Fire/Fire build question

As I'm building out my f/f tank, I'm looking at taking Boxing to extend my single target chain, and eventually Tough and Weave (+ Combat Jump since I already have Super Jump as my travel plan).  Does this sound like a reasonable plan?

I agree on the Force Feedback proc.
And at top-end, with maxed Endurance, increasing ST damage shouldn't REALLY be something you have to worry about.

But it's a good complement with SJ if you also want Acrobatics for KB protection.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Acrobatics offers 8 pts of KB protection while each IO proc offers only 4.  So you'd need two IO procs in two different powers to equal Acrobatics.  At least, if I'm remembering correctly.  I could be wrong.

 

Also, I've never had an issue with KB in any of the AE fire farms: it's only an issue when I run my Fire tank through regular content.  That's why I trained Acrobatics in my standard build, but not my farming build.

And the build in question is for regular content, not farming.

I did fine leveling with just the 4 points of protection, for both my fa and da brutes; both leveled in regular content. I suggest seeing if the IO works for you, if not respecing is easy enough. Then again, if you’re already getting the other two powers for whatever reason, then acrobatics won’t hurt too bad. Personally, I’ll trade a slot for a power every time.

Originally, I did have only 4 pts of KB prot from the universal travel set slotted in SJ, but I kept getting knocked back/down anyway.  That's when I decided to respec into Acrobatics on my regular content build.
