Camel Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 This isn't Invulnv/SS, but it is an Invuln Tank. So almost everything will still apply. You'll notice that my build I'm sharing has 45%+ Defense to Smash/Lethal/Energy/Neg Energy/Fire/Cold... This is huge, and you will always want to reach 45%+ to all these damage types. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.. But slotting Health and Physical Perfection with anything other than Unique IOs is a waste. You can get much more regen from taking those slots, and using them to put the Power Transfer chance for heal IO in Stamina and Physical Perfection. I don't know exactly how much regen this will yield, but it's definitely noticeable. A lot of people opt out of the Fighting pool on Invuln.. I can see the merit in that.. But Weave is such a great power... I'd 100% recommend taking the Fighting pool and either find a way to reach 90% S/L resist with or without Tough toggled on. Combat Jumping is something to consider here. I absolutely despise using flight as my main travel power. Almost 100% of my characters run Superspeed + Sprint + Combat Jumping as their means of travel. YMMV though. Anyways, here's the build. I made this for a friend who wanted his SS/Invuln to be an unkillable aggro magnet, and sees attacks as just another tool for getting and holding aggro rather than as a way to do damage. A couple build quirks to note - he said he didn't care about the psionic hole at all (?!...OK), and he insisted that Super Jump be two-slotted. This was prior to the Power Transfer proc, so maybe I'd find a way to fit that in if I were doing it today. Anyway, he has incarnate soft cap defense to all but psionic and toxic with only a single target in range. That also means that in non-incarnate content with normal enemy counts, it is very hard for defense debuffs to drop him below the soft cap. Easy to swap in Flight. He prefers Jumping. Like you he prefers Laser Beam Eyes, but I talked him into Fire Blast, I think so that I could get the set bonuses from Superior Entomb in Char. I don't remember anymore. SableShrike Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Threw this together based on what you wanted for power picks. Singletarget chain you'll have Laser Eyes, Punch, Cross Punch*, and Knockout Blow. AoE you've got Cross Punch and Foot Stomp. Boxing and Kick are much like Brawl; you can use them as fillers until you level and get the better attacks. Simply owning them is enough to buff Cross Punch; you don't need to use them at all. Why Cross Punch? Cuz it does everything Haymaker does but is simply better. Almost identical damage, hits five targets, knocks down, stuns, and buffs your own recharge when it connects. It's seriously good with Rage up. If you wanted, you can switch level 2 and 4 powers around and drop Punch for Haymaker. Punch is simply faster and feels better when exemplared, in my experience. This hits Defense cap to all but Psi and Toxic if you have enough enemies around. You do have a Psi hole with this, but aggressive play with your knockdowns and Hold mitigate a lot of that. Against 95% of stuff you should be invincible (cough) and hit like a truck. The -Res procs on Cross Punch and Laser Eyes will help your team drop hard targets like AVs; buffs everyone's damage, not just your own. But the recharge interval on the power is absolutely ridiculous and makes the power pick something of a waste. It's not a high-Rech (like my standard "Framework" build), but is basically build to crank Defense and Resist about as high as they can go.
