What in blue blazes

I was something that was being worked on at Paragon before the shutdown and the SCORE team finished it up and implemented it. It's intended to fall midway between a Blaster and a Scrapper. So you have a blast set but the range is shorter than normal and the damage is about 80% of Blaster damage (it also has the snipes removed and decent damaged added to the mezzes). The secondary is an armor set with the numbers being about 93% of Scrapper numbers.

Im coming around to Sentinels.

They are I think very well designed and very well internally balanced.  They reflect a much more experienced design team than the older powersets and ATs (which had numerous over- and under- performers in the ATs - and a lot of ‘later release’ powersets are just crazy good)

As such, you would have to work to find a bad combo - and you at the other end just cant see  to build the just-plain-nuts things that some ATs can manage.  Its actually kinda nice, because you dont have the same drumbeat of ‘must avoid the traps/pursue the shiney’ that some other ATs and Powersets have - just pick something that fits your desires/playstyle, and rock on.

Great Justice - Invuln/Energy Melee Tank

Ann Atomic - Radiation/Super Strength Tank

Elecutrix - Electric Blast/Super Reflexes Sentinel

Ramayael - Titan Weapons/Bio Scrapper

C'len - Spines/Bio Brute

Is there any logic in playing Energy/Dark Armor?  Because it seems like the mobs would be constantly out of range of your auras due to all the knockback.  (There's a concept that I'm trying to make happen).  And don't you have to be near the enemy to use the self-heal?

Most sentinel armors have no auras, unless it’s a damage aura?

No invincibility for instance. Instead they get invincible, that gives a fixed amount of defense. That I noticed, all armor sets follow that pattern, similar to how stalkers also remove most auras for hide and other more thematic powers.
