Talionis Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 (edited) Trick Arrow needs a boost mostly I think to something Defensive not necessarily Defense, though I think I would boost - to hit from Flash Arrow. But it’s easy to forget Trick Arrow has playable Control powers that Hold Sleep Knock Down and Slow. Which is why Trick Arrow I see as only viable on Control lite controllers who are ant to stack Control powers. It’s sad that low mag makes Trick Arrow Control’s too weak for Masterminds, Defenders, and Corrupers. Edited March 10, 2020 by Talionis
plainguy Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Just wanted to add you need some sort of fire attack to ignite Oil Slick. Your charm/taser prestige power has a very high chance of NOT igniting Oil Slick and making the the Oil Slick target disappear which means you won't have any other chances to try to ignite Oil Slick again. I had to pick up Field Mastery for Energy Torrent and Explosive Blast to ignite it. Thematically not what I wanted, I wished they would have had some sort of fire component to Acid or Poison arrow to be able to ignite Oil Slick. I will say this against Cots and Counsel I am doing 3/8 setting with a TA/Beast ( Semi Petless last pet only ) build. Basic Range cap Hover Blaster. Why Softcap is important: https://dechskaison.blogspot.com/2011/01/why-is-softcap-so-important.html Limits: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Limits Attack Mechanics: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Attack_Mechanics Semi & Petless Mastermind Builds: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/10994-petless-and-semi-petless-masterminds/

Some players make their characters all about them, if it doesn't help them, they don't want it, their build advice to you will ofcourse be about making your character the best thing that helps them too if they ever team with you, because it's always about them.

Seems to work 80% of the time. Sometimes it takes 2 shots. But it definitely is reliable enough. Thank you, now I can go back to another build and get rid of Field Mastery.
