Hi all, first time poster here... Just returned to the game about 2 months ago, played it the entire time it was live and only recently found out that it was brought back to life. Glad to be back!

 

Bare in mind a lot has changed and I'm still trying to relearn everything but I think I got it to a decent spot, just looking for a few tweaks to round it out. 

 

I can't decide how to slot Dark consumption, the new end mod sets look interesting but have very little knowledge about how the optimal slotting for either of these sets. I tried to get my resists as high as I could while maintaining Melee defense softcap and ALMOST s/l cap, not sure what I could move around to get both or if it's even worth it on a Dark Armor tank. I know some people like to ignore defense on it and just get resists as high as possible. Anyway here is the build, if you have any pointers they would be much appreciated.

For these three what Mastery pool would you choose from? I was thinking Energy Mastery for the "Conserve Power" but the other powers in that category aren't really useful. Personally I like Soul Mastery because Darkest Night stacks directly with your Defense so if you're building for tankiness that's a bit more on top of it all.     Energy Mastery is also a popular choice but really just for Conserve Power, and you don't *need* Conserve Power though of course it helps.

I leave them open so you can do whatever you prefer.

Honestly, just go Energy Mastery.
You don't really have the slots for any additional attacks/buffs.

If you want to be godlike, pick anything.

If you want to be GOD, pick a TANK!

Something i have been playing around with.  Endurance issues are pretty much non existant. Great damage - going with assault radial makes that even better and if you use ageless radial it adds defense debuff resistance for the melee defense with is very high on this build.

Unfortunately, leveling is definitely a pain due to endurance but once 50 with ios and incarantes, dd does shine.
