Rad/Rad build seeking input

So I made a rad/rad stalker that I'm pretty happy with the concept and such for, but I'm looking to nail down a build to respec into once I'm closer to the late game (its only about level 20 right now :P). I don't actually know much about specing rad sets out for Brute or Scrapper, or how much of that carries over into Stalker, so a lot of this is just educated guessing. I'm hoping some folks can help me refine it a bit.

Get both of the special effect ATOs at level 10. The chance to Chance to Recharge Build Up is global, so just stick it anywhere you have a slot while levelling. It's a game-changer.

Slot build up for the Chance to Build Up ToHit proc only. The stalker ATO makes Build Up reset its timer to zero so recharge will actually hinder you by lowering the proc rate. With the ATO and the Chance to Build Up in Build Up itself you end up with double-build up a couple of times a minute. It's glorious. That, with the Chance to Hide in assassin's strike, and you'll be doing fairly epic amounts of damage.

Rad has very good endurance management as it is with Gamma Boost - you don't need Agility at all. Drop it for musculature or something.

Ground Zero has a fairly slow recharge, so it is actually a fairly good candidate for a couple of damage procs.

So you're saying to forgo the full Gaussian's set in build up and just slot the proc? I guess that'd free up some slots to put elsewhere... Not sure where though. Maybe some more into Particle Shielding or another recharge redux in Meltdown (or just straight up slotting it for some kind of set bonus)... Hmmmm...  Only real downside of reslotting Ground Zero for procs would be losing the 5% global recharge... Might be able to squeeze it in elsewhere though... Will have to tinker some more with it.

Unless you want the set bonuses, yes. The ATO completely resets the timer on Build Up a couple of times a minute, so you don't need the recharge at all. In fact, recharge slots lower the proc rate, meaning you might end up losing some of the double build up. It's a bit of an IO-loophole but it's there so you might as well abuse the hell out of it.

I mean, go for what you want with Ground Zero. Procs don't crit, so it's not crucial, it just turns a good AoE into a better one. 5% recharge isn't at all bad.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the proc mechanics, some recharge in buildup is fine. As long as the slotted recharge enhancement is less then 50% you should still be at the proc cap for the Gaussian's proc.

you can have 66% rech slotting in buildup and gaussian will be at 90% fire rate.

I go with a single +5 rech at 50.

while leveling I still put 2 rech slots in + gaussian.

even with the global buildup proc there are still times you want buildup to cycle a bit quicker in the event it doesnt fire

I play perma hasten  sav/bio so I have a lot of aoes and usually fire off DNA siphon on the dead bodies before the next group. that will usually trigger it but not always.
