Lynkon Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 Heya, sorry if this has been discussed already but I couldn’t find anything on the topic. I’ve seen players in game whose character model is a wolf. The same kind of wolf used in the beast mastery set. I was just wondering how this was possible and if it’s something super obvious that I’m missing. Thanks!
Techwright Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 Sounds like they might be using a shapeshifting travel mode which can be acquired via the PW2 salesfolk. They weren't fighting in that mode were they? 1
Greycat Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 I think Techwright has it. You have a few options. There's definitely coyote and panther, as well. Can't fight that way, though. 1 Kheldian Lore and Backstory Guide 2.0: HC edition Out to EAT : A look at Epic ATs - what is, could have been, and never was Want 20 merits? Got a couple of minutes? Lynkon Posted May 23, 2020 Author Posted May 23, 2020 Ahhh, okay, that explains it. They weren’t in combat, so that’s gotta be. Thanks! 1
Coyotedancer Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Might also have been a GM transformation... They have the ability to switch players' character models. (Back in the Live days, Beastyle turned my stalker Grey Kestrel into a police car one afternoon. It was really silly but only lasted until she zoned. XD) The P2W travel powers are a black panther and a little brown coyote. If you saw someone as a MM-style grey wolf, that would have to be something different. 1 Taker of screenshots.
