group/big mob, but probably because trying to solo make it happen, it's like watching a pot boil, and of course harder to get to show, but I have seen it solo testing too.

  11. Though this wouldn't explain stacking it 5-6 times on that -14 skull boss and still not confusing, doubt the "streak" would have been 4 "overpowers" in a row. I feel fairly certain it is a bug related to the "dot only if they're confused" mechanic. Compared to many other powers that do damage and control both, it's never been an issue. That's the only mechanic for a power like this that's new and is creating a new bug behavior.
  12. Since it's the only ST confuse that this happens with, my theory is that it is somehow related to it dealing the damage and the confuse flag for the DOT to occur. Or because the damage applies before the confuse does somehow. Like i said with that one tsoo minnion too, it did confuse once, but only lasted about a second before the confuse wore off (where it should have lasted 20ish seconds). So it may be a bug with the mag or duration, but again, it's random. Either way, it's definitely bugging, and so far from everything i'm testing, it's random. (definitely not LoS, though that could ALSO possibly cause a bug, but i've just been hovering in open areas for these tests so it's not that, and even thinking if some impossible way, another npc was causing the LoS break, which this game doesn't do, i specifically remember 5-6 stacking on that level 8 skull boss in PP where nothing was in the way of the LoS.) So far, i haven't tested enough to see if it's occurring on the Dom also. So it could be a bug also on controllers only related to containment too somehow, but i'm fairly certain that tsoo minnion test, I cast serenade first thing, so shoudln't have had an interference. I will say though, it doe seem percentage wise that it may be somehow related to the "overpower" part of containment. Instead of overpowering, it is instead reducing the duration to 1/10th of what it should be, at least on that tsoo minnion test. I've hit even level lt's with it where it just outright didn't confuse at all, not even for the 2ish seconds.
  13. Unfortunately, no that's not it. While it may cause a separate bug to occur, it is not the initial bug i'm describing. In all scenarios I described including the most recent one from a few hours ago, line of sight was not broken at all. Near as I can tell, it's simply a random bug with the power. I've even tried activating between other powers to see if they have an interaction with it, and doesn't seem to be the case. Trying like hell to get recording working, have amd radeon and enabled the ReLive but the hotkey to start recording does nothing :/.
  14. Level 23, against an even level capo muscle Family. Confused fine once. let it wear off, confuse hit again, but NOTHING. confused it again, it worked the 3rd time. I had the power analyzer on him the whole time. That 2nd time that serenade hit, no confuse, not just animation, no confuse on his status protection at all. It's VERY noticeable if you keep testing it, unless somehow the bug only exists in the 20s or something. It's most DEFINITELY there.
  15. It's also annoyingly noticeable, that fine, it does damage so it can't NOT notify them, but the damage hits first, so they get an attack off on you before they're actually confused. This should be fixed as well.
  16. It's not just the graphics, though, its definitely the confuse not working. It's hitting, it's just not confusing. I noticed the elec control has an issue of showing the confuse bubbles when they're not confused too, but that i'm fairly certain is just a graphics bug. This is most definitely a not-being-confused bug. My card is not nvid, it's amd radeon. I'm going to need to figure how to do a video to show clearly, but it happens quite often, i'm honestly surprized you're not noticing it.
  17. Just now, against a +3 tsoo minion, no confuse protection, it did show, and ended before i could even get the power analyzer to pop up. The bug may be in the duration of the power, cause a 30.50s duration at level 23, should last about 20s, not like, 2.
  18. You should definitely be able to see the bug then. Not sure how to take a video, kind of a hard thing to show in a picture cause it just looks like they're not confused.
  19. I didn't get a long time to test it, but so far on the baby dom i made it doesn't seem to be bugging. Is yours a dom too? Cause it was REALLY apparent on the controller that it was bugged.

  21. I noticed that guide is missing what you get from Miss Liberty TF. Don't suppose there is a more recent or more updated guide? Cause I know that miss lib tf gives a component for the agility alpha. Edit, or wait, I think miss lib is the old statesmen tf right?
  22. It's definitely the power. It DOES work sometimes, but VERY noticeably, it will not others. It's not the enemies, even an even level warrior lieutenant, got hit by it, but did not confuse. Skulls, family, etc, it's not an issue with the enemy type, it's an issue with the power.
  23. As stated, this power constantly doesn't confuse the enemy. Even tested it, as a 22 troller, against a level 8 in PP, and it still woudln't confuse, even stacking 5 times on a boss in PP didn't confuse, but it's not specific to bosses. It'll constantly not confuse minnions and lieutenants too. Please fix this.
  24. @GM KalUnless I missed it which I looked fairly thoroughly, I was just looking for what TFs to do specifically to drop certain shard components. IE doing ITF drops ancient nictus fragment. miss liberty drops hero 1 dna sample (i think?) etc. Can you add, or show me wherein this thread, these common shard pieces are acquired, and uncommon too if they drop specifically. A simple list of the pieces and what tfs etc in the alpha shard section would be super helpful.
