Hi !

I'm interrested in Psi Melee, using only the Psi Blades,.

have you any advice for the second power set ?

With a lack of attacks, maybe Dark Armor or Electric Armor ?

Thanks by advance !

To be frank, Psi-Melee is one of the lowest performing sets: slow animations, small AOE raidius, heavily resisted by robots (which is like 1/3 of all iTrial enemies), "insight" mechanic being not-timeable to maximize DPS window on enemies.

Would recommend any other DPS set with /Dark Armor or /Elec Armor, such as Super Strength, Stone Melee, Claws, Titan Weapons, etc.

If you have to go Psi-Melee, also take Cross Punch from the Fighting power pool.  Assuming you take kick + punch for the bonus to Cross Punch's damage, Cross Punch is nice a nice Cone AOE melee damage filler used in many top builds (except weapon-based sets such as Titan Weapons, Claws, etc).

Psi/Elec scrapper build using 3 Blades and Mass Levitate, capped out 75% resists (excluding Toxic and Negative) and 45% typed (All typed / All Positional).  Probably not the best build, but looks solid.  Was making something different, noticed almost all def were at least 40% so made it a challenge to make an all rounder that is probably not good at everything.  Haven't played it, but looks fun.

Sorry I really want to apologize, realized there was an error in my build.  Vengeance was clicked on doubling the defense, its actually half at 23% defense (probably an ok mid levels build for TF/SF group running if you used attuned on everything and normal defense IO then boosted them) all with Vengeance off and it was mean to slot in a LoTG.   Resists are still 75% , but back to the drawing board 😪  and maybe I could push SM/Lethal defense which covers a lot of attacks with split damage .

Really sorry about that.  I might have a lot of crap builds I got to go over now and fix, got to avoid vengeance as a slot mule now .  Crushed my spirit and royally screwed up with that mistake 😑

May as well go /Stone if you are intent on poor performance.

Id been told stone and psi were strong during a discord conversation.  Maybe it was purely for pylon tests? Im only 23 levels into my psi/fire brute...  Maybe I should switch to warmace/fire?  Ive heard so much about it lately.

Farmer build ?  I use psi/fire, its pretty solid and just a SS/fire clone

I know I didn't screw this one up like the other one I posed lol

Ive got a maxed out spines/fire.  Played ss/elec, ss/fire, ss/regen on brutes (plus many tank combos).  So was looking for a content and nice end game combo.  Not planning to AE it, but some combination of content and occasional PL through some slow levels.

Ah, I got tired of spines/fire...got 2 of them collecting dust.  Just boring, tried SS/Fire and the rage crash was annoying and didn't care for a crappy build for Rad/fire I tried.  Psi/fire and was ripping up stuff I got to 100 vet levels in 2 weeks where as the other 4 didn't make it up to 30 vet levels.

For mace, I will say its satisfying smashing things with a wrench.  Fire, I don't see it as useful when running content as  Burn is kinda useless unless you are solo.  Stuff dies to fast from your group.

Thats my one and only farmer.  Tired of farming so looking at something more well rounded.  I like fire armor cause of fiery embrace increase to damage.

I really enjoy psi melee. I started my toon as psi/ice, then switched to psi/fire, then psi/elect, then back to psi/ice, then psi/inv, and finally settled on psi/wp.

I am happy with the toon. I think greater psi blade is really powerful and mass levitate is a lot of fun.

Dont let anyone try to tell you a set is no good, cause I avoided claws forever and finally made a claw/wp brute and he is 1 of my favs now.
