Fire/WP?

I seem to have a knack for picking combos no one posts builds for. XD I suck at building my own from the ground up and generally use someone else's build to tweak as a base. Fire/WP seems to be one of those combos no one plays, probably with good reason but...eh...it's theme. Anyone got some build inspiration they can throw my way? Need to hit up the Blaster forum for a /sonic build, too.

Here's a quick generic build I threw together.  Softcapped defense to E/N for iTrials, hardcapped SL resistance with a +5 boost the reactive armor resistance IO in Mind Over Body.

I had a Fire/WP Brute back in the day and I enjoyed the pairing, which I also went for because of theme. The sets never especially complimented each other but were both solid in their own right. Totally viable, so go for it!

Fire/WP is pretty straight forward build, but looking at the statistics, not a popular combo, likely due to concepts.  WP often seen as the Natural set would likely be my guess.

 

If you know Fire's best attacks.  Then looking at other WP builds (3rd most popular WP defense set) will likely lead you to a good build for it.  Go for S/L/E/N Defense.  I bet one could get S/L/E/N/F/C all softcapped and a good +RCH for a good ST DPS.

 

I personally never cared for Hasten with WP, as WP has no use for +RCH only the Primary would, so I'd try to build without Hasten in mind myself.

WP's saving grace is that it's VERY low-maintenance.
