It is what it is. This can be kept in mind for future content with the caveat that it would be team/league dependent and all participants would have to be agreeing to skip it.

In Star Wars everyone has to speed through otherwise people who skip stare at a frozen screen...

You actually can skip cut scenes. When you know they are about to happen, you simply type "brb" into chat and then go refresh your drink and/or use the bathroom.
