Recharge on Voltaic Sentinel

If you slot recharge reduction on Voltaic Sentinel, does it affect how fast the VS's own attacks recharge (ie, if you give it 100% recharge it fires twice as many bolts during its 1m lifespan), or does it just affect how fast the summon itself recharges (ie, useless, since it's perma out of the box)?

My interpretation would be that it wont. Recharge reduction will only effect by reducing the recharge on the power it self so you can re-summon faster if your pet is defeated. I would think since the pet is target-able and can receive buffs, then recharge buffs should be applicable.

It only affects how quickly you can summon it (which, you're right, is useless).

Recharge isn't passed onto any pets because it messes with the AI attack chains too much, from what I remember. Something about it ending up with them spamming their quickest recharging attack again and again and not using anything else?

Damage procs etc do get passed onto pets*, though (or at least all the ones I've used).

* under certain conditions - see underfyre's post below.

They do and they do not. Only certain attacks that would normally use the proc will trigger it. So if it's a proc from a knock back set, only attacks that have knock back will trigger the proc.
