Herotu
What do custom colours do on Dual Pistols, please? I can't see. ..It only takes one Beanbag fan saying that they JRANGER it for the devs to revert it.
Ibarra
Can't say I've noticed much on them either. The impact, bullet tracers, and or any muzzle effect seem to remain the same, I think. 1 "Yeah, I think I'm peeking too, and I'm pika-pika-pikatchu." GastlyGibus
There's a handful of sets that give you the illusion of custom colors, but without them actually doing anything. Dual Pistols is one of them, as well as a large amount of other "weapon" based powersets. Though I did notice that, for tankers at least, customizing the colors on weapon sets will affect your Gauntlet inherent, and change the colors of the taunt effect that appears when attacking enemies. If other AT's have similar kinds of effects, I could see the colors applying to those as well, but nothing comes to mind at the moment. TemporalVileTerror
I believe it's due to the No Redraw option having to enable the colour palette options by default, even though there aren't any colourized textured for the actual Powers in the Set(s). 2
Techwright
There's a few dual pistols where the colors matter. For example the retro-future space pistols with energy rings around them. Those color quite nicely.
TemporalVileTerror
The colours of the pistols themselves versus the colours for power customization is a different matter, and the subject of this thread (I believe) is the latter.
