Darmian 449 Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) So is it possible to get the contact window scalable? Drag the corner to make it bigger like we can do with other windows? Barring that is it possible to have the option of enlarging text to 1.1 as opposed to 1.2? At the moment it goes from 1.0 to 1.2 and you CAN change it manually to 1.1, but only if you haven't formatted over the character limit already. A select and change option would bypass this. A few people have said to me they find the regular text a bit hard to read but if you choose 1.2 there's a noticeable disparity between that and for example the accept mission text which is not scalable. Thoughts? Edited June 14, 2020 by Darmian
Ankylosaur 47 Posted June 26, 2020 Given that monitor resolution sizes are so large now, the text sizes are probably smaller than originally intended. However, this feels like it should be a system-wide user option to be able to bump text sizes everywhere - not just an option for AE. Keovar 102 Posted July 5, 2020 I’ve certainly had to scale fonts up everywhere I can due to vision issues I didn’t have 15 years ago, but even without a specific disability, anyone getting into their mid-40s is probably starting to need bigger, clearer fonts. Personally, I’d really like it if I could recolor the text balloons of NPCs and others so they’re white or cyan text on a black background. ‘Dark mode’ or inverse contrast is a lot clearer, for me at least. There might yet be a heaven, but it isn't going to be 'perfect', and we're going to have to build it ourselves.
Ankylosaur 47 Posted July 5, 2020 I tried to recolor the text of voice bubbles by just manually putting in the html code for the text. It worked pretty inconsistently - with the same boss sometimes using it and sometimes not, which may be why its not officially an enabled thing. Darmian 449 Posted August 13, 2020 I just went through all my AE stuff and resized anything that could be resized to 1.2. s bit more scrolling needed but much easier to read.
LaconicLemur 50 Posted August 13, 2020 Have you tried /window_scale contact 1.20 ? https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Window_scale_(Slash_Command) Note: you have to have the window undocked otherwise it doesn't scale.
