Jordan_Lee Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Or May, for that matter... Can we get some holiday events activated? I don't want trick or treating ALL the time, it's just...I haven't been able to do it since 2012. And there is no promise Homecoming will be here until October (obviously hope it will be). Just to scratch an itch, maybe a weekend for Halloween? A week of Christmas?
Jordan_Lee Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 Yes, I did know that. But I would like the presents, winter lord, candy canes, etc.
Super Homer Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Not the same, but maybe request a GM to spawn some winter lords if you see any doing crazy stuff?
Healix Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I think that those will happen for just the holiday event. Forever grateful to be back in my city!
Dr. Gemini Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 It would be cool to cycle through the holiday events for a few weekends, just because it has been so long. After all, time travel is a part of this game, and that means every question, on any subject, such as "why is it Christmas in May?" can be answered by "because time travel!"

Just to scratch an itch, maybe a weekend for Halloween? A week of Christmas? I would be in favor of this. I miss the CoX holiday events every year since shutdown. Matter of fact xmas is about the only time I get on Champions, just to open presents, but that version is very lackluster. Yes to Xmas in July, how about Halloween in June? :)
Player2 Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 I honestly do not see a problem with the Winter Lord attacking in the summer. Actually, seems perfectly reasonable that such a villain might want to annex another season or attack when it thinks everyone is vulnerable or whatever. I'm less inclined to see Baby New Year rescues in the middle of the year or trick or treating outside of October... but alien invasions, zombie invasions, and so on should also be able to happen whenever. The frequency can be bumped up during Halloween, but no need to limit those to only Halloween.
